Bells of the Petite-Verrière (F-71) - Parish Church of the Assumption - Angelus

La Petite-Verrière, a small rural village of about fifty inhabitants in the regional park of Morvan, located between the municipalities of La Celle-en-Morvan and Anost. Also known for its gites and restaurants, in particular that of "du Moulin"
Near the Château de la Boulaye, the parish church of La Petite Verrière dates from the 12th century, remodeled in the 19th century. It is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin. A first unlocated chapel, erected by the monks of Saint-Martin d'Autun, already existed in the 9th century according to Baudiau. The current church, which he describes as a "small building of the twelfth century, properly repaired in 1862 (…) [with] a pretty Renaissance chapel, built by the Arlay family", was perhaps the chapel lordship of the stronghold of La Chaloire, which stood on the site of the Château de la Boulaye (18th century). The erection of the parish of La Petite Verrière is quite late (1858) because it was formerly the annex of the parish of La Celle en Morvan. The church was the object of pilgrimages and processions against the drought, and of therapeutic rites (milk for nurses). There was once a statue of the Virgin from the 17th century which was stolen in 1994. It was once near the castle and had been transported to the church in 1861. The nurses who came to ask for it left a cheese, the women expecting a child, a shirt. On a Latin cross plan, the church has retained its Romanesque appearance, covered in slate.
There are 2 bells. The big one rings Do4-5, the small Re#4-2.
Particular compared to other ringtones, for the Angelus the hammer rings (3-3-3) on the small bell and for the swinging is the big one that takes over!

Non è detto se ci saranno campane dal canton ticino...quelle francesi sono in zone diverse dall'alta savoia a vedere gli ultimi clip.

Si ultimamente ho visto campane di altre zone sopratutto in Francia. E ho scoperto e scopro cose interessanti. Video a seguire.
