thanks for showing a teardown! great look into the workings & safety. fyi, the adjustments for the shocks are referred to as 'damping' (reducing the amplitude of an oscillation) not dampening (making something damp/wet)
10:30, when you drain the power to the board, did you have a dead wheel or is reconnecting the display and pressing that button good enough even if the wheel has hypothetically 40% left "in the tank"?
Nice video and thanks for the teardown as i'm looking to buy this wheel. One thing, your main view camera ( central) background picture is too dark making it hard to see the EUC details.
Thank you for the tear down this is awesome! Question, this only has compression and rebound correct? Is there preload adjustment like on the Patton & Sherman S?
@@2cells1pack Thank you, I believe each side has rebound and compression but not preload? I would test it but my Mini has been MIA in transit for several weeks now...
@@2cells1pack There is a dial at the top of each tube which should be for rebound and a box wrench nut that should be turnable that would be the compression (i believe this is incorrect) if its like the patton and sherman s, it should be compression on one dial on one side and rebound on the opposite dial and the box wrench nut adjustments are actually the preload adjustment.
Then the box wrench would be the adjustment at the bottom of the shock. I haven't felt the need to adjust, because the suspension is already quite stiff for lighter riders.
Very useful video indeed. Thank you for putting in the effort. My Mini should be arriving some time next week. Stoked! One tip for you though: You should really try to fix the mouth breathing. It is extremely detrimental to your health. Check out a few videos from James Nestor for some solid advice. And maybe try mouth taping while sleeping. No joke. Thanks again and happy trails!
I took apart my commander mini for a tire change, put it back together, turned it on, and it jerked forwards and backwards a few times then shut off, and now it wont turn back on at all. When i hit the power button I see the red light on board flash a few times and thats all that happens.
Thank you for sharing this video. I hope you can do the same for the EB Rocket when it becomes available.
Super helpful thank you!
You put a dab of glue on the brass standoffs to make reassembly easier. I'm looking for my First EUC and I think I'm sold on this EBCM. Wish me luck.
Yeah, just worried since they use it for grounding as well. Don’t want the glue to coat the brass

Thanks for the info!

After unplugging batteries, pressing power button drains the capacitors

To be honest, I haven't tested it yet. My feeling is that there is only rebound dampening, but I could be wrong. I can test it later today.

I only saw one adjustment on the shock body. Both shocks look the same also, so I think it's fair to assume that there's only rebound adjustment.

Yeah, doing cpap treatment and taking it step by step

Ive only had my wheel for about a week and a half but have 500 miles on it. How did my board get messed up ughhhhh
Any possibility that something got accidentally shorted ?
Good vid - I had to skip through for time. Is it a good build?
Cheers
It looks good. Has all the right pieces. Need to see how it holds up over time
Very nicely done. Thank you ! Only little nit picky thing : Lose the annoying canned music.
Ah, I thought it would be good for background. Sorry !
