Brook linen bedding is really the best. I have other comparable linens, but I love brook linen most. A quick right out of the dryer and they stay just as smooth on the bed. I sound like a commercial, but, they really are amazing! The apartment is just perfect!
Thanks for the tour. Your home is just that - A HOME. The wall art pieces are my favorite elements. This tour really reinforces that each piece was chosen deliberately. It's apparent that the process of choosing each piece was time consuming which lends itself to the value of personifying your home. All that is left undone is to experience making memories together. First off, what a beautiful well designed place. Its cozy and comfortable while sophisticated and well edited. Congrats, you did a great job. Now, as far as the fridge goes, I like the black. I think it anchors the black stove and microwave as well as tying in the black accents through out the house. I feel a cream one would make the black in the stove and microwave feel like just something you settled for as the cost of having appliances.
Yes! When she mentioned SMEG I was totally yes, OF COURSE SMEG, but light colored fridge I am not sure about. So yeah,I agree it would really throw off the current balance of black and it would also maybe mean all the green and gold and cream would melt into one color and lose some of the impact of contrast that is present now. So big yay manifestation for SMEG, but perhaps keep it black?
Our neighbor, from whom we buy appliances, says he’d never sell us a Smeg fridge because they are not very good. I love the way they look but trust his judgment. Add to that they’re at the peak of the trend and so a couple of years from now, they’ll look dated.

Even at my job -- we had an undercounter fridge with a freezer area -- the non-defrosting aspect became a huge problem. It actually started fights between people about whose turn it was to defrost the thing!

I love everything about this apartment. The apartment feels clean and airy and at the same time, very cosy. I absolutely love the whimsical that you incorporate in the design. An example of whimsy that I truly adore, is the bird light fixture in the kitchen (that wasn’t even mentioned in the video). The styling is perfect!
In the end your home turned out just lovely. The carpet to your upstairs is just beautiful. Noah's office is perfect. Every room is an eclectic feel which is my favorite. If you have your heart set on a cream color Smeg fridge you should have it - but - the black stove, fridge, and stools play off each other and together they make a nice counterpoint to the lighter elements in the room. Your apartment is dreamy!

We have a lamp in our kitchen also but mainly is on so that when I wake up for work at 2.30am I have a light to guide me down the stairs without turning main light on which could wake my hubby up xx
A Black SMEG will be a smart addition, encourage you to get bottom freezer type, since your view of the upper contents will be so much easier to reach items without the hunch over scramble of scuffling for the wanted elusive item in the far back corner. Wow, I love your apartment, everything is so nicely done. Love the corner seat in the kitchen by the window. The island is so nice to have, and the color is so nice. Living room window is so neat with the glass above, and the little deck must be so nice to have. Bedroom seems like a nice sanctuary and the office is so nice with the storage, relaxing chair and book case and the desk is is nice, really liking the adjustable height desks.
My two favorite things - the entire fabulous bathroom & the orange chair in Noah's office. Oh, I really like the kitchen too.😃 I think you need a closed door credenza to replace the bench under the TV.

Noah's office is so bright and cheerful. I'd only paint one navy accent wall, it would be a gloomy room all in navy.
Navy and orange are beautiful together.
But I think it would be too dark for the room, shrinking it's size.
