Also notice that Jiren didn't leave his meditation until goku triggered UI. Even when those two(kale and caulifa) used the potara, Jiren didn't budge. So the comment about goku's attacks being to weak are also in question, seeing as while in UI state, Goku was able to temporarily go toe to toe with Jiren. This whole thing smells like feminism.

my guy u pretty much described the t.o.p. arc in a nutshell. i mean Jiren was broken, hit who was op in universe 6 arc is now just getting clapped and ultra instant shows up with barely any context except for that one line from his, and zeno is literally a child with the power to kill every one. the old new characters are neglected and they just cheated the smol kids out of a good learning experience and an amazing tournament. this show cheated so many characters but at the same time It did one thing right, the broly movie

It goes both ways. all the Super fans I talked to are completely oblivious to what happened and established in DB/Z or defend the shitty writting of the series.
I wrote recently with few people that still defend Roshi being a better choice over Goten and Trunks because experience and mafuba, besides ignoring that the power creep was so huge that all the experience of Roshi would be useless against opponents such as the Saiyans or Buu.
There are also plenty of haters that have valid points. Most of them are still watching Super, because they want it to be good. Hail Zeon is one of them. He despites Super but he admits when it does shit right.

Goten and Trunks are individually a better choice over Roshi. They are also better choice over Krillin and Tien. Having no personally that would work doesn't matter. It would be great to actually develop those shitty characters so people can enjoy them for once.

Dragonage2ftw Universal fusion wouldn't be a bad way to end this arc. As for the Yardy and Tuffle, I have no real opinions on that. The anime hasn't addressed them really and I doubt they'll explain why to races from U7 are in U2. Maybe Toyotaro will make it a bigger deal in his manga, assuming he doesn't create unique characters independent of the anime to participate in the tournament instead.
As of now there are only two good things to come out of both races imo, the clothing and instantaneous movement from Yardrat. Baby and Hatchiyack from Tuffles.
M3rtyville I have to agree with this. Goten and a Trunks need some fleshing out and considering they're both eons stronger than the human characters, there's really no excuse for them to not be here. Gotenks would be a great ally to have in this tournament as well. He'd definitely get those annoying reaction shots that Toei is obsessed with.
I kinda wish we had Goten and Trunks in the tournament so we could see a kick ass fusion dance vs potara earrings battle where Gotenks could blindside Kefla with the ghost kamikaze attack so he can trap her with the galactic dounut or knocking her out with the volleyball attack.
That would have made me the happiest person alive if that happened

I really think Frieza should’ve fought the female saiyans and never have Kefla come into existence. That way, the fight vs them would’ve only lasted 3 episodes and it would actually give something Frieza to do instead of just picking off weak/tired characters.
Can I just say thank you for actually mentioning the "exhaustion" excuse being rather stupid! I DBZ, when a characters' energy has deflated to a certain point, their bodies usually automatically kicked them out of their ascended state. Case and point SSJ Goku vs #19 or SSJ3 Goku vs Kid Buu.
If Goku is somehow so exhausted at this point that he can lose to an opponent that logically should be astronomically weaker than he is then why doesn't the show display this by making it where he just cannot go SSG or SSB? Unless it really is trying to convince us that Kefla in her base actually is far stronger that SSG for whatever reason, because then the boost she would have received would have been much higher than the boost Vegito received against Buuhan. Something else people tend to forget, Vegito never fought Buuhan as his base form in the manga, he went straight to SSJ probably because he needed to. Afterwards you could say the difference in power wasn't unlike SSJ Goku vs 100% Freeza since Goku was dominating him in the manga unlike the anime.
I swear Toyotaro better do a better job at this when his time comes around...

