So happy to see people practicing Indian/Hindu traditions (such as yoga, meditation, etc). Indians have been practicing this for thousands of years and it’s starting to get spread to other parts of the world 🙏
As an extreme beginner with buldging discs, this one was particularly good for me, and allowed me to take things at the rate I needed. It made me feel wonderful. Thank you very much for this video.
I have been doing a "hard" workout instead of yoga - Yoga has been my go to for several years.. Today I said - I need some yoga - only had a little time. Rolled out my mat on my deck before work _ thank you sun rise at 6:00 - and enjoyed this beautiful class. Could not have felt more blessed. Thank you so much Aly! Perfect start to a perfect day! Namaste.
Hi, thank you very much for this video! I used to do a lot of yoga after a difficult foot surgery that left me with nerve damage in my foot and ankle, which then caused imbalances in my hips and SI, I had stopped working out all together. I feel like my once strong and flexible muscles turned to stone. I really appreciated this video as a low pressure introductory to get back into yoga. It didn’t ask a lot but I do feel that I already benefited my body and started to unlock some things, including my terribly tight hip flexors. This video was great because while I felt I did something, it was short enough to fit in during a quick break in the day. I look forward to building back my yoga practices and helping my body recover and gain strength, starting with this video.
I'm so glad this flow was exactly what you needed to help you get back to your practice. You'll be feeling better than ever before you know it. -Caitlin
This is my favourite routine so far! Once I practiced this routine several times, I start to incorporate this routine as part of my day, with me being my own internal instructor. It connects me with my breathe and my mind so much!
Ok, so I'm coming back here to leave this comment. The other comment I left here 9 month's ago was when I had first started yoga, here, with this video. I can't begin to tell you how life-changing yoga has been for me, and not even just physically. (Don't doubt it until you've tried it for about two weeks.) And this video was a really great start to that journey. I mean, I've found a lot of great video's, but none of them have quite matched up to this one. The attention to detail, the flow all strung together by this breath. This yoga video really made me feel like I was coming home. I guess I'm just putting this comment here as a thank you to Ally Maz, and this channel for even making this video a thing. It truly is an experience and I hope it never, ever gets taken down.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We're thrilled your yoga journey started here and that Ally's instruction was so impactful. Here's to your yoga practice continuing to grow and to the growth ahead.
I found this over the weekend and have done this flow the past three mornings before work. I'm so happy with how I feel starting each day and I can feel the difference in my core already!
I just started doing yoga Today after a severe ankle injury/surgery in 2018. I LOVE this flow! I did 15 years of solid yoga daily and I didn't realize how it helped every aspect of my life until I snapped every ligament in my L foot/ankle/lower leg and was told "No weight AT ALL and no stretching" Thank you for creating such a fabulous easy-ish flow. Ahhhhhh I feel lovely.
I followed along and loved it. What a feeling I have every time I do yoga. I’m considering allocating weekly time for yoga classes because I actually love it ❤️
I enjoyed this video because you clearly explain the technical parts of each posture. So many videos just assume you know the distance in which your feet need to be apart, etc, which doesn't help if you're unfamiliar with yoga. So, thankyou! I also liked the mention of having compassion towards yourself if you are struggling with your balance, it's so easy to get frustrated, but that was a nice reminder. 😊
I have done gymnastics in my youth 4-6 years old played soccer 5-16 cross country 15-22 running my while life triathlons in my late 20's Training for half ironman in my early 30's never imagined yoga will get me . Its absolutely tough . Its my new challenge. thanks for the class, I'll keep rocking your classes once at a time since we got a quarantine with the Corona
