I just bought a Branson 5520ch for my hobby farm last spring. Ive got 50 hours on it, bucket, grapple, and snowblower (canada). Its been great. It's so much easier to use than than any of my previous mid size tractors. Im really looking forward to blowing snow with it. I will probably buy a backhoe next summer, as I want to to dig some drainage, and a root cellar. Instead of buying a counterweight box, I just welded one myself. Its a farm tractor, not a matching outfit. I also have an old box blade and hay cutters. For a couple with 130 acres, it's been the absolutely perfect tractor. I have a 25hp Bobcat tractor for lawn work, hauling water, etc that my wife can blow snow and work with whem im gone as well (im a pilot), but for larger jobs, the Branson is exactly what I wanted. It's been amazing for my sawmill. It's the perfect size. Spent the summer milling lumber to build a new barn next spring.
That's awesome we love ours and glad we got the backhoe it is used a lot lol. Make sure to check you grease fittings I did a video on them already and some of the fittings on the backhoe were bottomed put on the roll in causing the grease to not get pumped in . When we removed the fitting there was a half moo cut into them from the roll pins.
Thats great to hear ours is an asset to our soon to be farm as well .glad to hear you have had no issues. We are getting close to 50 almost time to take her in. Thanks for watching .
Thanks for the comment ... the dam issue is at the 5 min mark. Nothing wrong with the tractor still going strong its a great tractor without all the bells and whistles. Love the backhoe it's well worth it . We use it all the time .
Off the wall question, but I just bought this same tractor “used” w/ 60 hrs and I love it. Been using the backhoe for the past month so didn’t know it (took it for granted) but the top link didn’t come with it. What’s the stroke on yours, extended & collapsed?
I am not really sure . On ths size you may be able to call the dealer and they can get you 1 or ths size. My tractor is not near my home or I would check .
@@ClinchRiverHomestead I don't know if they fix the problem, bought my 5220 in 2019, they made the buckets to light and my started to rip apart on top, my tractor been good, only thing is if you dont keep your rpm up your dpf Filter will plug up then just drill it out with about 20 holes around 5/16.
@@waynegalyen6176 ok I will keep an eye on the bucket . I always run mine at 1500 to.2000 so it's never gone into regenerate mode on me . Thanks for the info.

We just got a new Branson 5520CH. I am not sure what your experience is with tractors but I am starting fresh. I liked watching the video. Subscribed!
This I our first tractor and I am loving it so far . I am gonna make a review video soon almost 50hrs on it. Glad to see a fellow branson owner .

You are one of the reason i got the branson
We purchased a new 2020 Branson 5520C cab last November. Have about 35 hours and it’s been awesome on our 31 acre farm. Plenty of power.

@@ClinchRiverHomestead you have to take the backhoe off to change the hydraulic fluid
I mean hydraulic filter
@@waynegalyen6176 thanks for the info.
I'm sorry,,,, I missed your dam problem. Was there something wrong with the tractor? I am looking to purchased this in close future.

Thinking of buying how was yours going?
It's been great about 130 hours on it now.
Thinking of buying one how is yours still going
Where did you buy your tractor?
American outdoor equipment in Tennessee. See Hershel he's awesome 👌
Darn, that’s a drive from Rutledge.
that's a nice looking tractor the only tractor that comes with just one door is the John Deere if you want two doors they make you pay for it
The kubota we looked at didn't have 2 doors but I just think 2 doors is so much more convenient hey thanks for the comment 😀 👍
You can try a D pin instead of that bolt idk what sizes they come in tho
thanks ill check tractor supply
You look like Vern Tessio from the movie Stand by me.
Thank you, never been told that before. thanks for watching
I am considering, very soon, buying a 4820. If anyone knows of any compelling reason not to, please, please let me know.
Is the dog a wolf breed
No she is a husky .
Watch your bucket on your backhoe, it will rip with time
What do you mean rip? The metal in the bucket comes apart?

Please, for the love of sanity, stop using music!
Thanks for the advise 😀
@@ClinchRiverHomestead the music is fine.
