Perhaps a good video format would be to go over certain rights/laws more in depth (or even just a simple overview) and use clips from police encounters as examples. In any case, keep up the great videos!
Would the officer asking him not to get out of the vehicle be lawful as "controlling the movement of the person as an investigation is conducted" as would be during a traffic stop?
Audit the Audit So it doesn't matter that the reason they think he's going the wrong way is because the arrows that are on his property? Since it's private property, he could make a U turn arrow so nobody can enter. Could the police then issue citations for anybody that actually ends up on the property? I would think that since the markings are on private property, the cops can't enforce those markings unless the property owner says they can.
@@rayage777 well it depends on the state as far as enforcing traffic laws on private property. Some states allow only certain traffic laws to be enforce by law enforcement on private property. In Georgia cops can only write citations for Wreckless driving, DUI, and Failure to obey a traffic control device to name a few on private property. So someone driving 45 MPH on private property and the private property owner has a posted speed limit of 15 MPH could be cited for Wreckless driving not speeding.
I disagree. I think he should be able to keep his job as long as he’s required to wear a dunce hat and a muzzle for as long as he works for that police dept. It would be funny if everyone he pulled over laughed at him and drove off or called 911. Edit, his issued firearm should be confiscated and replaced with a water gun and his taser should not not be capable of producing or projecting electrical current
Drawing his firearm was definitely a fireable offense. He used the threat of death against someone who annoyed him. He going to be featured on one of these other crime channels one day. I'm going to get my gun permit soon but I already know "not to point it at anything I'm not prepared to destroy."
That cop is a walking armed time bomb. He should be forced to find another line of work. He drew his service weapon because the owner beeped the horn ?? WOW!! He's a Dangerous mental defective. That should be a red flag. He's gonna hurt someone someday.
"Please leave the property." "No you don't understand, you made me look silly so I *have* to stick around until I figure out a way to make you the bad guy here!"
This is the most stupid part. Does the officer need to know who owns every property? He knows he doesn't own it. He's being asked to leave by someone with access codes to go in and out of the property. Any moron can look at this evidence and see that they are being trespassed. This officer is too egotistical to accept that, and too stupid to see that there's no "gaining the upper hand" in this situation.
That's is such a lame attempt to excuse the blatant abuse of power and force that has become the norm in police departments. that would be the equivalent of an african american saying He refuses to cooperate with police because u get shot regardless and then goes on to name one of the hundreds of examples. Certainly police officers getting shot while in their patrols it's a tragedy, but that doesn't justify the lack of professionalism and all around morals displayed by this police officer who blatantly lied when backup arrived, he was willing to lie over such a petty argument, imagine if his ass was actually on the line. He is the very example of everything that is wrong within police departments, and here you are desperately trying to excuse his behavior. what's wrong with you?

What you got to say back knowing it's being recording is "I'm not resisting" and "you are hurting me" just keep repeating it when they say "stop resisting" makes it a lot harder in court for a Jury to blindly go with the officers words. In fact the Jury might side with you because why would you be saying that you are not resisting and that you are being hurt if you were not hurt.

By the way, Officer Justin Henderson of the Aurora, Colorado Police Department, the officer in this video who drew his service weapon, pointed it at the Dr.'s head on his own property, and failed to properly document the incident as required by his department's policy, is currently facing a Federal lawsuit over the shooting death of a person in 2019 and was just recently (November 2021) denied Qualified Immunity as a police officer in the case. It seems Officer Jordan Henderson is woefully underqualified intellectually and emotionally to be a police officer and carry a gun. Hopefully for the safety of all law-abiding citizens who find themselves in Aurora, Colorado, Jordan Henderson will at a minimum be stripped of all authority permanently and decisively.
Not condoning what the officer did in this video but if I read the same incident you are referring to the person he shot had a machete and it was determined he was justified in the use of lethal force by the district attorney. In a channel based on facts and evidence we shouldn’t be posting propaganda that forfeits key facts in order to fit a narrative.
I love when the doc was being held at gunpoint and was ordered to stay in his car he simply said no and told him to get off his property. You can physically see his brain break at being told no.
Exactly. They need to raise the standards for becoming a police officer. Instead, they keep lowering them. So now we have a bunch of low IQ power tripping people being given a badge and a gun.
The doctor serves the community in the real sense, cops serve the community in the sense of protecting and serving the absolute fuck out of you to the point of lethal force.
Right? If he's that cowardly and that easily frightened, he has no business being a cop. And, if he's lying about being scared, and obviously is lying, than he's a hotheaded bully and has no business being a cop.

