Very good job, good explanation but I don't know why you connect contactor. You can do same job with out contactor and many other controls with u can do with contactor like NO and NC.
As I see neutral for bulb u connect together on A2 and LINE for bulb you connect on A1 together (for contactor run and bulb).
As you mention this schematic is totally wrong. It works because he uses the contactor as simple wire connector ( WOW) to the lamp. A1 and A2 ( relay) are there to steer contactor. but are not used to steer. L1-T1 etc are there to be connected to lamp or consumer. NO means Normally Open , NC means Normally Closed when not powered.
I need a miniature Battery Pack to hook up to this system. Do you have any recommendations?
If am ti apply this in automatic change over system for off an on of generator which sources of electrical supply am to use to engize the wifi controller?

Good morning! It appears that it is no longer possible to buy a Wi-Fi controller with S1/S2 output. However, I have come across some controllers with L/N input and L/N output only. I'm wondering what the wiring method is for connecting the S2 to the contactor. Should I connect the L output to the contactor? Thank you in advance for your assistance. Great video.
yes you have to connect L output to the Contactor A1 Terminal and (if you like you can use N output also, you can connect that to contactor A2 Terminal)

The contactor is completely unnecesary and is a 3 pole contactor for 3 fase AC current. The contactor is used as wire connector. Hahahahaha Completely wrong schematic. Of course it works but the contactor is in for NOTHING. Steering the contactor is done at the right hand side.... This is fun to see someone explaining something that he clearly does not understand himself.
To turn ON & OFF Motor or any Heavy load we have to use Contactor so u have connected that.
The lamp is only to show that contactor is ON or not
@@TheElectricalGuy Your contactor is totally wrong wired. Remove all wires . Connect lower 'N 'from Wifi switch to Lower 'A2' from contactor ( relay spool ). Connect NO ( means Normally Open) from -Wifi switch to upper right screw A1 of contactor. Connect the lanp between L1-T1 or L2-T2 or L3-T3 . I'm sorry but you're clearly not an expert in electricity. Even if you put a heavy load ( can be 3 phase) NOT a milliampère is going through the contactor in your example. The contactor is there for decoration. The electrical guy?? I don't think so.
