As you know, our body's main source of energy is the food we eat. If you want to burn calories and lose fat you either need to eat less food, or exercise more in order to consume those calories you just got from eating.
When you burn more calories than you eat, your body gets into a state called Caloric Deficit - this is when your muscles require energy to maintain a certain level of physical effort, but your body doesn't have this energy ready available. It then starts burning calories it deposited in terms of fat or the calories you get from digesting food.

it seems like for exercise 1, while doing clockwise the breath is exhaled when the legs are away from the body and inhale when knees are closer to the belly. And when doing counter clockwise the breath is inhale when legs are away from the body and exhale when knees are near to the belly.
Can you confirm this pls?

Thanks Madam for this wonderful exercise. Two questions though : 1) is is okay to eat Gud (Indian jaggery) during the day ? (It is sweet but natural) 2 ) Any food diet specific that complements this exercise?
See, jaggery is better than refined sugar in terms of nutritional value but calories wise no such big difference in between.