No we saw the fight against Goku and Vegeta against Hit. Clearly it does. I can't say the same for SSG since the anime only brought it back to copy the manga.
Anyone that even tries to claim that BS did not watch the Kid Buu fight. If exhaustion was such a crutch there (realistically) because kid Buu has near infinite stamina due to his durability, and Goku couldn't even hold an SS form after SS3 wasted him, how the hell is it in Super he can go SSB yet still be exhausted? And if SSB has a heavier drain than SS3 (which is stupid because it contradicts ki control and mastery of SS) then how can he go blue but not sustain SS3? And when the hell did an characer ever gain stamina by fighting? Then why ever have sensu beans? Sounds pretty broken. It makes Goku's own ki seem infinite. Then when knocked out he can go UI over a kick to the head? Then reset?

Fusion has always given the user way more power than expected, remember the gap in power between Super Buu & Vegito and also between Omega Shinron & SSJ4 Gogeta, they could have ended the fight in one blow
This is correct. If we pretend like Base Gogeta is allowed to be above that of Super Saiyan Blue level of Goku and Vegeta, Kefla being this strong makes sense. The real issue is Caulifla, Kale, and Cabba being that strong. Even then they don’t compare to the bs that is Broly.
You forgot to mention that in the beginning Goku was beating her Super Saiyan 2 form with his injured base form. Which makes even less sense that Goku needed to go Ultra Instinct to beat Kefla. Ultra Instinct, a form that he has only had for twenty minutes. Caulifa and Kale couldn't even go Super Saiyan 2 until this tournament. So the power Goku and Vegeta took decades to achieve, only took Kefla a fucking half an hour to obtain. I can look the other way on shit, obviously, I'm a Dragonball fan, but fucking come on Toriyama. If those bitches get wished back with Dragonballs, which is totally going to happen come now, they are going to be able to fuck up the two Zenos in a week.

I honestly don't mind Kefla overpowering SSJG especially a weakened one. But thats only because Brolina walked through a SSJB Kamehameha which was bullshit and I think the writters retconned that because of the backlash.
But I still think episode which introduced Kefla was trash. Brolina losing control again so we get this fake as fuck emotional scene which was resolved immediately pissed me off so much, that I put this episode to the top of my worst Super episodes list. There were also other reasons but there is no need to get more into details.
Kefla's design is good enough, but I disliked how her introduction was ruined by dialog which repeated her name 3 times and that her power is limitless 3 times. I thought that was funny since despite being limitless in power in her base form, she was about even in SSJ form with SSJB kaioken. Gotta love how Super contradict itself so much.
I don't remember the last episode, since I fell asleep watching it. There was to much exposition by Whis, Piccolo etc. Everybody needed to explain what is going on instead of "Telling by showing".
But I am glad there was no SSJ3 for them nor Vegito fan service with him going through all of his SSJ forms during battle. I wouldn't mind if we see Vegito vs Jiren but I doubt that will happen since the show builds up UI Goku vs Jiren. If anything, Vegito will likely not defeat him nor use UI against Jiren.

I also agreed about your points with DBS. As much as I find some enjoyment in the show, it's more spectacle than substance now. Which is very disappointing because Super does have some cool ideas. Unfortunately, the writers are either too lazy or scatterbrain to properly write character development and plot lines to supply us awesome payoff. DBS only focuses on the pretty colorful transformations and 'cool' battles. If only they had some context in them, the show could have been legendary.
Gohan is the team leader but hasn't done shit in a long time. Hes also the leader but nobody listens to him, and he is the one taking orders from Piccolo and hiding behind him. Its so dumb.

Because "canon" is meaningless in Dragon Ball Super. The only things that are canon are whatever happens in both the anime and manga, which are the things from Toriyama's notes. The anime has bullshit where Goku needs UI for Kefla and the manga has bullshit like UI Muten Roshi against Jiren. Dragon Ball Super is a hot mess.

If Goku was so exhausted as this show claims, how is he able to magically regain stamina and access Super Saiyan God/Blue while expending more energy through fighting. When did he rest? How was his stamina going up instead of down, even if he was holding back at first? Look at Goku vs Android 19 or Goku vs Kid Buu. Those examples are what happens when you get tired in a fight.