As someone who has literally never done yoga before (but is kind of athletic) I really appreciated this video. I was able to follow along with no prior knowledge. I never intended to do the whole thing but I can already tell I'm going to have to do this again. I feel so calm right now.
Hey Ashlee, It's great to hear that you are going outside of your comfort zone and trying new sweaty pursuits, such as yoga. Be sure to check out our other inspiring yoga videos on our channel when you feel up to it! -Cam
@@lululemon thank you I definitely will! I woke up this morning surprised I was sore. It wasn't exactly the most intense workout I've ever done. So I did it again today to help with the soreness. I think yoga is the only thing like that. To combat the soreness do the exact same thing again. 😀Love that. I think next time I'll try a longer class and see how that goes. I've got the 60 min class qued for tomorrow.
I find when your body moves in new ways, you're always bound to experience some muscle soreness-and I totally agree, the best way to combat that is more yoga. I can't wait for you to try a full hour class, your body will love you for it. -Sydney
Hi Kate, I'm so stoked to hear that you enjoyed Ally's 20 minute class-there's nothing like a relaxing flow to get some movement in. Keep an eye on our social channels for more updates on future sweat sessions. All the best, -Helen
Thank you Ally! This is a wonderful, grounding, relaxing way to start the day when I'm too busy to get to an in-person yoga class. You have a real gift for teaching yoga. Keep up the good work!
This is not a yoga, but a type of fitness. I just got laid off due to COVID-19 and was concerned for my mental health. I tend to get in a dark place mentally when i feel unproductive, so I decided to start using my time to apply for other jobs and try yoga. I had always wanted to learn how to “do” yoga, but never knew how to start. I went on RUclips and clicked the first video I saw (which was this one) and tbh, I feel so much better and it’s only a 20 minute video!!! I’m going to be coming back to this video every day so I can memorize the whole routine. Thank you 💕💕💕 Also, I loved how she mentioned somewhere in the video to not criticize yourself - it was as if she was reading my mind! I love how she truly made you feel like you were relieving stress and gently reminded the audience to take a deep breath and not take it so seriously. It’s so easy to self criticize yourself and give yourself a hard time but she really made me feel better. Great video!
Hang in there because some days will be easier than others. I learned years ago when I first started doing yoga that nobody is really good at flexibility, strength, balance. It's part of why it's so good for us because we learn to accept our weaknesses or liabilities along with our strengths. And some days are just better than others anyhow. But it is great for your body and great for your soul and great for your mind. I started doing this series during this Quarantine as well. When I finish I'm just going to start over again. I can do yoga on my own but it is not as beneficial as being part of something bigger than myself. Namaste.
Hi Michelle, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words-I'm stoked to hear you loved Ally's practice this morning. Keep an eye on our social channels for more updates on our online sweat series. Have a great day, -Helen
Clear concise directions and love the direction of breaths which is lacking in so many others. A little too gentle for ,e but will look for others taught by aly
Thank you so much for this. Every time I fall off the yoga bandwagon and need to start again I begin here. This flow is just enough to keep me from feeling like a failure but helps my body start getting strong again. Thank you!
Hi Samantha, I hear you-honouring your body, while challenging yourself, can be a tricky balance. These salutations are the perfect place to begin again. Keep up the hustle and remember that savasana is also a perfectly acceptable place to rest. -AJ
Amazing amazing amazing. Needed something quick to do after a week of sitting all day; working from home. We also have a baby so I didn't have a lot of time this morning. I used to take Ally's classes here in Vancouver and not only is this an effective quick practice, but Ally is a gem.

