the only 2 things i didnt do is the hydraulic oil cuz the dealer told me not to until 100hrs and the front axle oil cuz 25hrs of the 50 we used the backhoe so the tractor never moved so i figured i will do that at 100 as well . it wanst that hard thanks for watching oh hope your 4th party went well !
@@ClinchRiverHomestead consensus was everyone had a great time and they loved the show. I was unaware I could not live stream from my mobile device. I guess my account is not big enough yet or something. I found that out 2 minutes before fireworks but I did get video of the show.
so far very pleased with the Branson and the 55 hp really gets the job done well .It has done everything i wanted it to do so far. I'm glad you have good success with your Branson as well. I think the 25 series is a little bigger body I was looking at that body size first but things are very sparse here with tractors and they said it wasn't that big of a size diff. so I went for the 20 and haven't looked back I think I am glad I did because I think it helps when I need to get into tight places. Thanks for watching
@@ClinchRiverHomestead I love the German Branson. It has black wheels and they made an all black Branson too. I made a post in the Branson FB Page about it.
@@larryandlisabarker5295 Hi, the 2021-model without DPF? I have also a 2021-model - 5025C-series. In Gerrmany all types of this series are deployed with DPF. I have no problems so far - my tractor is just 3 months old. I'm looking forward, what happens to the DPF in the future. Best regards
And you put oil in the new filter and then put it on and then you took off the drain plug so now you are also draining some of the new oil out with the old. You don't need to put oil in the filter on a side mount filter. Just a little on the ring and the threads
I have a 5520R that has 300 hours on it. On mine you do not need to take off the air cleaner housing - just unsnap the 3 cover clips and you can pull the air filters out to blow them clean and wipe out the interior. I suspect the same condition exists for your tractor. I have never seen anyone put oil in an oil filter before installing and I don't do it either. Just oil on the gasket before installing. The Branson dealer parts guy said I could change the transmission filter without draining the hydraulic oil at 50 hours (he said that is what the dealer does). I tried that - big mistake. With the backhoe frame (on mine) the transmission filter access is tight and you get bathed in the oil trying to swap the filter. Just drain and change the hydraulic fluid like the manual says is what I learned!
Yeah now let it sit so all the oil can drain from the top of the engine and then check it. I'll bet it's just that little bit over that you added to satisfy your OCD.
Maybe if you tighten it . I don't tighten it down I go to snug (or seated to the housing) then a 1/4 turn . I don't recommend anyone tighten it as tight as they can get it and then back it off not good for the seal.
Great video. Very helpful. Just purchased this tractor for my farm in NW Fl.
Nice job John and Nicole! I am around 32 hours so I will be doing mine soon too so thanks for the hands-on visual.

Dang well you had a great time and no one was hurt that's what matters.
This is quiet interesting.
In Europe - esp. Germany - this tractor is deployed in a ..25-series. I have a 5025C and I am very happy with this.

Great tip on the hydraulics I haven't don't mine yet it's been sitting . I'll be doing that soon
Thanks for the comment .
Hello have the same unit , what kind of Hydraulic Trans Oil do you recommend ??
Yeah now let it sit so all the oil can drain from the top of the engine and then check it. I'll bet it's just that little bit over that you added to satisfy your OCD.
If you don't have oil in the oil pan is the only way you can run the engine dry
Yep that is true I don't think anyone would argue that , no oil in the pan is no oil in the engine .
Just another effect of legalizing weed
NO! You tighten the oil filter and then back it off a 8th of a turn

Don listen to “Jesse” he’s confused from robbing to many banks…..🤡
Hand tighten, then a little more of course.