The reason is that at the end of episode 114, we were introduced to Kefla and I was like "Fuck this shit, I'm going on a hiatus!!" I'm currently streaming the episode where Kefla fights goku. I believe Goku was fighting them together to train them and to figure out how to trigger UI. Once he felt they wouldn't do, he went to ring them out. After they fused, he saw another opportunity to trigger and control UI.

Kale and caulifla were bullshit already, so their fusion had to be super duper bullshit. And to get this straight. Let's suppose kale and caulifla have the same power level (probably not true but just to simplify things). The fusion adds their power together and it multiplies them by 10 times. Well, that means kefla is about 20 times stronger than kale or caulifla, so that should equal to goku's kaioken x20 IN HIS BASE FORM, yet kefla in her base form was whipping the floor with SUPER SAIYAN GOD GOKU (remember, regular super saiyan multiplier is x50). Fusions may be cool, but man they are far stronger than what they should be.
DBS T.O.P. Power scaling is bullshit since Kefla but still outmatched by super bullshit ones from SDBH’s.
Shit on old characters that has no power scaling and makes it have no tension since characters can just be as powerful as they need to be without any actual explanation/past training

Yeah, I pronounced it KAY-fla 3 years ago. I've long since corrected my pronunciation of her name, though the name is a bit weird. "Kefla" is a fusion of the names "Kale" and "Caulifla," but what does the "E" in "Kefla" represent? Is it representing the "E" in "Kale?" Considering the placement of the "E" in "Kale" vs the placement of it in "Kefla," it doesn't make sense. "Kafla" would have been a better fusion of their names.
What's stupid is that the game dragon ball z battle of Z is the point of this arc working remember that one mission with the tournament stage it was so unfun because random characters come out of nowhere attack and take opponents out of the ring. This arc is more bad than good.

Few things...I do agree, lot of Kefla is BS like her two sums. Also she's a 10x powered Legendary SSJ2 (MAXIMUM POWA). And doesn't matter if she has a better drawn toned body worth risking breaking your dick in, she's not a good character (better than dealing with the two separate parts though). And the whole thing with Zeno...who do you think Zeno is meant to represent? Zeno IS the viewer, WE are the Zeno (or rather fanboys). And as cool the moves and attacks are, other series has rules on such stuff and follow them. So now on top of this "tournament" having low 'stakes' (since everyone is taking it as a joke), it's full of JOBBERS at that (not even 1 or 2 that are super standout strong characters), and there's no real set of rules or boundaries 'because it looks cool.'
I can come up with some head-cannon about how SSJG Goku is able to fight Beerus because he uses God Ki opposed to regular Ki...but it's just head-cannon. Also, Goku got energy from Frieza, so shouldn't that work almost like a Senzu minus wound healing? Using ki to transfer to others. But SSJG does save on stamina more than Blue form...as told in the manga, so we don't know if it does here. So much for perfect ki control. The whole point of those 2 to stay in the tournament WAS to help Goku better 'train' Ultra Instinct, I made this call earlier moment I UI first ended and Jiren wasn't beaten. It makes sense considering Goku let Caulifa walk off and how Jiren didn't blast Kale off first (and should've been the only chance) he had.
Dragonball has never had the best story, especially since it's Goku resolving things in the end and pretty much on his own. The others just be there for padding. The whole thing boils down to DBS puts Super in Superficial...flashy action and techniques, but no real substance. It's because of flashy stuff like that and the cool fights that bring in even some of the more skeptic of people to liking it, but like with Future Trunks cutting fused Zamatsu in 2, there's no real setup, it just kinda happens.

Dragon Ball Z kai episode 267 explains why that fusion was so powerful. the elder kai stated when he gave goku his life and earrings that if he and his counterpart power up before fusion, they cant power down. the power will keep going up. another thing is the fusion is permanent.
when you see one kale took on SS Blue /God and smashed goku as her power kept going up just like Browly. until a stronger fighter put her to sleep. when Caulifa fights, she gets smarter as she fights goku and she can keep powering up just as she did when she became SS2 within the few minutes of the tournament.

