It's one of mine as well, although I'm white, because something like this already happened to me in Canada. Not based on my race, but something that should have never happened. I was attacked in my own home by a neighbour, who broke down the door to get to me. Yet even though I was perfectly polite with police, I was arrested, because I had used a small weapon against this woman to survive, (PERFECTLY LEGAL, and I escaped the second I could), yet she was not arrested (even though her breaking down my door was recorded on my 911 call) ! I was brutalized and then victimized a second time by police. I am a disabled 48 year-old woman, with no criminal record, and chronic kidney disease.

As someone with autism or any mental struggle , that conversation in the car convincing the arrestee that they will go jail if they don’t say they did something wrong right now is so likely to just trip them up. The confusion, pressure, and fear would lead to a false confession in a heartbeat, and I really feel for those who are/ have suffered under police in innocence❤❤❤

From experience as an officer, cops are taught to state false items like this ("Stop Flexing" - "Stop Resisting" - "I smell marijuana" - "your heart is beating so fast, what is wrong with you" etc, etc, etc as they grab you so when the evidence comes out the jury can hear you verbalize all these accusations in order to sway the opinion. The jury cannot honestly determine what the officer honestly was "experiencing" that the video doesn't show and it's the attempt to legitimize the officer's actions.
It's bull#$%& and they do it A LOT.

While having breakfast at a waffle house we overheard three AA men talking about police in our small Tennessee camp[ population 20,000 people] about Tennessee police stopping black people and other minorities for no reason and being beaten and thrown in jail for no reason, One of the men said that police had roughed-up his grandfather who was 92 years old and his grandfather said he would never live to see the end of slavery and doubted if his grandson would see it come to an end, His grandfather went on to say that because you're told you have rights doesn't mean you have them and never forget that Tennessee is the birthplace of the KKK.
Had a situation go similarly while driving through St. George, Utah... except it was 5 minutes into the stop when they started pulling weapons after hearing we were from Colorado. Crazy how late their senses detected marijuana coming from the car.

I'm a black American that 100% supports law enforcement. But officers like this must be weeded out of police departments. It's so sad that the majority of officers are fine upstanding people that are serving and protecting the public with no ill intensions, but the few bad apples (I can't describe them as officers even though they have a badge they don't deserve to be referred to with the title of officer) project such a bad reputation on all officers. I honestly believe that most good officers hate dishonest and corrupt police officers more than anyone. I greatly appreciate how video and audio are exposing bad officers and exonerating good officers that are facing false accusations. I also support civilians ising the 1st amendment and recording police interactions, but I very much do not like ar condone when people use the 1st amendment as an excuse to confront officers with the sole intension of causing an altercation with the intension of trying to bait an officer into violating protocol, using foul language, getting into a physical altercation or provoking an officer into behaving in anyway that vauses problems for the department. Remember police officers are human beings just like everyone else. How would you like it if everyday random people followed you with a camera and tried to provoke you into doing something wrong or anything that they can use to try and file a lawsuit or put online to make money. And the same people will call you and expect you to bend over backwards when you're the victim of a crime at the same time the officer is the person putting their life on the line to keep you and you family and loved ones safe. So please expose the corrupt police officers but thank and respect the good ones.

You can obviously see that the guy isn’t resisting at all when the officer cuffs him, yet the officer says “why are you pulling, man?” So it makes it seem like he was resisting. Corrupt cops smh

He asked why he was flexing when he was taken out, I imagine he was tensing up because the whole scenario was very dubious. The officer may have construed that as him trying to pull away. I have no clue what this officer was trying to get at with all of this, he already had this whole scenario made up in his head that the guy was smoking weed and had guns in the car over some ash, then pretended to be bewildered when the kid was acting nervous.
