I know it simple but it Took me a while to find the in camera picture processing contrls ! eg "Rich Tone portrait" . Re:soft shutter accessory, I got one with a brown top/black rim to match my Sepia Zf body. Its a cool and pretty thingi.. but I really got it to stop any fluff/dirt from accumulating in that hole !!
I‘m a bit weird and read the manual. But your video still was very helpful, thanks. One thing I miss from the Zf is a working Auto ISO setting button. On the Zfc, I reprogrammed the red video button during photo mode to be the standard Nikon ISO button, with the front wheel AutoISO on/off (and the back wheel base ISO). The same can be done on the Zf, but there an ISO button only works when the ISO dial is set to C. Stupidly moving the ISO dial away from C just locks the AutoISO to the current setting - I would understand, if it just switched to AutoISO off+dialISO, but not this useless lock.
I noticed that too. I’m not a fan of that. I did the exact same thing, by setting the record button to act as an ISO button. I think the issues with locking the auto ISO when in C mode and switching the dial to any base ISO is a firmware issue and can be fixed. We should be able to switch to any base ISO on the dial and that would override any auto ISO that was previously set when under C mode. I’m not a software engineer but I believe that can be done.
I have the same red button but it drops very easily and more on cosmetic! It's more convenient to use without any buttons attached. Same issue with Fujifilm XT series.
Great job. It would be nice to see a demo of the MF face detection feature. Surprisingly, I have yet to find a video that actually shows you how it works and how effective it is.
I found that a soft release button provides with a different tactile experience (not saying better, just different) and yes, there is this also aesthetics element to it.
Nice informarive video. I already sold my z6. I am waiting for this camera to get released in Portugal. But Im still thorn between the z6ii and this camera because of the grip. Is the ZF really that good in AF for stills and videos? Best regards
When the Zf was released and my Nikon dealer had the first sample to show, I went there and asked for a camera, that suits my Original Nikon Soft release Button. First they laughed but then ... the rest is history.😄
Bracketing and Intervalometer functions required separate equipment years ago. Then they were incorporated as optional "backs" in film cameras. Now they are part of the camera's standard functionality. I predict the same will happen with Pixel Shift.
Who needs a soft shutter button? Where is the cable release thread I thought that would be there? And what about auto-ISO in photo mode? How long is Nikon in the photography business????
@@TouchLifeStudio it should be like that, but unfortunately it is not: first of all you have to asign a function button to ISO (I chose the movie-record button) , then if you are in C-mode and you pusch the function button, you can use your front dial rot changing the ISO number and your back dial to switch from normal to auto. When you are in auto-iso and you turn your main ISO button, the machine stays in auto, whatever number you choose... So have to go back to C-mode press the function button and leave auto-iso with the front dial... That's rideculous in my opinion.
@@easyki yes, I agree with that. They should fix that with a FW update. Base ISO should override any auto ISO, without having to go back to C-mode to change it.
The soft release button is a pretty obvious feature. I bought a blue one on Amazon, and it was lost in less than a week. I'm not sure I am going to replace it. I don't see any value to it other than style.
What are some hidden Zf camera features that are not obvious?

Did you know that you have an on/off switch?

Thanks. I may do a quick video on that at some point.
Nice presentation Touch Life!

What is th point of the soft release button? Is it just for looks/style, or does it have some useful purpose?
I found that a soft release button provides with a different tactile experience (not saying better, just different) and yes, there is this also aesthetics element to it.

Yes, Zf is very good with its eye AF for stills and video.
and how about the tracking AF mode?@@TouchLifeStudio
@@hugomouteira7015 while it I not at the same level as the Z8 and Z9, it is better than the Z6II. you will not be disappointed.
Great Job my friend, pixel shift can be very confusing to say the least, take care. - Jeff
Yeah, there is not much info online about the pixel shift. So I had to do my own research and share.
Solid presentation. Well done
I use the Nikon AR-9 soft shutter release button. It looks amazing on this camera.
Well Done Good Quality Presentation Sir!!
Thank you Ronald!
Great job brother .. I hope to find a panorama mode on nikon cameras to get a panoramic shots directly from camera like most of smartphones nowadays
No panorama feature in the Zf. But can be done in post in Lightroom, which is fairly easy.
Not hidden features, not secreats, just click baits, and I am here watching it.
Thank you, my dear brother, for valuable information
Hope I was able to help.

Yep, sometimes people don’t know until they see it.
I loved the soft release on mx xPro and other Fuji cameras.
The gold button is the best
Gold button is nice too
Nice video. Thanks.
Thanks Hohn.
Awesome!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!! 👍👏👏
Glad to hear

I can see that happening.
It's not about shooting in black and white it's about looking through the viewfinder and seeing the scene in black and white
😃 Fantastic.
Thank you
Nice camera

Auto ISO in photo mode is there. Just set your camera to C mode on the ISO dial and now you can change ISO to Auto. Hope this helps.

Loctite blue.
Agreed there are no “secrets” on this list
I like the red/black…
I put a soft release button on my Leica Q3
I order black & red
Why would anyone shoot JPEG on such an amazing camera when RAW is available? Makes no sense at all.
For the same reason many use Fujifilm to shot JPG. Much of that is about workflow and speed.
Everyone should read the manual as i do. It's the only thing i gather from this video
Camera not showing in a very close
I got the gold button
Awesome!
Shutter release buttons not universally approved because people press too hard damaging internal springs. Rumour?
I never heard of that but I imagine it could happen.
More than 3 minutes and he is talking about a button accessory….my good this gadget boys….
Secrets not found
This video doesn't make any sense - these are known features, not hidden ones. Seriously man...
omg, 1.5min preamble and you just said the same thing twice, stop wasting our time
Please put off this red button… it s not a Leica :).
. !
Hidden trick to the Zf. Did you know that without a battery the camera will not turn on? Like and subscribe for more useless clickbait videos
Waste of time click bait
No secrets just clickbait.
Why not more MPs? Such a shame. Put a 45MP sensor inside and 1k more and it is the perfect camera.
Ha-ha, we all would love that.
What a waste of time, none if thos is hidden ir a secret. But hey "please like and subscribe" 🤮

LOL
it's a Zf, not a zed f
Sounds great!
