    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  Год назад

      Hi Ruth. The purchased towel was made with the roosters all facing the same direction. If I wanted to change it, I would have to remove the stitches in the hem of the towel and then stitch a hem at the opposite end of the towel. If you are using a towel with the print facing the same direction, you can redo the hem if you like. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    • @TheSewingRoomChannel
      @TheSewingRoomChannel  3 месяца назад +1

      Hi User-kp8vx. After cutting the towel in half fold it the towel as you would fold the towel when hanging it. Now go to 04:00 minutes into the video. Notice that the hand towel side edges is on top of the towel and facing towards the camera. At the opposite end of the boa towel, the hand towel is placed in the reverse. So place the folded towel with the side edge on top and facing away from the camera. I hope this makes sense. Thanks for watching💗 happy sewing😍

    What is the size of the towel you cut in half to go on your project?

      Hi User-kp8vx. The towel is a standard kitchen towel size. I buy most of my kitchen towels at Walmart. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍

    Could you use fat quarters for this?

      Hi Donna. You can try it - all fat quarters are about 18" x 21". Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    Oopsie...chicken print upside down. Hem cut edge. Use other end of towel.

    You talk about towels. I've never seen a printed towel like your roosters. Are these bath towels? Awfully big if kitchen towels. Sorry, really confused lol

      Yes it is a kitchen towel. I purchased it from Walmart a while back. Thanks for watching, and happy sewing. 😍

    Would be afraid it would catch fire bending over the stove burner

      I've seen people with gas stoves use them and that has never happened. I suppose if you were really tall or the boa was too short, it might be a problem. I'm short and have an electric stove so it isn't a problem for me.
