So sorry for the late response. If you are using for sublimation you do not want to use the cartridge for the printer. I buy mines from Alibaba

Good morning , you can check the status of your ink in the settings of the printer , you will have to change the chip , if you fill your cartridge up but keep the same chip the status of your ink level will not change. so to get your money worth I will say don’t add more ink until your chip is dead. I hope this helps.

It all depends on how often you use it but I have changed 3 times and I print on 13x19 paper in the last year and a half
