Another solid two thumbs up production, if only youtube would allow me to do that.. I do like the clean design and modularity of this wheel and how you can pretty easily customize everything, like a better mudguard and put all kinds of attachements on the rails. I will probably still get the Extreme though, but this is a very close contender. If I was rich I would just get both right away 😀
@@2cells1pack Whaat? How are they arriving soon if they are not shipped until late september? :-D Hook me up! Would love to hear about any problems that might be with batch one and if I should risk it or wait for batch 2 or 3.. Keep up the good work!

Is there a reason why you did the left side when the valve stem is on the right side? I've never had to change a tire however I blew my inner tube last night after a minor crash on my way home. I'm really quite anxious about how this is going to work
@@2cells1pack copy that you're right I remember you saying that now x.x I'm equal parts excited and worried. Do you have the specs for the inner tube? I was going to just take everything down and look at the old one but I can be back on it faster if I have everything first :3
I have meditated on this video for days and I finally stripped my mini down on the left side. I have never changed a tire on anything other than a car! How do you recommend getting the old tube out of the tire and the new one in with access to only one side ? I would love if you filmed this process because I am sure that there are more people like me out there. Thanks so much!
@@adult93 Seriously? Man oh man, I figured you could just break the tires seal on the side you removed the battery pack from, slip out the old tube and replace it with a new one. A lot of missing screws and that suspension rod that screws into the axle all cracked? So much hype about that quality but I see the bar is low for begode... Seems pretty easy though to change the tyre
Does the Commander mini have an inner tube inside the tire? I've only had mine for several months, and I already have a puncture somewhere. Going to track its location tomorrow, but I really didn't want to take it apart this soon.....guess that's part of ownership. Whoever is the first to create a EUC owner's manual/tips and tricks will probably do pretty well for themselves. While I appreciate the effort, you need to revise this video as the tire change is virtually impossible without almost full disassembly of the wheel due to EB's decision to put the valve stem on the motor wire side. Near full disassembly including removal of the motherboard is required to adequately perform the tire change. This video is misleading and makes it seem like an easy task when it isn't at all.
In this video, I didnt' do the tire change - however a week after I actually did the tire change this exact method and put on a shinko tire (which didn't fit that well and required shaving, and still didn'tt fit that well) So yes its difficult, but it's not impossible.
@@2cells1pack Totally get where you are coming from, but as the only meaningful video on youtube for the tire change for the mini, a follow-up video explaining that the tire change might require a more thorough disassembly would be helpful and save many Mini owners from frustration. Getting the tube back on without taking the other pack off the wheel is hell on earth.
@@2cells1pack That might be helpful. All I know is when I followed this video on my tire change attempt, I wanted to throw the wheel in the trash by the end of it. I wouldn't comment like this normally, but you are literally the only act in town when it comes to tire change videos for this wheel. Taking it apart further will be the method for most in getting the tire changed. What a stupid design choice by EB putting the valve stem on the motor wire side.

We are addicts, so paid extra for air shipping. I'll let you know what we find out.
Thank you so much for showing this.
Not as easy as the BG modulars but not too bad. Good stuff & every CoMini owner should save this vid for future ref
yeah, it's still a lot better than the older wheels.
Thank you so much
Glad it helped.
@2cells1pack I would really like to see a suspension rebuild/tuning video on the Mini! Maybe test different weight oil and show the fork internals.
unfortunately I don't have the commander mini anymore. Local rider purchased them from me.

You have to do the left side because the motor cable is on the left. There’s a first for everything 💪🏻😉

I ve done but i cant to put inside the tube in the tire , the tube hole its in the other side of the wheel ,maybe better to disassembly the other side
Yeah, need some finger jiujitsu.
@@2cells1pack I will try next time , In the meantime I train in jiujitsu , Thanks dudes!
Hi, great video, thank you. Do you know what size the 12 Philips heads screws are for the control board are?
My mini arrived with only 4....... Not 12
The phillips screws are all PH2
I highly suggest to change philips to hex
Just wondering is it possible for the mini to just upgrade a 14 inch rim into a GT?
Not possible without changing more parts. Might as well buy a GT

Does it matter which side. My value is on the right side. Is anything different.
Yes it does, needs to be on the side opposite of motor cable
I am having a problem with my shock sounding like its bottoming out after reassembleing the wheel.
Any idea what could be happening
Probably something wasn't seated properly

yeah, the missing screws is unfortunate. I did ride it hard in a lot of trails - so things vibrated loose.
the suspension rod is not cracked?
@@2cells1pack Not the rod itself, I don't know how to call it but the bottom part with all the screws in it. Looks cracked maybe it's scratched?
@@HungrySpinz It was touched upon in the first teardown livestream. It's all excess silicone.
Where do you find the CNC roll cage replacement parts at?
It’s quite cost prohibitive… maybe sold on AliExpress ?
Wheel is built well I thought 😯. I’ll buy one soon😽😽
It is very well built! Just need to be mindful of your screws!

Does anyone know if those shocks are rebuildable?
Hopefully the shocks should be rebuildable. Also, there should be aftermarket alternatives, and if not, it’s just planned obsolescence.
not sure at this point in time.

BG linkage gives the most adaptability and modability.
