  • This parish dedicated to Saint Martin was rebuilt in 1681, on a cross plan with square choir and nave with two bays. Its interior layout (altars, altarpiece, pulpit) seems to date back to a late Baroque tradition of the 1820s.
It was organized from the 13th century - even earlier - around the bridge, a necessary passage to the left bank of the Arve: Sallanches and the Val d'Arly. Originally, the village was called Saint-Martin du Pont. The patron saint of the place, Martin of Tours (316-397) was invoked in Savoy for the protection of travelers and works of art frequented.
The parish church is the first in the nearby region to have been restored in the Alpine Baroque style in the 17th century. This artistic movement then translated the great principles of the Catholic Reformation enacted at the Council of Trent (1545-1563). This religious building was consecrated in 1688 by Monsignor Jean d'Arenthon d'Alex.
There is at least 1 bell, it rings the note Fa4-1
