Thank you for sharing. I’ve been married 34 years and live in an old farm house ( plus barn and garage😣) bursting at the seams with accumulated life. Your video reminded me of when we were first starting out and how each item in our tiny home was found or purchased and placed with thought. I love how you have a connection to everything in the space and so freely share it with your audience in an honest way. Beautiful!! Mary Holme-Shaw I bet you have some amazing treasures in there! I can see how living in a small home after awhile you would start to accumulate things. It’s hard for me not to purchase new home decor items that are cute but I just think about how right now we have no space for it. If I get something new then I have to get rid of something old. 🤷🏼♀️

Yes! Love the space you created too! I lived in an illegal apt while I was in college at SFSU yeearsss ago...it's just that city life! OMG your hubby has me laughing out loud for that ending! Go give him a hug, right now!! 😂😂😂

Omg we got curtains like that on our old house bc the closets didnt have doors. Then we switched them out for simple thick neutral ones on a cool rod. It looked really cute
Did you switch them out because they were loud and annoying? 😂 my husband still hates them for that reason.

It really is about the space you create. Thanks for sharing that tidbit. I really love your kitchen tiles... glad I came across this video b/c I was thinking about how I may be able to cover up my current kitchen tiles. How do you dry out the butterflies? I found one and saved it once. I put it in a plastic container but it started smelling.
Naturally Ivey Well my husband found the black butterfly already dead on the ground. It never stank for us so maybe it had been dead awhile? And the other moth was a gift from a friend who ordered it from Thailand or something for a still life photography project and didn’t need it anymore. It was probably already treated and dried. 😉

Cute apartment
This made me think of my cousin’s place! My brother and his girlfriend own the house, it was originally a 2nd floor & 3rd floor apartment above a ground-level garage, but they converted the ground level into third apartment and my cousin moved in with his new wife! Your place is much cuter though! It’s hard to find affordable space in San Francisco, my cousins got really lucky in their case (you’ve got to give family the first crack at it of course, and at a preferable rent price!) 😊

Hehe that was my mom answering! Yes they do. It seemed strange at first but honestly our space is so small we don’t do a whole lot of entertaining except in the backyard which can be accessed without going through our bedroom. And we feel comfortable letting people in through our room if need be!
