- In this video, me and Swagkage go over the numerous writing inconsistencies and errors around Kefla, Kale, and Caulifla! Why was their narrative completely illogical? Why was it inconsistent? Why were they so strong for no reason, why can two girls who have never trained before with fusion, suddenly be above vs Ultra Instinct Goku?

I’m not sure about this correct me if I am wrong but I think the reason why they made Kefla so strong was because of how strong kale is because when they use the ear rings kale doesn’t have to lower her power to match caulifla like the fusion dance if they used the fusion dance kefla would be much much weaker

DBZ Broly is a fan favorite character who everyone agreed had a terrible backstory but was cool. Can you imagine if a female fighter was like that? No! Kefla is a perfect Example! She had cool attacks, great interactions with Goku but the community decided "Oh, she shouldn't be that strong!" They took this time to start really yelling at the writers when there are so many characters who make almost no sense power wise.
@@Muppet567 Broly didn't ascend the entirety of the power scale in a single tournament arc. He just "was". He wasn't canon forever until he was, and had 3 feature films dating back decades as well as being present in a number of games.

It may not have been the words themselves it may have been him having to imagine it. Attempting to comprehend losing everyone he held dear in an instant because of this other Universe’s Saiyan and the fact he was a weakling unable to do anything. That’s definitely enough emotional distress and enough of a cause for rage.

Broly was my favorite character throughout Dragon ball z series. When I was a kid I had a Broly action figure and it never left my side even when I took baths.
I liked kale, really wanted Saiyan women but her attitude got repetitive and it was hard to like.
I hated her the moment she went berserk. Im fine with shy type characters and can deal with the shy female character thats in EVERY. SINGLE. ANIME. But she deadass went berserk out of jealousy and that to me is just so annoying

Yeah that is literally all DBS will ever amount to. The direction, the logic, all flawed. Like why couldn't we get something simple like a Goten arc. Or Gohan. Tbh Kale and Califla aren’t that powerful at all, a weakened/exhausted Goku was completely wrecking them. Realistically speaking a ssj2 Goku with full stamina could easily take out both of them.

If we do then add Gohan, Cabba, and Kale to that list.
I mean, unless we're saying that describing the event is enough to "deserve" the transformation. But that feels kinda week. Goku and Trunks watched someone that was very near and dear to them die due to their own powerlessness, while all Vegeta had to say for people to be fine with it is "Yeah my training was tough". Seems kinda unfair to include him on the side of Goku and Future Trunks in the debate of who cheapened the transformation.
@@machine1685 Vegeta's entire planet was destroyed. Every ounce of his pride had been tooken from him. He had been thrown to the ground and spit upon by frieza. He had nothing left and he broke.

Now, if he had cited those mental anguishes as the catalyst for transforming, youd be correct. But he didn't. His explanation was grounded in physical exertion. Even the anime filler scene had nothing to do with his mental state outside of him not caring about transforming. As far as canon goes, Vegeta just got SSJ without the sacrifices or effort that Goku, Gohan, and Trunks had to endure to achieve it

"I endured a training from hell. Then I ran into a wall- my own limits. In the rage I felt towards myself, I awoke... into a Super Saiyan!!!"
Vegeta tells us outright that it was his own limits that were the catalyst. No mention of Saiyan pride, no mention of Frieza, nothing. Even the anime followed a similar througline, with Vegeta being frustrated that he couldn't transform and only transforming after he gave up hope and only wanted to survive. Vegeta transformed out of frustration towards his limits.
But this is all besides the point that he transformed off-screen/panel. Just like Goten, Trunks, Caulifla and Kale in the Super manga. At least Goten has the excuse of his Father having the ability to go Super Saiyan during his conception, thus having inherited his abundance of S-Cells (still hate this concept).

