Is Life Short? - On the Shortness of Life by Seneca. Whenever People say life is short, they don't really mean that life is short, what they mean is that they haven't accomplished much with their life; so it feels short. What Seneca explains in this book completely changes the meaning of the shortness of life.
This is the right way to look at life. It`s only short if you waste it.
Its not about having the audacity to complain. It just genuinely is very short no matter what. Yes you can increase productivity and make better use of your time but you still have to rest, you still have to sleep and have time to relax or youre just going to break down and go crazy. So no matter what about half your life more or less for everyone will be devoted to sleep and miscellaneous trivial things.
And another thing, the better you make use of that time by devoting it to better uses and more fun and interesting things the faster time is going to pass as well. We all know how much faster time passes having a great time as opposed to staring at the clock in math class.
This video has really opened my eyes! from now on I'll enjoy life and not sit and waste time life is short but it's also what you make it

ᄃ최윤석 I think it's better we only live to 100. If humans lived lives that long it would be more bad than good. Dictators would live what seems to be forvever, and if life is that long then life will be less meaningful. I think it's good life is short. If it was longer some people would have many children that add on the the problems we already face. Life is short for a reason but with technology and medicine it can be improved.
