It would have been good to see what load center (breaker box) this fits into and how it fit in the breaker box. I assume this isn't laying around on a table as you have it in your video
What does it mrsn exactly thst the ground goes back to electrical panel? Should i just connect the ground cables together? My model has a little circle copper, what to do with it?
Is there a backup battery in the breaker? Where I live we have a lots of power interruptions so I don’t want to make a setup of the breaker after every blackout.
Even having a backup battery wouldn't help, because the device relies on WiFi to connect to your smart phone, and the router needs uninterrupted power.
@@yulinyulin9269 he's asking AFTER the blackout, if the breaker will maintain the configuration or if it would be reset to factory settings every time the power is cut off
Hi, Thanks for the useful video. Do you know of a related device that could monitor the power use on a different consumer unit (using a CT clamp) and if the power is over a pre-configured threshold it can control the state of a smart breaker in a separate consumer unit? Obviously both devices would be connected by the internet but maybe not on the same wifi network...
A single pole that breaks only the live with a neutral flylead is also available. Obviously your wifi router will need to be on a circuit either protected by a regular mcb or have it powered by a ups so that you always have wifi irrespective of what the mains power supply situation.
I would like to know if this device can help me. I have a water pump feeding the house ,if the water line is broken after the water pump, the water from the tanks will be pumped out until there is none left and the water pump will overheat and possibly damaged. I am thinking if this 'smart switch' can cut power off after 10-20 minutes after turning on.
The app smartlife seems to be one of the best functions - automation and external intergrate with Alexa and Google Assist as well as IFTTT. I’m pretty sure you can make it do whatever you wanted... these WiFi switches and isolators function via what the app is set to.
These are completely useless ! When the circuit braker activates or being activated your wifi is out as well . Now you are also out of luck since you cant turn it back on remotely without your home wifi signal .Rendering the device useless .... FAIL !
@@bcoolradios9765 you can twist it turn it whatever way you like it . This is a circuit breaker when the circuit is broken the wifi is cut . Thats a blackout . End of story
@@bcoolradios9765 please ! ....; We are.talking about a circuit breaker . when the breaker is tripped no electricity can flow . Hola, una pregunta si hay una interrupción de suministro electrico se pierde la configuración wifi
Can I replace the existing breakers with Tuya breakers in the same panel?
I see its got two switches on one breaker...but it seems to only control one electrical connection. Is that correct?
Yes only one. Connections are for the neutral cable and the live cable

Thanks for the video, unfortunately it's not a differential ..so i doesn't protect by current dispersion.
Nice
bought the 20a breaker for my 4kwa boiler and its not working
You need to know how many amps the boiler requires.
20a will only work for 240v power. If on 110v you will need 35-40a
What if indicator light is not flashing?
Have same problem... You solved this problem? Regards
Have the same problem here :(
My light is not flashing too. It has power but so it cant connect
Have same problem... You solved this problem? Regards
It has 2 mode to pair in your app, so your case is another mode maybe 😅
Same problem
Can you help my to instal because no Light for me ? By whatsapp for vidéo problème ?

not for the main house circuit breaker, that would be silly to power off the whole houses 200 Amps main breaker, and dangerous too LOL
