A comparison between V11 and V11Y would be very interesting
100v was needed for a decent top speed and a bigger battery was also needed but this is a very small upgrade imo
Then it would be stepping into the V14's turf I think. I feel the upgrades are significant, the V11 wasn't on my list for an EUC, but the V11Y definitely is, other than the frame & suspension, pretty well everything is upgraded on the Y, better batteries, a bigger motor with almost double the torque,, the Raptor controller from the V13 and V14, which has almost double the output, that all equals a top speed 20% higher than the V11. double the amps for charging, upgraded tire.
I bought these protectors for my old v11 and had to remove them as they clipped kerbs... Good wheel but outdated now... Modest upgrades imo
Why is the wheel outdated? Because it doesn't go 60mph then cut out like a piece of crap begode wheel? This is a perfectly fine midrange wheel designed for comfortable street cruising. This is not an off road wheel nor is it a racing wheel. I currently ride a v10f and I think this wheel would be a perfect upgrade for myself.
@@MrRich777I have 2 v11s and put in 4k miles without incident...it's been a great wheel. Suspension dampening is a little poor and wheel Clearence is a bit of an issue.... I would happily buy the same spec wheel if it fixed these issues so I'm gonna go for the v14 and restrict it for more range as the rebound dampening is a game changer and no more shell hitting....also my mate crashed one at 20mph and it's in bits.... Another thing to consider

@@MrRich777 it is an improvement on the old model but it's still a 3 hour job to change a tyre .... I pre ordered a v14 today... It was 900 more but I honestly think it's worth it for the cutting edge
@alexanderbuchanan33 that sucks to hear since the v10f also took me the better part of a day to change the tire. Also I was looking at the v14 but they're marketing it as a trail wheel and since I never ride off road I'd have no use for it.
I was wondering when this would happen…… from a business perspective this was a much necessary decision. What will be extremely interesting is where the V11 design will be in the future. What comes after the V 11Y. You take your best selling product and slightly improve it to maximize profit. Hopefully the next V 11y something version will be something spectacular.

@@Laic it would be better fixing design issues first... It's a good beginner wheel but putting 134 volts on that design would be downright dangerous I think 😂

Orange. This is the pinnacle of EUC manufacturers, to get that sweet, sweet orange. Not any orange, the orange must be a certain hue, and captivate other EUC manufacturers to also explore orange.
It has a slightly more powerful motor and has a top speed of 60km/h which is 10km faster than the old version.

@@VECTOR_Coasters the inmotion v11 has a top speed of 50km/h. The v11y has a top speed of 60km/h. This is a difference of 10kph.

For its price I’d take it over the S19. Regardless I don’t ride anything below 126v now
Everything else equal, higher voltage equals higher speeds, but there are other choke points along the way, The V11Y's motors nominal power is only .3KW higher than the V11, but it has a peak output that is over 2KW higher, and the new motor has nearly double the torque, it is also running larger bearings which should make it run more efficiently, add in the new Raptor controller which also has nearly double the output and you end up with an extra 6-7mph top speed. I would guess it's a safe bet that the newer batteries in the V11Y probably have a better discharge rate also.
@@gavinzooms why would you take it over the s19? I am torn between the two for my first.
