My knee still hurts, 4 mos. after surgery But now my other knee hurts really bad. All around the knee is painful, no swelling, a lot in back of the knee, the pain is 10/10 at times. I'm taking Tylenol. I'm headed back to my Ortho. Enjoyed the vides Thks!

I tried Boswellia serrata as you recommended in a previous video, it's made a massive difference to my knee arthritis which I've had for 5 years. Many thanks to you
Your graphs and descriptions are so helpful. Nobody has ever recognized my knee issues to be associated with a tibia fracture 47 years ago. For the past 7 years, I've kept it rapped when I'm out. It showed inflammation for the first time only recently. An MRI suggests OA and that isn't what I believe to be the pain source problem.
Thank you SO much for this insightful and joyful video!! it really helped me understand the knee better. Thank you so much, greetings from Tom ten Thij
Thank U so much for this great video, with really good visuals and clear explanation!❣ I absolutely do not know until I saw Ur video to know there is a field as nonoperative orthopedist and I love it.👏 I have had knee pain and complained to the doctor and those regular operative orthopedist do not even diagnose me other than saw my MRI and tell me that I have healthy knee among most of his patients. ( MRI now is about 3-4 yrs old, showed mild cartilage degeneration. Yet, I have so much pain standing, and walking. He did not even care when I told him I have pain in daily functioning. All he cared is if he can do surgery. Since I am not such candidate, so he did not even diagnose me. It just do not make any sense, and I started to get scared as I just scared of Surgery, or it got much worse. May I ask, do U have any good doctor like U in your field that I can find in Los Angeles❓ I so wished U are closer here.😇 ( I have done several rounds of physical therapy, I think it helped a bit, but do not solve the problem. ) I would really appreciate to hear from U, and thank U again 🙏💖
Thank you for this video. I found out I've likely been struggling with both quadriceps tendinopathy and patellar tendinopathy. I'm sure the causes are problems with my squat (shifting feet, pushing too much through the heel, and bouncing out of the hole on heavy reps) and exessive hiking (going for +2 hour-long walks almost every day--- I got way too much free time since I quit my job).
@@Durrekamilkhattak MRI confirmed a lateral meniscus tear… don’t know my medial from my lateral I guess. Rested for two weeks from training and working on strengthening my knee. Still feel a 2 on the pain scale constantly

About 17 years ago, I had a partial ACL tear that led to a full tear and a bucket tear of my meniscus; because of the timeline between tests, surgery and finances. I definitely remember the pain when I got the bucket tear more than pain associated with the AClL tear. From time to time my knee pain is bad. My orthopedic surgeon said I lost most of my meniscus. Right now I’m having a flare up. I’m trying to remember some of the exercises I did in PT, but were those most likely for my ACL and not the loss of meniscus?
Doc, I'ver recently had a knot forming on the outside of my right knee just in front of my itb after spending an hour or two walking around. It goes away by the time I wake up the next day. Anything I should be on the lookout for? Should I be in a hurry to get checked out?
Hi doc. Thanks for the video. Very good. I have had knee problems for quite awhile now. Im 68 and it's really getting me down. I've got knee pads from America but they only sort of work. Im pretty sure it's arthritis in my knees. It's mainly the left knee and l've been using crutches a fair bit. Do you have any suggestions. They would be very much appreciated.
Never had knee pain before, luckily. I was coming down the steps and took two steps at once, accidently, landing upright, but extra force on my legs. It resulted in a swollen side of my knee the next day. Now I have pain to the inside of the leg, parallel to the knee. I wrapped it and put a pad of castor oil on it. That helped, but man I was in pain after taking a shower and going to sleep for the night. I was happy the pain was gone in the morning. A day later the pain came back in the same inner area of my knee, and now extends up my inner thigh, which worries me. I guess I will put some ice on it, take an anti inflammatory, then wrap it again with a gauze pad soaked in castor oil ( it reduces inflammation for several reasons, one being it helps brake up white blood cells that accumulate after an injury). It's probably not serious, but it seriously hurts and it is stopping me from a lot of work I need to do. Thanks for the explanation. I am a relatively healthy and fit woman, starting to get older and need to say in good health. Thank you.
@@Yodaddio - Thank you. The pain finally subsided, but it took 10 days. All the ice, the wrapping, and the treatments, like castor oil soaked gauze pads helped bring down the swelling and now I can walk and do things as I normally did without pain. All these guys don't cover torn cartilage or smashed cartilage on the outside of the knee. It seems to be rarer but that's what I've got from a bad surfing injury. Knee blew up like a soccer ball and then cracked a few times about eight hours later. Certainly something is amiss there toward the outside of the joint. It feels like it's swollen and full of fluid all the time (can't crouch) but doesn't look swollen and the knee itself is packed tight (this happened 25 years ago and I've just put up with it).
Hi, you mentioned the nerve at the side of the knee, is there anyway to release this nerve a bit please, thanks. I haven’t got any meniscus left in my knee, so my surgeon injected a gel in between the bones, and it’s helped greatly.
