- Nirvana Fans.....FEELIN' YOU!!! Tonight we're coming back to Nirvana, with a cover of a Terry Jacks song entitled "Season In The Sun". FULL DISCLOSURE: This is one of those moments where I had no idea I had heard the song before, until I heard it being played. I had that "Ah Hah" moment, and I fully confess that I did in fact recognize the song. I still went on to review the song because it's still a cover, just being honest with you guys and gals. How's this one gonna go? Only one way to find out...

Somebody who hates Nirvana is trolling hardcore lately . As a Nirvana fan I don't disagree with the score one bit.
As a huge Nirvana fan I must say this song shouldn't even be requestet. It was a sloppy jam Session
Absolutely and more placed on the box set as a look at the band in a different light and kind of hit you in the feels…. It definitely wasn’t some super serious cover and was just for fun….. it’s cool when taken into context, but as a stand-alone there’s no way to score it high.
People are just trolling David with these type of requests. Obviously nirvana was just fooling around as they all switched instruments.
I love this song honestly, it feels really homely, if that makes sense. Like sitting on the porch early in the morning.

I’ve always LOVED this cover and it’s pretty obvious they’re just goofing off. Wasn’t even on any of their albums. The way I’ve always took it is that Cobain clearly loved the song and has said many times his his journals and interviews that this song moved him as a young kid in the 70’s and made him cry. So here, he’s in his 20’s and secretly wants to cover the song but puts up this front that “oh we’re just joking. Nothing serious” so they do this 🤷🏻♂️

You should put songs that you are about to react to some kind of vote so people can choose what song would be good to react. This kind of crap is uninteresting to watch and is doing damage to your channel as well. My first thought when I saw this video was, "Good god, who suggested this song? It's a terrible cover. And it also sounds like absolute poop."😂
When it said it was remastered, I thought, that might not help. But, to be honest, I liked it better than I thought I would. I was ready to cringe. Kurt was obviously undersinging the whole time. Though he handled the modulation (a little) better than I expected. I suppose the band did what they could with it. But yeah, it’s still a silly throwaway.

In a world that worships Nirvana... It's refreshing to hear David give Nirvana some pushback... I to be honest, i don't think David really "gets" Nirvana... But i also think Nirvana is overrated, or at least the adoration is overly simplistic.

The charm of the song is that they are taking a very bubbly pop song and putting it in a different light… youre totally right that its not a serious cover… but i love when artists completely reimagine bubbly songs from a dark tone. Score is fair… but id probably be in the 4-5 range

This is just some demo - and it's a very bad one. Maybe it's ok for people, who love every fart Kurt ever had done, but the original song - sorry that it is in french! - is really worth more than one listen! Jacques Brel "Le Moribond".

Man all this rare stuff was around on geocities websites in the late 90s. Should have been left there for the most part..
This is really just them screwing around and shouldn't be taken seriously. Singer/guitarist on drums, drummer on bass, and bassist on guitar. It's a goof.

@verydirtyflow - I got mad respect for Jason Everman (Special Forces hero) but, Kurt’s voice on that was horrible. I think their best cover was Man Who Sold The World. The most obscure ones were the Wipers covers.

David, sometimes you're much to nice! This version is really only worth a 2.6 maybe. They did NOTHING with the song, and - as sais before - it's a masterpiece in the original version.
