Thank you so much for this detailed review
My pleasure 😊
Great Video ! Could
You please post a link where you buy or get the testing board shown in the video ! Looks interesting but couldn’t find similar anywhere
Hi, Thanks for the useful video.
Do you know of a related device that could monitor the power use on a different consumer unit (using a CT clamp) and if the power is over a pre-configured threshold it can control the state of a smart breaker in a separate consumer unit? Obviously both devices would be connected by the internet but maybe not on the same wifi network...
I see on the second breaker, there’s no neutral running up from bottom … can you use this device to start/stop just the LIVE? As I have a neutral bus and an earth bus inside the DB unit.
Hi, I got my main switches MCB and circuit breakers are RCCB and RCBO. Can I use the above for these all with corrdct amps?
hi, I wanted to ask you for advice, maybe you can help me, I configured the metering on smart life and it works well it measures the current, the home assistant recognizes it as a switch and therefore does not give me the metering, do you know how I can solve it?
What happens with the button-models, when there's power comes back on after an outage?
Can it used as energy monitor if connected to main circuit breaker?
Do you have to pay a subscription to get the consumption monitoring
Thanks.
Does the device reconnect automatically with the Wi-Fi if the Wi-Fi restarts for any reason?
Hallo, kann das Gerät in in zwei Richtungen zählen?
Can we add the smart circuit breaker to more than one Mobil phone?
CAN I PLACE THE CIRCUIT BREAKER AS THE MAIN HOUSE breaker?
If one wants to flash the chip inside these circuit breakers and switches (to replace the original Tuya or eWeLink firmware with Tasmota, for example): are these modules assembled with rivets or regular screws? In other words, can they be opened and closed easily and in a clean way?
These circuit breakers use rivets so it is not so easy to flash them.
@@PoseidwnTech Yes. However since then, I've read over Github and the Tasmota Supported Devices Repository that while most of these DIN Wi-Fi contactors use rivets indeed, a few of them (particularly some 2P and 4P versions) uses screws and/or clips instead. YMMV.
Do these meet EU regulations?
Tuya on Home Assistant need a cloud? or can work offline?
Tuya integration requires cloud but you can always use the local Tuya integration from HACS which does not.
You can download energy consumption information
Smart MCB can’t be used at home since is curve C not curve B!
How safe are these Chinese electrical devices
Not very.
