As far as myrtle wood is concerned, my aunt had a bowl similar to yours bought during the time when MCM was at its peak. It is a rare wood and the symbol of virginity.

I just saw this video and saw the wooden bowl with pedestal and the description on the bottom is all true.I grew up in southern Oregon in coos county where Myrtle tree's grow like weeds and yes they are only found here and the holy lands. Crazy! i subscibed so new fan....thanks Jorge

Just found found channel, every time you chose the brass candleholder pieces I instantly remember Xo Macenna, she also get some cool pieces for as low as .50 cents.

I have been really loving brass candlesticks as well I searched my local thrift stores for months and finally came across a set of 4 for $12. I was so excited.

I love watching other people thrift because of the unique findings, my area sucks for thrifting no matter how often or when i go.
I really like your taking the time to cut in b roll. That mirror looks like 1940s 1930s from a dresser. The avocado green item was just a centerpiece unless it opened up then it was a candy dish. Gotta love the late 60s-70s use of ceramics to create a fruit still life in avocado green...my favs are the wooden things you find.

Yes she does a lot of MCM, like her style but I don't subscribe to resellers, because they make the prices go out of control in the thrift and that was the only chance for low income people with good taste to get something nice.

Hi Jorge you have a great eye! Your wooden pieces are beautiful make sure you treat them with mineral oil so they don’t splint. More more more lol! Went thrifting on Saturday and scored a beautiful area rug, Rodeo Home pillows, vase and Sperry sneakers brand new $19.

3:13 I love it sooooo much😍😍😍 I was looking for one like that for a long time for my wooden spoons. But I am making my own with paper clay and I'm going to cover it with cement for durability. But a natural stoneware piece would be much better😪

I love them too! I only clean with soap and water. I don't polish them because I like distressed look.
