I live in a senior community, and I'm definitely showing everyone here this. Every one of us has different degrees of knee problems. Thank you so much for sharing. There's has been no doctor or physical therapist that told me about the calf muscle working the knee, and I haven't heard anyone here sharing anything but med info and doctors saying to get used to it because of our age. May God bless you with Grace, Truth and Strength for helping strangers. 🥰😃🕊️🙏🏽🙏🙏🏿🕊️🕯️
that's why you shouldn't believe doctors on everything they say. Because they need help themselves with fitness and health wise....they just tell what they think
Started this exercise over a week ago, my needs felt achy and weak by the end of a working day and sometimes even half way through the day. This has already helped
The tibialis raise, you can do it while sitting on a bench with just your feet sticking over. Then put a dumbell between your feet and start doing reps by raising the weight with your feet. I learned this from kneesovertoes guys, he is amazing. Makes my knees bulletproof so i can fly over mountains while hiking and uphill running :)
I literally just discovered this a few days ago and so thank you for sharing! I had meniscus surgery over 18 months ago and am really struggling to get it fully healed. Your video brings me confidence that I'm on the right track!
You should watch the videos of Ben Patrick. His channels are "knees-over-toes-guy and "knees ability zero." Many people, including Ben have totally eliminated knee pain with his exercises and he has had 5 surgeries and plastic in 1 kneecap. He lived in pain for years, before figuring out his approach. This exercise, tibialis raises, is his foundational exercise, along with walking backwards. He has been demonstrating it for years. Anyone who has watched Ben's videos knows that this guy is just copying Ben without giving him credit and without the rest of the foundational exercises.
Thank you!! Thank you for this!! Fell on my knee HARD several times over the years. I am trying to avoid knee replacement surgery. So this exercise is a God send.
When you said "anterior tibialis," I was SO SO excited ! Seriously! My orthopedic PA evaluated my knee and ligaments etc and etc. He instructed me not to do lateral walks. I was 73 at that time, very active, work out regularly. I started have tibialis anterior tightness which led to regularly doing the exercise as seen in video. RELIEF! Thank you !.
Youre such an angel to share your knowledge that helps. Youre not completely monetizing what you know. Im tired of people forcing people to pay subscription!
I had a stroke in 2007, and tell you the exercises and advice on this link is better than my physical therapy in office. I’m doing so well. I feel hopeful. It’s not all ways easy but it works.
Thankyou! I was never taught this when I had sports injuries...in rehab they never told me what could be done to strengthen and improve; they just made more appointments for more therapies and more $$$ in their pockets..this went on for months if not years... Victim of "The Rehab System"

You can do this when sitting. Straighten legs out and pull toes toward toward your body. You can increase tension as the muscles get stronger.