Omg love her. The class was amazing. If you are looking for a quick 20 min mid day or at the start its amazing. I don’t comment a lot only when i really really love it. And i did really love it..
My first yoga class. I found it a bit intense for someone who has never practices but that was fun and I didn't force myself to make the exact same pose (to avoid hurting myself with a bad stretching) but I tried to challenges myself here and I think that was a good first attend! Thank you!
Hey there Areku, Thanks for sharing your thoughts and feedback with us. I'm stoked to hear that you stepped out of your comfort zone, and took this practice at your own pace. Challenging yourself is important, and we can't wait to see how your relationship with yoga continues to grow as you begin to practice more-you've got this. Best, -Sarah
Been having a hard time keeping up my yoga practice during covid because I’m really missing the class atmosphere and it’s so hard to go on the search for new yoga instructors online when you already have the ones you like in real life. But Ally’s voice is so soothing and she explains enough for a beginner to understand but not so much that an advanced yogi would be annoyed by the over-direction. Love ally’s classes!! Thank you for helping me feel more like myself today 💞
I'm so stoked that you enjoyed Ally's Vinyasa Flow-she really does have a way of uplifting your spirits. We'll be sure to share these positive vibes with our content team! Cheers, -Michael

After half a year of too much neglect towards my body I was way more stiff than I'm used to. This was very eye-opening as well as comfortable, after I accepted my current level of mobility. I WILL try this again soon to see if it's gotten easier after some excersising and stretching. :) Thanks.
Love this, am getting back into yoga after fifteen years without! This is a great way to start back into it. Will look for longer and longer and longer flows as I'll add more minutes to my routine. 60 y/o, been doing yoga since the age of 12!
Hey Patty, I love hearing that you've been rekindling your practice after fifteen years away from your mat! What inspired you to start back up again? When you're ready for longer flows, I encourage you to take a look at the other classes we have on the dot com ranging from 20 to 60 minutes: bit.ly/2JbnguS. -Sydney
Thank you so much this was really needed. I was working out a lot lately and started feeling a lot of tension in my arms, neck, and calves. At the beginning of practice, I had difficulty taking deep inhales sitting with my legs crossed. It was much easier for me to breathe at the end of the practice.
Thanks for this!! I havent been practicing for over 2 years bc life just got in the way. But am ready to go back to simplicity and get myself back to practice and peacefulness and show myself some love. I really enjoyed this routine! I want to start this at least once a week!! Thanks again for sharing the joy!! 💗✨
Hey Jessie, Thanks for sharing the love on this Vinyasa yoga practice with Ally Maz. I know that Ally loves to hear how her practice supports the community, so we'll be sure to spread the good vibes with her directly. We look forward to continue to practice (virtually) together. -Eliza
I would totally recommend this yoga class if you're new or even if you're original like have done this before but I started yoga a few minutes ago and this was so far so good and amazing! :)
Great class! Especially like that it does not require equipment AND can be done in the confines of my room in BK. I will be coronaRIPPED when this all over. Namaste, you petri dishes. Be safe.
I like the video because it’s not too long and how you explain the pose clearly and not too quick. After I did it I feel so much lighter now. This is my first time practicing yoga. I need to find out the benefit of its more, Thank you so much for taking your time to make this lesson for us. 🥰
Ive been struggling with finding a routine for my isolation but this short flow really helps me set up for the day! The rest of Aus dont need to isol6yet but i had been overseas so Im feeling a bit isolated in my isolation. This is great though! Namaste x
Hey Alex, I'm so happy to hear we were able to lend a hand in finding a routine for your isolation. I'm also a huge fan of this channel and Ally, so keep an eye out on this channel and our social page for more content! Cheers, -Michael
Great flow. As a new yoga teacher I love watching and listening to cues from other teachers for inspiration and pacing. I just started releasing a few classes on my channel so I hope to quickly gain confidence teaching to the camera!
Still one of the best yoga videos I’ve ever done. This is the one I send beginners that want to build a regular yoga practice!
We love to hear it, David-we're stoked that you and your students are digging Ally's practice.
“Balance is your ability to have compassion” wow that is a powerful statement. Thank you. Lovely practice.
I could do my practice with Aly everyday. Perfect voice, clear directions, great flow. More Aly please!
We couldn't agree more-Aly is amazing.

Never did yoga before this pandemic. I do a class from home every day now. Ally is very good: personable, efficient, and a good instructor.

This is not a yoga, but a type of fitness.
The true really yoga is not limited to simple physical exercises, but also to an adequate concentration, perceiving the energy flow amplified by the asana executed and energetic balancing of the chakras, to awareness and to many others.
In addition, some important aspects are not to be forgotten: basic yoga notions, preliminary yoga techniques and preheating techniques, eventual contraindications, and more.
There are other youtubers who really know how to do a yoga session. For example Give a google search: yogacoretoday.
However, Ali Maz's fitness practice must also be noted.

Thank you so much this was really needed. I was working out a lot lately and started feeling a lot of tension in my arms, neck, and calves. At the beginning of practice, I had difficulty taking deep inhales sitting with my legs crossed. It was much easier for me to breathe at the end of the practice.
Wow... hit every spot! And for someone who has an extremely sort attention span.. this was perfect - I’m committed! See you tomorrow... and thank you!
Great instructor! Really enjoyed this morning flow.
Loved this, and clearly needed it. I was brought to tears by the end ❤️🙏 Something about her voice 😇
Im about to do this. My only question is should I smoke a bowl before or after?
It's actually not good to smoke marijuana before yoga or working out
Yes
Ciig working out yes I agree, yoga depends on the person, but I HIGHly recommended trying it
using pot for meditation is amazing but everyone is different
Before and after works pretty fine 😂😂
Thanks for this!! I havent been practicing for over 2 years bc life just got in the way. But am ready to go back to simplicity and get myself back to practice and peacefulness and show myself some love. I really enjoyed this routine! I want to start this at least once a week!! Thanks again for sharing the joy!! 💗✨

Great class! Especially like that it does not require equipment AND can be done in the confines of my room in BK. I will be coronaRIPPED when this all over. Namaste, you petri dishes. Be safe.
This was short and powerful. I loved the balance of the practice.

Desde Republica Dominicana. Eres una de mis favoritas del yoga, por la calma y el profesionalismo que transmites en las practicas. Mil gracias

We love that your four legged friend wants in on #thesweatlife too.
I like the video because it’s not too long and how you explain the pose clearly and not too quick. After I did it I feel so much lighter now. This is my first time practicing yoga. I need to find out the benefit of its more, Thank you so much for taking your time to make this lesson for us. 🥰

Great flow. As a new yoga teacher I love watching and listening to cues from other teachers for inspiration and pacing. I just started releasing a few classes on my channel so I hope to quickly gain confidence teaching to the camera!
