It is conventional wisdom that Nirvana single-handedly killed 80s rock with the release of Smells Like Teen Spirit. However, I always wondered how rock history would be different if the record company released Breed instead of Smells Like... Would it have had the same result?

Hey David!! If you've really only ever heard nirvana hits from radio then you haven't really heard there good songs. Yes the " hit " songs from radio are good but..... watching them live is a whole other thing with them. This whole concert is amazing as well as the other one from the In Utero tour video. I can't remember the name of that show but the In Utero album is fucking great, and raw and grungy as hell. The label didn't want them to release it because it wasn't what they wanted but it should have been what nirvana wanted right? Anyways great reaction dude.

I first heard this song without knowing the title or artist and it seemed very familiar as well. Then I realized it’s because the first part of the song (before the lyrics start) has a very strong Rage Against the Machine feel (to me anyways), and I’m a big RATM fan. At any rate, I’d *highly* recommend Nirvana - Lithium (Live at Reading, 1992). It’s the best version of that song by far in my opinion.. and frankly, I *very* rarely listen to Nirvana’s studio/album versions of their songs. I only listen to Nirvana live, mostly at the Paramount or at Reading ‘92. Only Nirvana songs I listen to the studio version of are Lounge Act, In Bloom and Drain You

Yeah man, I’m not a big fan of Nirvana but I absolutely love this song. Great reaction. Do Metallica’s - Moth Into Flame, next. I’m sure it’s already on the list.

      @@THEDavidHeretic Thanks brother!
I hope you like the song. I really like the Hardwired To Self Destruct album. Maybe you should just react to the entire album lol 😂

You never thought you'd enjoy a Nirvana song?? I bet your main exposure to them was their radio singles. There's a whole different side of this band that isn't widely known. I suspect you'd enjoy Bleach & Incesticide, maybe.

You really must react to The Warning and Argentinian band Eruca Sativa covering this with Pau singing lead, and not on her drumkit !

@@THEDavidHeretic cheers dude,I really should read the comments first, before commenting as I see its been requested. Just a Warning (excuse the pun)though,Paus vocals drop out several times during the performance and Danys guitar solo is really low on the mix...But for the sheer fact of watching Pau own the stage, this performance is worth the watch. I would love to see The Warning cover this by themselves,as Pau would just snot the drums, and she's proven she can play and sing - interested to see your reaction to the video though, good or bad.

Hi David, thanks for your reviews. I'd like to ask you to review this video: "Shoot To Thrill - AC/DC; By The Iron Cross"
IMHO This is the best cover of AC/DC I have ever heard....!

I'd love to see you react to *The Warning* being invited up on stage by another trio named *Eruca Sativa* from Argentina to perform this song ( *BREED* ) when they played there in 2019.
What I like the most about it is that they let the drummer Paulina take the stage as the singer and you can tell how much she loved being released from sitting behind the drums and turn into a Ninja Energizer bunny. The only down part is the sound because the phone used for recording was not in front of the speakers so a lot of the sound is lost. But the performance is there and you can even hear a little of Dany's guitar solo.
At the beginning of the video, they invite them up on stage and tell the audience that they practised this with The Warning via Skype. 😁
The actual song begins at 1,34 in the video. ruclips.net/video/ZRpy4jkjSZk/видео.html
In the beginning, you can also see some The Warning fans get all hyped over them getting up on stage and they start their shouts just as the video ends as well. 😄
There is another video that perhaps better show how the crowd reacts in the beginning, but there you can't see Pau's high kicks. 😆 ruclips.net/video/TUfoz02_VG8/видео.html