Kefla actually isn't bullshit. If you hate Kefla then you have to hate Vegito. Let me explain.
Goku and Vegeta were getting their asses handed to them by Buuhan (Gohan Absorbed Super Buu). Not only was regular Super Buu already more than a match for SSJ3 Goku, but Gohan was the strongest unfused character in Z! After absorbing him, Buuhan got to a level Goku and Vegeta could never beat!
The Majin was toying with the two...then they fused and just fucked around with him casually in base form.

As for them being Mary Sue characters... No, no they aren't. A Mary Sue is defined as a character in which everything comes easy to that character. Sure, Caulifla started out that way, but now she's shown legitimate struggles against Goku (while he was weakened and she was fine, mind you). Another thing that goes under the "Mary Sue" description is that they have no definable personalities and everyone likes them.
It's clear not everyone in the show likes them, and they clearly have definable characteristics. The two of them show legitimate struggle in the tournament of power. And lets be honest, the only reason they had Caulifla attain SSJ and SSJ2 so easily was so she could at least have some shred a chance in a fight against Goku.
I personally like Caulifla and Kale. I'm not blind to the fact that Caulifla was a train wreck in the beginning, but when the tournament of power hit, she's shown nothing that makes her a Mary Sue. Her first battle against Goku was just the two of them fucking around, Goku clearly wasn't trying at all, and was winning, so you can't use that argument. And in their rematch, Goku was worn out and he was STILL winning against Caulifla! Don't you come to me and say that she's a "Mary Sue".
What about Kale? Alright, ima say this. Kale has a SSJ form that we've NEVER SEEN. I don't care how much she looks like Broly, she's not Broly. So we have to look at the power she has, and accept it. Now, if her berserker form lost to a regular SSJ, then later beat fucking UI, then you'd have a reason! But we've seen very little in the ToP, so don't you call Kale a Mary Sue either.
In short, people who hate on Kefla but LOVE Vegito are a bunch of hypocrites. Not gonna say EVERYONE is, but if you do love Vegito but hate Kefla for power scaling reasons then...You're just blind.
I actually think the reason that Vegito is welcomed and Kefla isn't.
Its because...
1. The Potaras weren't allowed to begin with.
2. Goku & Vegeta have so much more experience in fighting, that there combined power and fight intelligence exceded Super Buu(Gohan absorbed).
3. Caulifla & Kale have no real battle experience. Yet they still manages to become as strong as Goku in less then 40 mins.
4. Cabba said that the saiyans in his universe were kind people. Not like the saiyans in Universe 7. Still makes Caulifla an arrogant bitch and somewhat of a "savage", just because they (the writers) tought it would be fitting for female saiyans to be as dominant as their saiyan counterparts. Which completely ignores the whole point of what Cabba said.
5. Also, this whole sister incest relationship they have going on is a total frustration & annoying as fuck.
6. Also why did they give Kale a berseker mode? Thats exactly like Broly, which is wrong since that they are opposing universes!
7. Even Caulifla, her character design is all designed for her to portray "Badass,mouthy,arrogant,cocky female saiyan"