The stupid and confused look on that officers face conveys the reality of how much isn't going on between his ears, and really demonstrates why giving people like him a badge, a gun, and the backing authority of the state is a recipe for disaster.
I wonder if its not correlation but causation. Does having the authority, a badge, a gun, and the daily experience of people defering to a person, statisically turn them into bullies at a higher rate than other professions? Officers in most of these videos feel entitled to respect and compliance and when it is in the least bit resisted they get belligerent and vindictive.

Most times the Officer stood behind my driver's door with his sidearm angled at my ear. Believe me I complied with every order. I never even received a ticket. I'm pretty sure they pulled me over because they just wanted me to know who was in charge. Strangely enough after the initial gun out part the Officers behaviour was very polite. They would say some bla bla about my passenger looking like he was a " #$%$@$% " , " but it is Okay now buddy " and, " Be safe, we're lookin' out for your safety. Drive safe."
I didn't even think of that. Would explain everything. The only other thing I could come up with was: the doctor may sometimes serve illegal immigrants, and is at odds with police already over that (and that is why he is aware of his rights and handles the situation so well). BUT it doesn't do anything to excuse the officer's behavior. If I was the cop: explain you are there patrolling (even if it's not true), leave the property when asked to, tell the doctor to have a nice day.

Sounds like the perfect heist to me. :P I wonder how long it actually took the officer to understand that he actually did own the property. Dude was totally startled by the horn, overreacted, and then was stuck trying to justify his reaction to himself. He exaggerated the Doctor's driving, ignoring that he'd parked on private property (blocking an exit), and basically panicked and fumbled this entire interaction. This is the reason why cops can't enforce stop signs or speed limits in a Walmart parking lot it is up to Walmart to enforce it.

He could be power tripping because someone honked at him, but I think the cop wasn't supposed to be there - was napping or just F'ing off, and attempted to cover his tracks with intimidation, because you can't fix stupid. All he really should have done was move and let the other car pass - any action beyond that was unjustified.
The Doctor can enter his own property from any direction he wants. The arrow on the ground was put there by him as the building owner, and he can deceide whether or not he follows his own direction arrow.
Also, even if the cop wrote the Dr a ticket, the private property owner can have any traffic citation dismissed. Since the good Doctor was the property owner, he would just have to tell the court to dismiss any traffic charge.
"It is extremely concerning that someone of his social caliber would be treated as a criminal for telling the officer to leave his property." Wrong. The Dr.'s standing in the community should have no bearing on the case. It should be extremely concerning that ANYONE would be treated as a criminal for telling the officer to leave one's property, even if it's someone who is out of prison on parole. Constitutional rights are constitutional rights, and social standing shouldn't grant them more often to people of one classification over another.
And having to prove to a stranger dressed in black that they own the property and MUST give that stranger their personal information to do whatever they want with. If a stranger knocked on your door and asked you your date of birth (etc) and you did, they would tell you that you are nuts.
Exactly. If you want police protection then you are just going to have to put up with your rights being violated. If we can't screw you over at will then don't call when someone is committing a crime.
Oh, indeed. However, the Dr doesn't back down to thugs easily, very commendable in this day and age of zero consequences for gang mentality and actions performed by the biggest gang in the land with all legal recourse on their side. Putting kids with the mentality of gang members in uniforms and guns is ridiculous, let's do a little better USA huh?
There are also no trespass signs posted. The officer should have never been on the property to begin with. The fact that he had to be told several times to leave shows how this department disregards law when it comes to themselves.
Let's face facts here, the parking spaces are hidden by a wall and open on ground level with no barriers for immediate and rapid exit. Perfect stake out location for a filthy tyrant revenue collector pig to jump out and extort money from the very people they should be protecting.
@@Hear-MeoutTwo2 They are common, basically only those with business are allowed on the property with the sign stating the owners does not want anyone on the property.

