You have to keep taking out the ink cartridges and putting them back in until it recognizes them. Since these are third-party cartridges and not Epson, the printer won't recognize them right away until you keep trying.
Hi there, I did all steps you expained and it works for about 2 months and now, I don't know why my setting changed. I did settings another time but it is still printing too much purple, like before I set Adobe RGB 2.2

Hello! The beautiful thing about sublimation is that you don't need to cut the design or weed because the ink from the paper transfers over to the shirt once you press it!
One of my colors is not printing I am not sure what is going on and how to fix it your video was so helpful can you give me any advise how to fix it is only the blue the rest look great

Hello! Thank you for watching! Glad it helps. The ink I use is from Cosmos Ink. When you purchase the ink, they also include the cartridges. If you don't have the installation CD look it up on Epson's website and download it from there, if not contact them.
The actual printer doesn't have settings to change, if its printing blank make sure your computer is reading the printers ink levels. You can also do a nozzle check.
Actually You can! Some people use printers that aren't new and have been used and they convert them. However, once you put in sublimation ink then you can't go back.
I installed the sublimation ink first some people suggest that you install the epson inks first just to make sure the printer actually works but I didn't want to do all that.
@@totheteedesignprint3278 you definitely can put in regular ink and then convert to sublimation. I’ve seen multiple people install the Epson ink first, convert, then print multiple test pages to push the sublimation ink through the lines. Also, just like Idalis said, many people buy used printers and convert to sublimation. Something to know before spreading misinformation especially when you run a business.

There's cleaning kits you can use to clean the printer. But if you don't want to spend money just put in the new cartridges with the sub ink and just keep printing out test pages until you see that the prints are bright.

Mine are different* but my air vent hole is the the colored one and the ink vent one is the clear one in the video you said it would be a mess and I was just trying to follow you and I messed up what happens if it’s stained inside
Hello! Thanks for watching! I honestly don't know exactly what you can do. If I was you and this is just my own personal opinion, I would flush the ink out and rinse it with water until the cartridge was clean and then once it is completely dried, I would start all over! That is what I would do, it could work or not. So sorry this happened.

I rinsed it slightly and easy in just that area with a syringe and I let it dry .. so yeah girl it seems to be working alright. Thank you! I’m glad I did something similar to your suggestion! I feel better about it now, about test print on sublimation paper we’ll see what happens over time.
I am soo glad it seems to be working! If you let it completly dry and the printer picks it up and starts printing with no problem, then you should be fine don't worry bout it!

Are you referring to the part before we starting printing? If so, in the top left corner it says file, I just clicked on that, I didn't pull it from anywhere.
Can you buy just the cartridges without all the other supplies? I went ahead and bought my ink kit without cartridges and now I see once I opened my new 7210 that I need the cartridges 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️

Hello. No need to buy another. You can convert it. It will take alot of head cleanings but it is possible. All you need to buy is the sublimation ink and the refillable cartridges.
Basically the pigment ink that comes with it has contaminated the heads/nozzles so i believe they sell a cleaning kit maybe somewhere online for this. If not. Please... LOOK IP A VIDEO ON HOW TO SWITCH/CONVERT YOUR PRINTER. Demand is high for these yet any printer can be converted it just has to have refillable cartridges and brand new (not new, it needs cleaned)
I just purchased an Epson 7210 on Amazon. They're discontinued but are still available to purchase. The 7310 doesn't have the reset cartridges so I decided against that one.

That is really weird! Did you download the drivers to your computer. I have a PC desktop and I haven't printed 13x19 yet so I am not sure if it would let me but I am able to change the settings.
That is odd. It should at least be printing something. Check on your computer to see if the ink levels are showing. If they are not then the printer is not reading them and you will need to uninstall and reinstall. If the ink levels are showing then print a few test pages until something is showing.
@@sandrapugh8291 I didn't take the coloured bungs out so the air pressure built up 😅. Eventually sorted when taking the bungs out and putting the cartridges back in.. Took a few nozzle and head cleans but eventually started showing more on the paper :)

I checked all the cartridges and now i knew the problem was the cartidge chip was broken it should be 9 pin mine is only 7chips😥 and now i dont know where i can find the chip here in italy
Hello! That hasn't happened to me but I have heard that if you reset the cartridges my taking them out and putting them back in you should be fine. If the problem continues then take them out wait a bit put them back in and wait sometimes patience is key.

Mine isn't the same size either. I believe the black cartridge will always be a bit bigger.

Hello! No you don't, just make sure you clean them and dry them really well before refilling them with the ink.

I only experienced this when I tried the larger sizes of paper. Now I only print 8.5x11 because of the paper jam with the bigger sizes.
Are you removing the color tab on the cartridges is where your putting the ink? Also are you opening the air hole to put the ink in?
I can't answer that because most cartridges tend to be made differently, you have to see the instructions the company provided.

So mines just printing out blanks I made sure I did what you said before printing. What setting are in the actual printer?

Try changing the paper setting to Plain white paper

Where do you get the empty cartage
I bought the exact same printer she has, and I also have the same inks which is from Cosmos ink

I have a HP laptop and it won’t let me change the settings or even put 13x19 paper to print on silhouette. What kind of computer do use?
That is really weird! Did you download the drivers to your computer. I have a PC desktop and I haven't printed 13x19 yet so I am not sure if it would let me but I am able to change the settings.
My directions tell me that the colored plug is the air plug and to take that one out when printing

That is odd. It should at least be printing something. Check on your computer to see if the ink levels are showing. If they are not then the printer is not reading them and you will need to uninstall and reinstall. If the ink levels are showing then print a few test pages until something is showing.

I seem to be having the same issue. It is printing on the paper but very, very faint.
Were you able to get it to work and if so, what did you do?

@@sandrapugh8291 I didn't take the coloured bungs out so the air pressure built up 😅. Eventually sorted when taking the bungs out and putting the cartridges back in.. Took a few nozzle and head cleans but eventually started showing more on the paper :)

Hello! Thanks for watching! Your printer only comes with its regular ink. You need to buy the refillable cartridges separately. Mine came with the ink I bought.
I install alL the cartridges but only the yellow color is not recognized.what should i do?
Did you make sure it was pushed all the way down? If it is still not recognizing it, take it out and reinstall.
I checked all the cartridges and now i knew the problem was the cartidge chip was broken it should be 9 pin mine is only 7chips😥 and now i dont know where i can find the chip here in italy

Hello! That hasn't happened to me but I have heard that if you reset the cartridges my taking them out and putting them back in you should be fine. If the problem continues then take them out wait a bit put them back in and wait sometimes patience is key.