1. There never should've been three! Caulifla should've been the only universe 6 Saiyan that was in the tournament. Kale and Cabba should've never been in the series.Only having just Caulifla would've gave her character more developmental time to flesh her story out and make the fans a fan of her.
2. Caulifla and Kales personalities are terrible! Yuri anime doesn't have a place in the franchise or any franchise, Yuri anime is the worst. Caulifla's hood rat gangster background is just ridiculous and Kale's mentally damaged personality is completely repugnant and Cabba's beta male wimp personality is just demeaning. Why emasculate Cabba just to give more emphasis on Kale and Caulifla's characters? This point just shows how weak Kale's and Caulifla's characters' are. A writer shouldn't have to belittle a character just to make the other characters feel more important, and if this is the case why even create cabba in the first place if all the series wants us to do is forget about him? Caulifla should've had Cabba's story as her biography. Kale and Caulifla were grouped together only because their personalities are so weak and still even as a duo they lack anything relatable or sympathetic.
3. Caulifla should've been more physically mature and represented as a young adult female with a still Very feminine yet ripped physique. Why you ask? For the Goku X Caulifla love stories of course!
Seriously tho, not that anything like that's going to happen, but isn't this series drawn by artist that emphasizes on ideal masculinity? Not only physically but also mentally. Goku and Vegeta are the two dynamics of the picturesque ideal masculine male. Not only being stern, focused and disciplined, but also being compassionate, tender, pure and forgiving. Why shouldn't the same be for any main female character in the series? A feminine character that doesn't only look like the picturesque and beautiful woman but also contains the virtues that make women so lovable. Kindness, nurturing, empathy, motherly, caring, protective, but also even weakness can be a positive feminine virtue. How many animes have you've seen where a female protagonist weakness actually hardened their male counterparts resolve to fight harder, many in my experience. This was even the case with Vegeta and Cabba. The sole reason Vegeta was trying his best was for Cabba....Which kinda made it weird. But once again this is why Cabba should've never existed in the first place and his bio should've been Caulifla's instead.
4. Compassion. The one thing Kale and Caulifla lacked entirely outside personality was compassion. Caulifla character is the female embodiment of Gotenks. Overly confident and extremely annoying. Kale doesn't have a character her character is absolute dependency with her sister. I would've loved to see an alliance with Goku and Caulifla after a fight between her and him. Caulifla should've never reached super Saiyan until she finally had her fight with Goku in my opinion either on the 6v7 tournament or the tournament of Power. Of course, the fight wouldn't be brutal it would've been Goku letting her hit him and trying to push her harder and harder until she was in a desperate situation brought on upon her by Goku giving her a little too much damage. Goku sharing some Ki energy with her after feeling terrible for hurting her would share too much Ki which makes her into a Super Saiyan.
This moment would've changed Caulifla's perspective on Goku because not only has Caulifla become a Super Saiyan, but Goku's Ki gave her the ability to see his aura which makes Goku shine in an angelic glow and this visage makes tears come to her eyes. Realizing that Goku isn't evil and never wanted to destroy the multiverse but, in fact, was a compassionate pure hearted soul. Goku then shares his intentions on saving all the universes after he wins the tournament and promises to help her reach her full potential Then Goku would ask for her friendship and ask her to help him in the tournament. At this moment Caulifla would've joined the universe 7 Z-warriors in the effort to save the multiverse.
This type story would've been much more compassionate and granted Caulifla a solid stable in the series and made her character way more agreeable. Hell goku later on in the tournament could've even gave her even more Ki energy to the point that she evolved into a Super Saiyan 2 and I wouldn't dare say that was Mary Sueish, it actually seems fitting to the lore.
How to fix the damage that's already done what to do in the future to save the characters
The story has already been written and the damage has already been done, so how should it be fixed? Of course that's up to Akira Toriyama and his bad writing. The only thing I can see fixing this situation without out right destroying planet Sadala is the three Saiyan's losing their powers completely. It should be explained that Champa and Vados directly intervened with a scheme to make their fighters stronger prior to the tournament between 6-7 and the Tournament of Power and it should be explained the power bestowed unto them was a temporary one, or Champa and Vados forcefully take the power away from them because of some slight given to them by the Saiyans. Without their powers the Saiyans are hellbent on having their powers returned to them and go on the hero's journey to return the lost power. And perhaps during this journey the three Saiyans finally overcome their individual weaknesses and character flaws.
Honestly tho, if something like this doesn't happen for them their characters will be forever hated by Dragon Ball fans and their Characters will be discarded just like Goten and Trunks, which would be unfortunate, because if there isn't any change with their characters to some extreme measure like I stated above like losing their powers the actual Dragon Ball fans will probably never see a strong female protagonist within the DB universe which the anime and manga will benefit for having even if this is a Shonen. Female protagonist are all over Shonen animes DB for some reason is still holding out on this.
I seriously want a strong compassionate female in the Z-Fighters I just don't think it's gonna be anyone from universe 6.