Careless driving applies to public roads. The second he turned onto his property, the arrow means nothing as the state did not paint it, nor do they maintain it, not to mention they don't own it.
"not to mention they don't own it." Oh, they own it. Let him neglect to pay that $24,000 and you'll quickly see who actually owns that property. True "land ownership" does not exist. It would more accurately be named "consented extortion".
@@indyspotes3310 Well...yes and no. People "own" the land insomuch as they have the rights (that the government says you have) to use the property how you see fit (again, within the bounds of the law). So as long as you pay your tax for the pleasure of having the limited right to do what you want, then yes, you "own" it. So far, police don't have authority to police private roads/parking lots/etc... unless they're invited. Even then, driving laws that apply on public property, cannot be enforced on "private" property (unless it's a handicap parking law, or fire lane law).
The APD is a dumpster fire, to be honest. 9 years ago my husband's wallet was stolen. Obviously, we called the police and had them come to our house to file a report in hopes that they would just do their job and help catch the people responsible. In the 20 minutes it took them to fill out the report I decided I would try to help them and I managed to find video evidence of the people that broke in and stole his wallet. All they had to do was just go get that video and then continue what should have been a fairly simple investigation in order to arrest the people that did it. It's not like they were criminal master minds. They went around to a bunch of stores where they knew they would be on camera and used a stolen card to make purchases. So, do you think the cops took the 5 minutes to go get the video I found for them? No.. no they did not. They didn't even try to help, because then the would have to actually do something. And we can't have that now, can we? The people that stole the wallet then went on to steal my husband's social security number off of either his Medicare or Medicaid card (I can't remember which one had his SS# on it back then) and steal his identity which created an absolute nightmare of a situation where they took out credit cards and drove his credit straight down into the ground. All of this happened just because the APD couldn't take literally 5 minutes to get the video and then just figure out who it was, which they easily could have done using the parking lot video I also found for them, to get the license plate number and track down the owner of the car. All because they didn't want to have to actually do their jobs. So, while I respect the police in general, APD gets no respect from me whatsoever, and they never will. There is literally nothing they could ever do to make up for the shit they allowed a piece of shit thief to do to my husband. Moral of the story, feel free to rob anyone you want in Aurora CO because the cops couldn't care less.

@@jerrystephens9143 yeah and one further problem is, that if they shoot only once the courts could decide that the cop wasn't scared enough because he only shot once, therefore making him loose the case. they rather shoot until they're out of bullets, less problems in court. can you do updates on any older videos?

It is NOT training. It is their mentality and attitude towards the public at large. No traffic and nughttime. A huge stretch to call it reckless. The other cop not so bright either. Should have told him straight away to back out and leave. Demandung you back up for the little prick just attempt to get a nick in his belt.
Wow. He honks and the officer gets out of his car and says “show me your f***ing hands”... real professional.
"It's your property, you own it?"
"yes"
*stares in confusion*
What is this insanity of "owning" "property"??? Quit the bullshit dude you're going to jail
@@nspring06 Its insane someone can think they own property, we live in the United States not some capitalist paradise.
All land belongs to the police and anyone caught disagreeing will be shot at and no report will be filed!
Hahaha so true
That wasn't confusion. That was "oh shit"...he was being shady
priceless!!
This dr has balls of steel. The officer was immediately rendered useless by standing in the presence of such heroic levels or testosterone.
Officer got 1 week suspension without pay and required de-escalation training. It's been over a year since the incident in question and it wasn't until April 28, 2021 that the court decided that the city of Aurora and officer would be a part of the same lawsuit. The city is throwing up every bogus legal excuse they can and the courts are throwing them out. They are wasting even more taxpayers' money trying to defend this scumbag instead of admitting guilt and just paying the wronged party.
Any updates? 🙏🏼
Colorado has lots of snowflakes

It's called precedent. They don't want to set a standard for other people that choose to fight for their rights.
Thank you for the update.
"This is my property!"
"CaN yOU sHOw Me?"
Am I supposed to walk around with my house deeds and titles in my pocket?!
Most Cops are complete idiots.
Very valid point.
The cop had no right to be there irrespective of who the owner of the property was.
@@rsilvers129 You're an idiot if you think that situation applies to this one even at all.
@@rsilvers129 Fail. It was private property, the policeman had no legitimate reason to be there or he would have said so, the policeman should have just backed up and let the doctor drive past.
S C it’s not like a strip mall parking lot? It’s privately owned but the cop is allowed to be there until asked to leave.
A "oh sorry sir" let me get out your way, is a hell of a lot easier than a pissing contest with innocent people. Very unprofessional, I'm ashamed of those officers.
Well said. I agree fully.
He could be power tripping because someone honked at him, but I think the cop wasn't supposed to be there - was napping or just F'ing off, and attempted to cover his tracks with intimidation, because you can't fix stupid.
All he really should have done was move and let the other car pass - any action beyond that was unjustified.
@@1SCme My thought EXACTLY! That would explain his extreme reaction.
Think it says a lot about the level of trust in the police if citizens immediately feel the need to start recording.
The Doctor can enter his own property from any direction he wants. The arrow on the ground was put there by him as the building owner, and he can deceide whether or not he follows his own direction arrow.
Furthermore, that is a parking lot, not a street or highway
The cop was grasping at straws.
Also, even if the cop wrote the Dr a ticket, the private property owner can have any traffic citation dismissed. Since the good Doctor was the property owner, he would just have to tell the court to dismiss any traffic charge.
@@stormking7763 What jurisdiction do cops have over traffic violations on private property? Is there even such a thing?
@@srbaruchi Pretty much no jurisdiction

Heck I don’t like police officers. So it doesn’t matter just get off his property.

