More like wait for Gogeta. Right now Golden Freeza is stronger than Goku or Vegeta Blue. After all he was able to survive Broly's assault for over an hour while both of them unfused were trashed by Broly. Only guys like Jiren or Goku UI and the fusion of Goku and Vegeta are more powerful than both Golden Freeza and Broly.

My favorite part was when you realize Frieza was getting his ass beat by Broly for an hour
That was 5 minutes tops
It was an hour because the fusion failed twice.
Rightfully deserved it for the disgusting act he did on Paragus just for the sake of his own entertainment, it back fired on him and took the beating of his life lol.
Two hours, actually. Thirty minutes apiece for both failed fusions and thirty more minutes of cooldown.
I'm just glad Vegeta wasn't a punching bag. He got the glory he should have had at the end of the second super movie.
My only problem with that is once Goku stepped in it's like they forgot Vegeta was there as they never show him until the end of the fight when he's needed for the fusion. I didn't expect him to jump in or anything but you never hear any commentary from him and yet you think he, Bulma, and Whis would at least be talking about the fight.

Why not see them? It flashes to Freeza and gang enough. Also it's common in all of db, dbz, dbgt (probably as I've only seen 10 episodes), and super to hear commentary from those on the sidelines.
Seeing Super Saiyan God Vegeta in anime form at long last made me so happy.
I think Vegeta was observing the fight and analysing how they can beat Broly, as soon as he comes back in, he offered to fight with Goku together. He knew it's pretty dire.
And it's good Vegeta didn't get beat up or one-shot like in other DBZ movies.
The Raditz scene was actually needed since it'll be a plot hole for DBZ.

Super Broly was easily the best, way better than BOG, they actually gave broly character depth, not just a raging berserker screaming kakarot, this brolys so much better

@@widchaponjearaphunt5452 The story is this one was just bad imo. It was soo rushed. And the action hype phase will wear off. The action really wasn't that great. It was way to jumpy and I just couldn't tell what was really going on most of the time. It felt like watching a shitty Hollywood Kung Fu movie, with tons of cuts and no good single frame shots. The action in the show is miles better than this. The ToP action and animation was far better than this. There was a lot of shitty CGI as well. All in all, I am very disappointed in this movie and Battle of the Gods was far, far better.

How is Battle of Gods possibly better?! There was literally no story in that film. Beerus wakes up...wants to fight the Super Saiyan God...goes to Earth...fights everyone... the end.
You can reduce anything to that level of simplicity. I'm not saying BoG is better but it has a lot more going on that than.

If you want you can say that all that happens in this new Broly movie is, Freiza kills saiyans, Broly is exiled then fights everyone... Then Gogeta appears. All that's true but it doesn't necessarily reflect what happens, if you want to look at all these films on such a surface level be my guest. But BoG had a lot of implications for the narrative of Dragonball and explored the history, had a decent amount of character development, new characters, forms etc.
Lol story wise BoG was better.

@@jimmygrey6848 Even the simplified version of the Broly story sounds a hundred times more interesting than the simplified story of BoG. That movie only existed to create Beerus and a new transformation, that's it. The only history was a few second about an unknown saiyan who also became a god and then died... very interesting... Only Vegeta had character development in that movie, no one else, but i wouldn't say that it was a problem, i got used to it since the start of DBZ.

People complain about the fighting being rushed.
The reason is that people complained in dragon ball super the characters talked too much in the middle of a fight and it ruined the flow.
so finally they listen to the fans and removed the talking completely. Why nobody understand that or saying anything about it?
Lol , i don't think they were even rushed at all , strange that some are complaining about that ,they spend a good amount of time with each one imo , sure they could have been longer but they are much better and interesting then what we got in the last two movies . Also lets not forgot that this is a movie that was supposed to be 3 hr as well, it is not a tv show format , for a movie i think they did great, still need to watch the hole movie , i am waiting for a proper quality.

