I opened mine to add some more clothes in....and now no lights are showing up smh. I held down to cancel and the water came out but won't do anything now
I bought one fairly new but used from someone. I know why they got rid of it. If it just slightly out of balance it bangs to a stop. Forget trying to wash towels and expect it to spin. Then the SOB locks the lid and you have to wait for it to stop to rearange the clothes. I am too embarrassed to sell it. It is absolutely the WORST washing machine Ive ever owned.
Yeah well my lock won’t lock! And my washer won’t start. It just clicks and clicks. That’s my problem and I don’t want to spend money on getting it fixed. There has to be a way to bypass this

Yeah, try again. Simply Un plugging does not work for me! Does not reset the lock! Switch is bad obviously! Meaning needs replaced!!! If peoples lids are staying locked on washing machines then the switch is bad and needs to be replaced! Maybe un plugging helps temporaraly in some cases, but will not fix over all issue.

Unhook lid switch from the board and hold cancel button 3 sec

Tried it didn’t work (for me at least) so what I did was push down where the lock is and opened it from the opposite corner. Gl out there!

It worked for me. I unplugged it and plugged back in and then pressed the button and it unlocked.
