I have this printer and I saying that the cartridges are missing. Not sure what the problem is. The cartridges are full, but will not show up. How can I fix this?
I think the Microsoft update is what shut my printer down. I get a scanner and printer error stuck on the display. Is that fixable? Or do I need a new printer?
I wanted to verify that your chips will work for the WF7820 after the firmware update. It killed my chips but after the reading your answer to another question, maybe I only need another set of chips. Please confirm before I order. I have spent so much money on trying to use 3rd party ink. Thanks so much.
We have not done the firmware so I can not say for sure if theybwill work or not. Most of these chips are made in the same place and just sold to various vendors here in the US so they all have the same issues.

I have a WF-7840... I have been using refillable cartridges... The chips I was using were guaranteed to work with updated firmware...which they did. I was lured into a false sense of confidence and did firmware updates as they were available... looking back this was soooo stupid! Sadly the last firmware (# CD30N1) killed my chips. Is there a chance new chips will work.. or is my printer going to require Epson only ink?? Do you know if your chips will work with this firmware #? Hi Joshua, the chips will read on any of the firmwares however if you do the firmware update WITH the 3rd party chips in the printer it will kill those sets of chips. a new set should pair with the newest update. we just got no updated chips and tested well over half of them and they all read. unlike before where we would have some that read on one printer and not the other.

Also, I bought a set of reman. cartridges with chips and they work with the new firmware ($35 for 4 cartridges full of ink including chips!) So...I know chips are available for use with the new firmware. I still want to use refillables....so I might give your chips a try? By the way, the new firmware is # CD30N1.... it was just released a little over a week ago..... Best Wishes, Josh
Hello, I was removing chip from cartridge that I purchased and the black part on the back of the chip came off.... what do I do now? Can I reattach it with glue or hot glue to use the chip or is it a done deal?
All of our chips come on the clip so when you order ones you will get the full clip. I have never tried to glue it back on so not sure how it will hold up.

My question is: installing chips on refillable cartridges or CISS, does it give you a much better yield than Epson cartridges? A set of refillable cartridges with chips is like $50-80, which is more expensive than some original cartridges, and surely more than non-OEM ones...
We sell XL chips the Genuine Epson XL cartridges are $29.50 plus tax each whwre as the chips are only $17 and a refill of ink is about $2 the refillable cartridges you only buy once
I have the 7820 and I purchased new chips and just placed more of the same ink and only the black and yellow were recognized not the blue and magenta I did everything but nothing any advice please thank you.

There is no chip resetter for the new Epson WF printers. No resetter for 7820,7840,7310 or C7000. You have to buy replacement chips.

Hello, there is no reset options for these printers. You must buy chipsand you can not do the firmware update

Hello no there is not and most likely will never be according to my manufacturer.
there is a guy on youtube that shows you how to over ride the chip firmware so it never needs a chip