This is where we reappropriate the phrase ‘this day and age’, as referring to corrupt police culture.

They stood around desperately trying to find a reason to hurt this guy. And it's such a mystery why cops aren't held on a pedestal by many people.
Well said
Exactly 💯 right
pridenprejudice2004, you're very well informed. Wish more people would wake up and share our view. Please drop more knowledge. ✊🏾
indeed. that sounds pretty elitist thinking a doctor should be treated differently than the "common man".
And having to prove to a stranger dressed in black that they own the property and MUST give that stranger their personal information to do whatever they want with. If a stranger knocked on your door and asked you your date of birth (etc) and you did, they would tell you that you are nuts.
The second cop that said “so you don’t want us on your property at all?”..sounds like a veiled threat that they weren’t going to do their job!
Exactly. If you want police protection then you are just going to have to put up with your rights being violated. If we can't screw you over at will then don't call when someone is committing a crime.
sounds like they are agreeing to PERMANENT RESTRAINING ORDERS to keep them away...
Yep. They do something dumb, get called out on it, and move on to the not-so-vailed threat of not ever helping him if he needs it.
My thoughts exactly. So in the case the Doctor has to call for some kind of help, they can either throw it in his face or not show up at all.
@@r0ckymarie yup the police don’t have to show up to his property if a emergency occurs. They are not obligated to protect private citizens
I would bet that those “sensitive” police will retaliate and vandalize his office or pull him over on some. BS
@Jesse Scott this is under the assumption that they would ever be held accountable for those actions in the first place
Guaranteed they will retaliate! Because they're pride was bruised.
Oh, indeed. However, the Dr doesn't back down to thugs easily, very commendable in this day and age of zero consequences for gang mentality and actions performed by the biggest gang in the land with all legal recourse on their side. All police shootings found "wrong" should be prosecuted as gang attacks with that additional time on top, that's what they are most of the time. Putting kids with the mentality of gang members in uniforms and guns is ridiculous, let's do a little better USA huh?
Why was he embarrassed? He did a great job defending himself and his property. He stood firm and didnt let them bully him.
Cole Definitely not themselves because they’re above the law
How does a no trespass sign on a parking lot work???
@@Hear-MeoutTwo2 They are common, basically only those with business are allowed on the property with the sign stating the owners does not want anyone on the property.
@@Psy500 In this case a no trespass sign is not effective in an open parking lot.
The officer trespassed when he was asked to leave and did not comply.
Citizen: *honks*

Actually, on one of my GTA IV playthroughs, I did get a wanted level for honking the horn in a cop's vicinity.
Gotta love Rockstar's sense of humor.
No, YOU have chosen to lose your job.

Careless driving applies to public roads. The second he turned onto his property, the arrow means nothing as the state did not paint it, nor do they maintain it, not to mention they don't own it.
Yep
@@isaackvasager9957 - That’s simply not true. Careless driving is a charge that can be issued for actions taken on both public and private roadways.
@@isaackvasager9957
If that was true, then why can a cop give me a ticket for driving too fast in a grocery store parking lot?
"not to mention they don't own it."
Oh, they own it.
I think the officer just realized he lost his quiet place to nap while on shift.
Startled. Angered and panics. Draws gun. Goofball.
Exactly.

That Doc was calm even with a gun pointed in his face, amazing. Glad he ended up safe.
I watched a youtube video about police training "Bullet proof mind." It shows cops shooting folks after taking that class for no good reason. It is a sick thing to teach cops to shoot a person multiple times like they do like they are taught to freak out and kill destroy wipe out a person if you can't see their hands for a second. It is a militarized us versus them police training system very popular now.
@@jerrystephens9143 yeah and one further problem is, that if they shoot only once the courts could decide that the cop wasn't scared enough because he only shot once, therefore making him loose the case. they rather shoot until they're out of bullets, less problems in court. At least that's what I heard.
I don't think he was aware he was drawn on ( I think the light on the gun was too dazzling and thought it was just a flashlight) he never mentions a gun pointed at himself.
Cop started the confrontation with major bully energy but quickly realized his “victim” wasn’t afraid & wasn’t bluffing

Regardless of who owns the property, the cop knows it's private property and should not be there writing reports.
