Welcome back to Kels and John and to Part 3 of our Moving to Florida series!
In this video, we share with you the third part of our moving to Orlando, Florida journey which entails our drive from Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort in South Carolina to our new apartment and new home in Orlando, Florida!
We were so happy to FINALLY see and move in to our new apartment. See it for the first time with us - take a tour of our totally empty apartment and then share the highs and lows of the move-in process with us! We then share with you our move-in process: furniture building, apartment decor, shopping, and generally making our new apartment a home!

We moved back last year and so glad we did. Had tried moving here a few times when we were younger but always went back to San Diego. We just weren't ready to really leave home when we were younger. Absolutely loving living here. So many amazing places to explore and enjoy!

I moved from NYC to Memphis about 5 years ago and had the same exact experience. I went from a very expensive apartment in the not safe areas of North Jersey to a luxury apt in Memphis. It’s an amazing experience. Well deserved!

Wow, I'm right on time with the play by play! - That hammock is BEGGING to be used for a nap. Oooo...I hope you took some preventative Advil. It's going to be a DAY for you two. Good for you on taking a week off. I didn't. That was a mistake. FLORIDA!!! Woooo! That beautiful, beautiful, Disney sign. Perfect John Keys. Look at all the kitchen space, WOW! I can't get over all the space.Two bathrooms are the best thing in the world, trust me. Ya'll's smiles are soooo good to see. You've both worked so hard to be there. When you said you had a lot delivered, you did NOT lie. When it comes time to clothes, a good, large Conair steamer is worth every penny (the one with a hang rod). John, you Kit Kat monster! The juice vase is adorable, John. For the bedroom, measure the space you'd have between a dresser and the end of the bed. You don't want to close in the space too much or you'll loose a pinky toe. This may sound odd, but consider putting drawers in the closet. That would give you space for a small vanity/desk and sitting area in the room itself. Get a small step for the closet. It makes life easier if you're on the shorter side, like me. Ooooo...a napping couch. Those are the best! You're home is really coming together. Love it!

The apartment is amazing guys, I love it. I just wanted to give you both a big hug that first day as you both looked overwhelmed as you would do after all that. I'm loving all the furnishings and how it is coming together. The mirror was totally worth it btw and I think the vase is cute - sorry John!

Howdy new neighbors. I live about a 5 minute drive from Disney. Moved here back in 1983 when I was kid. Its a fabulous place to reside, hence that why we haven't left. So much to do other than theme park related.

I lived in Orlando almost 30 years (moved to Ft Lauderdale area 10 yrs ago, but my daughter and her family still lives there...so after Covid, I'll resume my visits). You'll get used to the heat and the humidity...and the daily afternoon thunderstorms during the summer...but the winters are wonderful compared to the north. Enjoy Orlando and your new life!!!

@@KelsandJohn my bride and I honeymooned in Orlando (WDW) in 1977...moved there in 1979...unfortunately divorced in 1988, but always feel an affinity for Orlando and WDW...gotta admit that it was so easy and fun to hit Disney back in the day...before EPCOT and the other 2 parks...a lot of my memories about WDW have been replaced...so it's all a bit bittersweet for me....but time marches on!!!