_I really hope that when it's release the movie on DVD/Blu-ray that they'll show additional scenes that they cut from Toriyama's script. And if not then I'll be okay with them retelling the movie if Super ever comes back to Television. There just so much story that need to be expanded on._

I agree they should make an extended ver , since they have all that extra content and prob animated too, don't think it should be comp retold like the last two were.
Also, most of the time scenes get cut before they even are finished/animated/colored.

It's great Goku and his mates befriended Whis and Beerus with food, so last line of earth's defense is actually the Realm of Gods duo.
This guy is tripping. Super broly is FOR SURE the best movie out of all of them. You can't expect them to put EVERYTHING in the movie when they're obviously setting it up to we're broly shows up in the next are. I'm pretty sure they'll touch more on his story then.

why is everyone ignoring the fact that everything toriyama wrote about the original sayin lore is retconned? like litterly everything... kinda pissed me off.... don't get me wrong i don't hate this version.. but what is the original???? are we to write off all the old sayin lore and history episodes? here bardock did not came back from a mission he was sent on with his team mates, and where his team mates got killed by frieza's man, and where he gained clairvoiencey to see the future about what freeza was going to do... there is a complete 180 going here.... we see goku's mom i guess that's cool.. but the fact that goku was somehow already a todler when he was send to earth in the pod.. confused the fuck outta me... that freaking same day he was in his incubator? as a baby? so you're telling me he grew up to a todler in just a few hour's of getting out of that incubator??? how does that make sense? and i know bardock had ample time to steal two more pod's and get outta there if he wanted, but he didnt... i know it's cause of his warrior spirit.. but he knew he wouldnt stand a chance against freeza... so whats the point in staying? also he did not rebel the last moment against freeza.. instead he tried to stop the deathball... with a energy beam.. mmkay... and here broly is actually the same age as vegeta , while vegeta was supposed to be older then broly, and the sole reason for the rage and existence of broly was supposed to be his hatred for goku... but im glad they went atleast in a diffrent direction with that.. cause that was a dumb fuckin reason. all in all sooo many fuckin plotholes.. not only all the retconning, but plotholes in it's own version and story of the movie... so unless toriyama can give an explanation somehow that sayin babies grow up to todlers in a couple hours, i wil hate this movie forever... cause it retcons the whole series man... goku was raised as a baby by grandpa gohan... he was NOT a todler... to many plotholes... my head hurts... the best and worst thing about this movie was the history about the sayins for me, i really loved the interactions king cold and freeza had with the sayins, wish they'd show more of that instead of these retcons.. i love this show man.. i grew up with this shit.. to just trow everything away of the whole series and the whole outlook you have on it, just because of 1 shitty movie pisses me off, and it angers me, just how fuckin lazy the writing is, they couldve gone a million diffrent ways with this where they wouldn't have to retcon anything, but still have some interesting interactions and sayin backstory that we haven't seen yet, but this feels like they are rewriting the whole history of dbz just to apeal to younger audiences..... who might not know the original sayin history and lore, all i can say is i liked this broly more although they shouldve gone a diffrent way with this.
Toriyama never wrote the old saiyan lore stuff with bardock, and baby goku was an anime only thing that happened, wasn't ever shown he was a litteral baby in the manga when he came to earth. The old Bardock stuff was about as cannon as Turles' movie.

Just came back from it on English dub release. My only thing is that it could’ve been a bit longer. It glossed over some moments that make you say “It’s over?”. Other than that, watch the movie. Vic’s and everyone else’s performances was outstanding

I think when you say Whis acknowledges them finally working together that they used the fusion dance to symbolize this. Potara is a forced fusion. Fusion dance requires equal power levels and a perfect choreographed dance between two. It’s literally the definition of working together. I can see them using that to symbolize team work over the potara fusions

Just dislike & unsubscribe like everyone else.
Not surprised with what Geekdom said about the movie being too short. I figured it would be this way when they said Toriyama gave a multi hour script and they cut it into less than 2 hours.
I’m assuming the movie may have the same start and end of the script but a ton of in-between material was cut from the script and that’s why it seems rushed.
Even though I know this, I’m still gonna love the jiiiiieeeeet outta dis dam moofie 💚. But I won’t be as irritated with a retelling of this movie in the anime as bog and rof.

