Welcome back to Kels and John and to our long-awaited full Orlando apartment tour video (finally!!!)!
In this video, which we feel almost rounds out our Moving to Florida series, we share with you all the details of our new Orlando apartment! We've gone for a lot of boho and mid century modern decor and elements throughout the apartment and, overall, are so happy with how it's all come together! Absolutely love everything about this!! My husband and I moved from a 300sq ft studio in NYC to a 1000sq ft 2 bedroom apartment in South Carolina almost 3 years ago... And I haven't even decorated yet! (I did have a baby though so....) I just need you to come decorate for me! Haha! Seriously love it all!!

Love the apartment tour m! My only criticism is rug over the circuit breakers because if something tripped I would be search for ages to find the electrical "cupboard" hidden but I'm only kidding. What a great idea. You have both done such a great job. If you had to go back to your NY apartment I think you would struggle! Above all I love seeing you two get up to 3K views.

Loved the tour, I was patiently awaiting this video and it was well worth the wait! In other videos we would get sneak peeks but it was nice to see it all put together, you all did an amazing job bringing in personal touches and making it feel like a home. My favorite was the gallery wall, the Adjective old Disney pillow, the Peter Pan print, the bedroom bench, the photo from when you announced you were moving, your office colors make me feel light and happy and the bedroom is beautiful. I just realized I was also going to name the living which I basically named the whole apartment 😂 but I truly loved it all! I did have a question what is on the small square picture next to your engagement picture? Also, where is your Florida print on the gallery wall from?

Welcome home to Florida! A beautiful home for your new start of life in FL. Creative and a beautiful retreat. I would assume your apartment is pricey by FL standards being a 2BR, but a big change of space and style from NYC. I moved from PA and I rented a 2BR townhome condo that's $525 a month cheaper than the 1BR 750 sq foot apt. in Philly and no I didn't live in or near Rittenhouse Square.
If you've not discovered one yet, find a Beall's Florida store. A lot of "beachy" stuff, but good quality items and great prices with "deals" and coupons offered everyday.
Time to become an official Floridian by getting your driver's license and car registered. You'll need to get your license first and have photo ID and at least one paid utility bill to establish your new address. Once you have the license, you can apply for tags and because FL does not accept electronic transfers of car/vehicle titles, the process to get NY to send it to FL may take 2-3 months. Both transactions can be done in the same DMV type office you find near you. You may discover car insurance is pricier in FL than many states so just be prepared for a bit of sticker shock when you make that change w/the new tags.
So again a warm (and humid!) welcome to my "happiest place on earth " as well. I live in Tampa Bay area so come visit us soon. Beautiful beaches, lots of activities (and shopping) and great food.
