    hi, if I program the switching on/off in case of no internet, does the switch still carry out the set commands?

    can the scheduled on and off time still work even when the device is not connected to wifi? provided it was already configured with the desired time.

    Το Smart switch με Power metering μπορει να μπει πριν τον διακόπτη του θερμοσίφωνα και να χρησιμοποιηθεί ως χρονοδιακόπτης πατώντας το ON button που έχει;

    Can it used as energy monitor if connected to main circuit breaker?

    If one wants to flash the chip inside these circuit breakers and switches (to replace the original Tuya or eWeLink firmware with Tasmota, for example): are these modules assembled with rivets or regular screws? In other words, can they be opened and closed easily and in a clean way?

    • @PoseidwnTech
      @PoseidwnTech  Год назад

      These circuit breakers use rivets so it is not so easy to flash them.

    • @fluxcapacitor
      @fluxcapacitor Год назад

      @@PoseidwnTech Yes. However since then, I've read over Github and the Tasmota Supported Devices Repository that while most of these DIN Wi-Fi contactors use rivets indeed, a few of them (particularly some 2P and 4P versions) uses screws and/or clips instead. YMMV.

    Does the device reconnect automatically with the Wi-Fi if the Wi-Fi restarts for any reason?

    hi, I wanted to ask you for advice, maybe you can help me, I configured the metering on smart life and it works well it measures the current, the home assistant recognizes it as a switch and therefore does not give me the metering, do you know how I can solve it?

    I see on the second breaker, there’s no neutral running up from bottom … can you use this device to start/stop just the LIVE? As I have a neutral bus and an earth bus inside the DB unit.

      Did you ever come right with this?

    • @JDAfrica
      @JDAfrica 3 месяца назад

      @@chefbob09 I did indeed. I used 2 of these wireless tuya switches to control a DB at my pool, with one breaker for the pool area. 1 breaker for garden lights and internal pool light , and a second breaker for the pool motor.
      It means that if I wanted to, u can set up daily or seasonal schedules - or control remotely when away. You can also use Google home assistant and control based on values like temperature, sunset etc…
      I also added a wireless module for my additional security lighting - ie: perimeter outside lighting. And a wireless unit for towel warmers (those bar heaters), to make the towels toasty warm in winter.

    Καλησπέρα! Στην ασφάλεια με μετρητή και Wi-Fi, την μαύρη δηλαδή, πώς μπορώ να κάνω ρύθμιση: όταν καποιος πατάει το κουμπί από τον πίνακα, μετά από πχ 30 λεπτά να σβήνει αυτόματα πάντα. Σαν κανόνα.

    Hi, Thanks for the useful video.
    Do you know of a related device that could monitor the power use on a different consumer unit (using a CT clamp) and if the power is over a pre-configured threshold it can control the state of a smart breaker in a separate consumer unit? Obviously both devices would be connected by the internet but maybe not on the same wifi network...

    Do you have to pay a subscription to get the consumption monitoring

    • @PoseidwnTech

      Tuya integration requires cloud but you can always use the local Tuya integration from HACS which does not.

    felicidadades que bien organizada está la info en tu video. me queda la duda de cómo apareció la info del sensor ( conusumo de energía) al verlos en HA? hiciste algún paso especial? hay forma de entrar en contacto contigo, tengo algunos circuit breakers con tuya que me gustaría tener esa lectura de consumo de los mismos. gracias

      En general cuando tienes la integración de Tuya 3n home assistant aparecen solos los nuevos dispositivos, no hay que hacer nada.

    A bit misinforming video. On my model "tuya TO-Q-SY1-JWT" you have to press ON button for 5+ seconds before blue light starts flashing (pairing mode). In your video pairing was started automatically. And stupid tuya cannot even write plain English instruction how to properly setup device! I eventually found info about "press and hold button" 🤦