I don't think so. They already skipped in the manga, it was only one page with Goku Vegeta and Broly fighting, it will be the same when the anime comes back, most likely. Its better that way. DBS will never become a seasonal anime, which means that the animation will be subpar again. They shouldn't ruin this movie like they did with BoG and RoF.

I was little annoyed that Goku completely cuts in on Vegeta's fight. Why would Vegeta let Goku just blatantly step in?
Michael Roman At that point in the fight they were both just gauging Broly’s power. (Hence why they didnt go straight to ssb) They both severely underestimated Broly and when he started fighting Goku that’s when shit got real lol
It was his turn. They always take turns since the Kid Buu arc.

As a Dragon Ball IP it’s all about the fight. DB is never a story driven like Naruto or One Piece. Yes DB has storylines but it’s not complicated or take time to learn more of the story like Naruto and One Piece. DB has always been simple, “bad guy show up, Goku them fight, lose, hero power up and beat the bad guy.” I feel like this film did the greatest job of achieving that quality of DB and magnified it to Ultra Instinct level. If you’re going in expecting it to be Oscar worthy, La La Land level then you’re watching the wrong film.....
This film delivered the emotional feels, goosebumps moments, jaw dropping action scenes and spectacular visual that never before seen in a DB series. To me as a DB film it’s a 10/10. It could possibly be my best theater experience more than Infinity War..... Hoping for a 3rd showing before this epicness leave the theater.
Not likely cause they didn’t animate it but it would be a dream come true, my whole bank account worthy if they actually release Akira’s 3 hour version....
To me it's 10/10 too, not just as a DB movie, but as movie in general. Maybe it's a matter of my taste, but it was the hypest thing ever.

TBH battle of Gods wasn't really that great! It brought in new characters whis/beerus & God concepts which was great, but really it wasn't the best! Lacklustre in my opinion! I'd like to believe this movie is better!

When you watch DBS Broly you'll see there is a db minus backstory rehash and retcon, a Broly reimagining, a Paragus revenge plot, introduction of couple new characters and our first look at canon Gogeta with crap ton of fighting. Don't get me wrong this movie will be superior in terms of action and visuals but no movie has expanded modern DB more than BoG.

I feel that his opinion could be based on that BOG was the first DB movie to come out in years. Broly was hyped for sure. But BOG was way more hyped up. First DB film in a long time and it delivered.
Also BOG set everything else in motion. Especially DB making a return as DragonBall Super. I respect it.
Piccolo was the only one showed because he’s the next most popular character. It’s simple as that
Gohan is more popular. But Piccolo is the wiser choice to show the fusion technique to Vegeta. He was the one who taught Kid Trunks and Goten.
All that was said regarding Beerus and the destruction of Planet Vegeta in Resurrection 'F', was that Beerus approved of the destruction of the planet. In other words, he was okay with its destruction and probably considered doing it himself eventually. Not that he ordered the destruction of the planet, nor that Freeza asked him permission to do so.

Just watched the Broly movie, and I think it became one of my most favorite dragonball movies instantly,. Battle of Gods as absolutely nothing on it in comparison.
Considering Vegeta is the fourth I feel like the first Vegeta is the super saiyan god. Every time you see the frame it looks like Vegeta.
I feel like after watching this, I’m still going into the movie pretty blind. They didn’t really cover much in this video.
It really felt like it had a lot of cut content. Now I undersrand why the original script was for a 3 hours movie.