I feel like after seeing some people talking about stuff like this and how kale and caulifla pulling the multiple super saiyan transformations out of nowhere, Toriyama fixed it in the form of broly.
1 broly was trained by his dad for decades fighting hostile monsters and surviving in dangerous terrain
2 Toriyama included a bit about the great ape and that Paragus had to remove it to stop him from going great ape constantly
3 broly was able to go super saiyan after seeing his dad killed, a traumatic event that skyrocketed his already absurd anger, the trigger for super saiyan after undergoing intense training to get to that level, not getting a tingly feeling in your back
4 broly was able to gradually go up against super saiyan blue eventually because of his massive untapped power reserve, he only lacked advanced combat training and began learning in his fight with vegeta
@CogentPhilosopher because they are boosted way too much. It doesnt make sense that they are stronger than vegeto blue despite either of them not even being on par with ssj3 goku.

That strength is a bit too exaggerated in my opinion. And the main reason as to why they are that strong is just because they can be. Its just like jiren which is one of many reasons why i dont like him as a character. I forgot what happened directly after, but the fact that she got jiren's attention says something of how powerful she is. No matter how you look at it, these saiyans are too powerful for just becoming super saiyans. At least when goten and trunks did it, they weren't insanely overpowered. Despite going ssj3 as gotenks, they were weaker than gohan and goku, but yet kefla at BASE is able to eclipse goku in GOD form. It doesnt matter if goku was seemingly exhausted, when he went god form he was able to run circles around both of them when they were split up and his god form doesnt really decrease his power. She was tanking blows from UI omen and roshi even said goku would be done for if he got hit by one of kefla's attacks.

To further the point of everyone going through something heavy and pushing to their character, even Cabba was pushed. Vegeta sat there and threatened to annihilate his entire race and home, starting with his entire family. Cabba, who was a super nice dude, even to the point of showing utmost respect and honor towards Vegeta during the fight, had to be threatened with his race's demise to go Super Saiyan. Even Cabba earned it a lot better than these two did.

__It was stated in Episode 115 by Champa, Vados, and Whis that Goku was heavily drained of stamina. You know, due to nearly dying from that Genki Dama and using Ultra Instinct for the first time against Jiren, then getting blasted away from him as well. Though Freeza gave Goku some of his energy, it was only enough for him to stay on his toes. The man still had his injuries and it was going to take a while for him to regain his energy.
Now, you know that 1 to 2 minutes takes about an entire episode in this show, so he did not have enough time to regain his power. The fact that Goku, heavily drained in SSJ2, was able to keep up with a fully energized SSJ2 Caulifla and Legendary SSJ Kale was a feat in and of itself. He was forced to turn SSJG because his tired SSJ2 form wasn’t getting him anywhere. Super Saiyan God is a tier of power light years above a regular Super Saiyan 2.
Now on Kefla’s case. The show made her seem way stronger than she actually was but that was far from the truth. Numerous times it was stated by the gods that Goku could have taken an SSJ Kefla at his God state. The only reason why she could take out SSB Kaioken was 1) He was already almost out of stamina powering up to Kaioken so he was about to drop out of that state, which Beerus himself said and 2) She caught him off guard with the kick to his head.
But how can they even damage him even if he is very tried

what happened after goku fought cell? the exact same thing happened to goku after jiren. he was that injured, tired, and out of energy. he couldn’t even kill a cell jr which was proportional to cell’s power. remember what happened to jiren after he fought goku? he was so wiped out that he could be damaged by an injured SS1 goku. thats why fatigue is so important in scaling

I'm not an all knowing DB fan but at least Goten and Trunks were not as strong their father's but are way stronger than what Goku and Vegeta were as a child. And the reason that Universe 6 Saiyans being stronger just because they grew up in a less hostile environment sounds stupid considering Universe 7 Saiyans were always in a fight so it makes sense for them to be stronger. Battles give experience and growth not the other way around.

it was stated that base cabba was as strong as base vegeta. he went to find some one stronger than him to fight which was caulifla. she couldn't achieve super sayian through rage and achieved it through focus which allowed her the same ssj2 as gohan v cell (while being as strong or stronger than base vegeta). kale was just the legendary super sayian jer power never stopped increasing. as for the God ki argument trunks looks like a berserk sayian and his hair looks a little greener v zamasu. it would make sense that if ssg and legendary both came from legend the powers are related
