Materials: Pattern suggests using Berant Casa yarn and an 8mm hook. For this example I'm using a 5mm hook paired with Sirdar No.1 chunky in mustard - a trusty favourite of mine. I usually get mine from Wool Warehouse in the UK. www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/yarn/...

You have an excellent way of teaching! I love all the tips and tricks you give! Definitely going to follow you!
i probably could have struggled through and figured out the pattern eventually but this is so much more helpful!!! thank you for going slow and explaining what the abbreviations are
Glad it helped!
Would love to see something on slouchy toboggans!! Thanks for your channel! No one else describes it as well as you do.
Thank you ☺️
Thank you a million for this tutorial!!! I found this yarn on clearance at Walmart and my boys thought it was so soft and the absolute best then I saw there was a free pattern thought it would be fun to give it a go but I am self taught and the pattern felt like Chinese to me!!! This is exactly what I needed to help me learn how to read!
That's great to hear, thank you :-)
Thankyou so much loved the tutorial!
You are so welcome!
Very helpful! Thank you so much . I'm making it now actually with the yarn.
Amazing, I bet it will look awesome :-)
6:05 i answered out loud "yes actually it does" between "does that make sense" and "perfect" so i lol'd when you said the next bit 😂
Yay! Love this!
Sooooo helpful! And I love how you showed it and explained everything you were doing. I found skeins of yarn on sale for $2.99 and wanted to give it a go and im so glad I found this video!❤️
Sound fab, you cam always tag me in any photos over on Instagram @crochetandtea
This was exactly what I needed!! My friend gave me that yarn so I could make the blanket for them… I would be so totally lost without your help!!! Thank you!
That's great to hear. Thank you :-)
This was incredibly helpful. I bought the Bernat Casa yarn jUst to make the pictured blanket but my crochet skills are below beginner and I did not know what the abbreviations on the pattern were. Thank You! If it turns out I’ll send a pic🤞🏼
Thank you, so pleased you liked it. I look forward to seeing a pic :-)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! It is extremely helpful! I am a beginner and just bought the bernat casa yarn, I am having trouble finding my chains or even locating any spaces because of how fuzzy the yarn is.. do you have any tips on how to keep track of where the hook goes next? And I will send a pic if I can complete the blanket.
Fuzzy or textured yarn can be super tricky, I would just take it slow and look at how the body of each stitch is made up to help you locate the top of the next stitch :-)
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I just started crocheting and found this yarn and loved it. My boyfriend really wants me to make him a blanket for Christmas but I just couldn’t figure out the instructions 😅
That's great, so pleased I could help :-)
PLEASE HELP ME!!🥺 I've made this blanket in the cloud gray casa bernat yarn in this pattern. It appears it needs a border trim of some sort because of the uneven edges due to the different textures of yarn, but Im struggling to make even going around in a single crochet look right. It makes my edges appear so uneven...even worse than no edge. I cant tell where I need to stitch around the edges at all. This is for a baby shower gift....and I feel so defeated lol 😓😢 thanks in advance.
Edging can be super tricky, sometimes the first edge of SC is a little wobbly however if you add a couple more rounds of say hdc, or dc it hold start to even out, when it comes to edging less is more, too many stitches in the edge can make it appear buckled. I hope that helps. I often just leave my edges raw rather than a trim :-)
@@CrochetandTea ohh thank you for the reply. Ill give it a go and just go with it!! Lol