Saw the movie yesterday I think Jiren is stronger than Broly.
Correct, Jiren should be either on par or stronger. One thing we noticed was that Goku UI and Vegeta SSBE wasn't shown in this movie, and they're super OP.
This Broly has just raw power...no training felt like the older Broly was stronger than jiren
Hot Spanish I don’t know about that. The fact that goku and vegeta needed to fuse to beat him in SSBlue gogeta means broly might be as strong as jiren or it can be even stronger. Hes power was rising as he was fighting, and it was his first actual fight, not training. A fused SSB gogeta should equal Ultra instinct or be near it in power etc. Who knows-but this broly isn’t that weak. He equals super Saiyan gogeta in power level from what I saw

Umm....the same reason why Vegeta was like that in the beginning? It was just him, Vegeta and Nappa under Freiza's rule since he was a kid. Did you think Freiza taught them to be good and nice. Plus Gine says that once Raditz started doing mission and joined Vegeta she hardly saw him.
Im not saying this is 100% true, but there's no way if EVERYBODY or atleast most of them rebelled, things would've ended the same. It honestly never made sense to me that the warriors of the universe, out of all beastly saiyans who love to fight, none of them even attempted to rebel. Not even shot a ki blast?
They Are warriors... But they aren't suicidal or the type to die for a cause outside of the pursuit of power.

@@TreyHallRH3 I don't believe they knew of Frieza's intent. On top of this, Saiyans up until the the Frieza saga(or Bardock) weren't a match for even Dadoria or Zarbon, who were both collectively weaker than Frieza in his first form.

Hey Geekdom,please tell me that Broly's signature powerup audio and visual effects from the Broly Trilogy are still there as they tend to really tie the character together, the ones where whenever he is charging a ki attack or powering up,his ki shades the surroundings like a f**king eclipse and sounds like an high frequency energy whistle.These characteristics along with his signature 'KAKARAAAWWWT',really made Broly my favorite and most fascinating DB character in the franchise.

I watched the movie on Facebook with English subs this morning
Nagamine said in the interview that the script was 3 hours but they had to cut it down into 1 hour and 40 minutes so a lot things might have been left out and some movie that are hyped don't always deliver everything and dragon ball super broly isn't it the exception

Bardock was just a concerned father who was also a keen-minded warrior. He was a remorseful rebel.
If they included scenes with all the Z fighters sensing Broly and Frieza, they'd probably have to include their reactions for any significant beat of the fight. With as many Z fighters as there is, it was be bogged down and mess up the pacing.

He's just more powerful than Goku and Vegeta are. His power grew rapidly throughout the fight. I mean consider his base form compared to theirs. He hardly changed forms until it actually became necessary.
@@baddestislandgal5744 That's really not an excuse. As an example, I think of it as an RPG where a lvl 50 constantly character fights lvl 5 opponents. They will never level up or take a long time to get anything from those fights. Anyways Broly should have been a challenge, but not on a "God" level especially a fusion.
@@fatandfurious3305 Broly had a much higher base form then anyone else, yes. I consider it to have been a measurement of potential, and I don't think that shouldn't be relevant now. Broly should be rivaling but not overtaking characters that achieved a god form. It really plays down the whole meaning, but unfortunately logic is something that would never happen now in DB because it would be boring.

I'm not exactly sure how Brolys transformations work, but he didnt even show any signs of transformation until SSJ God Vegeta put him down. Which after the scene when he powered up in the water, his eyes turned yellow.
It's hilarious to me that people love this movie ,then say they prefer Super anime over Z because it has so called "martial arts" and "clever techniques" ,yet this is what made DBZ popular all over the world in the first place. Pure raw curbstomp fighting. And what's funny is Super anime doesn't even have what they say it does .It was never clever,never brutal. Just small,bunch of badly choreographed fist fights . This movie is more closer to the original DBZ principles than the Super anime ever was. I'm glad it came back to life after 2 decades. Finally feels like Dragonball again.
Suvikram id say bits and pieces of the vegito vs zamasu and jiren vs goku fight had decent amounts of old style dbz curb stomping. But yeah z was better
Geek don I’d like to thank you for being one of the only chance that didn’t spoil the movie for us I had to wait a whole month and somehow I didn’t get spoiled at all. Watched last night (the 16th in Time Square) and I just can’t believe it was just amazing.
I thought it was odd when Broly switched from fighting Vegeta to fighting Goku, Vegeta said nothing.
