Its the fact that there are 31 kits and this video is 31 minutes long is SO AMAZING.
amazing and terrifying at the same time, we're about to have a whole minecraft stack of kits by the time sims 5 comes around
Omg you’re right!!
@@lourencovieira5424 lmao true😭
hehehe super simmer brain
The fact that there are $155 worth of kits 😵
And they never go on sale! I know a few have been free but still...
Oof I recalculated with tax based on a comment $165.85 USD
I was gonna say its shocking but its EA so nevermind 😭
31x4.49=139.19
31 kits
4.49 for each kit
that's appalling omg
@@godboblog Kits are 4.99
It’s the lack of ever going on sale that annoys me most. I’ve literally never bought one for this reason when there’s a few I probably would’ve picked up in a sale 😒
I would really like a bohemian kit tbh. Some more string lights, pillows, plants, and beds would look really nice in a boho aesthetics
I want a kit that is just pillows, string lights and throw blankets.
Modders can make them, why can't EA?
@boredsoul3490 Exactly my thoughts 🙌 I just want my sims to be COZY!
high school years has some cute boho items!!!! there is a cute boho esque double and single bed, some lights under some fabric, a curtain that is cute and boho, cute wicker egg chair that matches the bed, another little chair that matches, and a little wicker basket (I can't remember if it is decor or a trashcan lol). I just wanted to let you know just in case you didn't know about it. I want more options for this though too I love the cozy warm look in the sims!
@@addyl6582 I love the high-school years furniture soooo much! It gave me a taste of what true boho furniture should be like in the game!
I would also suggest the laundry day and tiny living stuff pack. They have some boho-esque decor, too!
It’s really niche, but I want a musical kit. Something with instruments, maybe a musical trait or something. I love using the violin, piano and guitar but I would DIE for some instruments like a cello, a sax UGHHH
I've always wanted the same thing lol. I doubt we'd get it out of a kit tho... Probably a game pack. But a game pack could do bands as well which could be fun 🤔
If they did a kit in this theme, it would probably just be reskins of the existing instruments... Which is almost tempting, but I'd love more instruments overall :)
A saxophone would be SUCH a good edition, especially with the vibes of the previous bistro kit. My want for more 1920s vaudeville eque stuff rises everyday (it’s too specific and old timely, I’m not crossing my fingers lmao)
I forget if it was 2 or 3 where you could be in a band and everyone would play a different instrument. So a music stuff pack or game pack would be great.
not as a kit, it should be a stuff pack at LEAST imo
I want them to make a Band Kit so bad! With instruments such as a Drumkit!!! or trumpets, electric guitars or even a bass and then we could use the club system and make bands it would be so cool 🥲🥲 (I really need that drumkit hahah)
Omg true. How do we not have a drum kit yet?? 😂
What a great idea! It would be better as a stuff pack, because a job as a music teacher could be SO fun too❤
YES, if we ever get another gameplay kit I 100% want a drum set and the ability to form bands
I love the disparity between CAS kits basically having to be used on every character to ever be made to land higher than decent, but then it's "you can 100% make a greenhouse without this kit, but this bag of soil tells a sTorY~ essential!" Hilarious. But at least she's always honest about her priorities! Love it. /lh
I've been putting greenhouse stuff in most of my sims houses because the greenhouse stuff is SO GOOD tbh
@@andpeggy3987 i use the greenhouse doors and windows so often
Yes😂 also ofc pastel pop kit is at the top even tho she used it like 3 times when it came out and it’s one of the most niche kit out there. This is my opinion ofc, we love kayla either way
@@nerodiseppia99 theres a lot of subtle items in there that she uses all the time lmao. niche to you but she's definitely used it more than 3 times.
Sorry for the silly question, but what does the /lh mean? I tried googling but it didn’t help
Something I think Kayla’s forgetting is that people who prefer CAS are more likely to download lots off the gallery and the ones that look the best imo are the ones that are all cluttered and cute!
This is a great point! I use the gallery a lot if I'm feeling lazy- both for sims & lots. It might be useful to see the ranking of most purchased kits in that case.
Kayla I need you to know that your top is one of the cutest things I've ever seen
i was literally just thinking this😭
lets be honest, Kayla herself is one of the cutest people to ever walk this earth
@@emmaclaire17 it's so cute 😍 it looks like she pulled it right out of the cottage living CAS lol
@@victoriasanderson3948 my exact thoughts!
@@victoriasanderson3948 Yesss!!! so accurate
Most necessary? Probably a kit exclusively full of new beds. What I want most? Lolita fashion kit! Its such a specific style you can't really make with anything in the game, and its really hard to find good maxis match cc for it
I dont know much about lolita fashion but that sounds so LOVELY! i want that now-
Agreed about a lolita kit! There are a couple things you can put together for a goth lolita-esque look but I would LOVE a kit or stuff pack that's lolita/Shinjuku/Harajuku inspired so we can have lolita and visual kei
YES! I tried making a character with that style a while ago and I could _not_ properly do it. I wanted her to be Goth Lolita, and I ended up using stuff like one of the frilly-ish old fashioned dresses from Cottage Living in a dark color and gave her black lace gloves and a hat with a mourning veil. A goth witch matriarch deserves better than that!
...the mourning veil may or may not have been foreshadowing, because she also ended up being my BLACK WIDOW Sim...
I would LOVE a Lolita kit
@@draxmiss loli =/= lolita, saying "loli" is real gross
Just a small thing I wanted to say but For Rent is actually mainly south east asian inspired (Thailand, Vietnam, etc.) not east asian. Most of the buildings in for rent are inspired by Thai architecture and a lot of the items are Thai & Vietnamese inspired! Many of the new sims have Thai & Vietnamese sounding names as well. As a Thai person it made me really happy to see!
i was going to say the same, i think people associate some of the items (squat toilets, rice cooker) with east asia and don’t realise south east asia is different. i loved getting some diversity for once!
same even though it wasnt super filipino inspired im still happy they included filo foods ;o
Yes I was going to comment this! I'm glad you said it.
This makes a lot of sense bc i think it weirdly matches a lot of brazilian vibes, and as far as i know south asia and latin america have a LOT in common culturally lmao
i just bought book nook and it reignited my love for building!! book nook is THAT girl and she came thru for me
You have just convinced me to buy my first ever kit!!
the party essentials kit should have really been a free refresh of luxury party stuff
YUP 🔥
I really want a landscaping kit with new plain bushes and trees, some nice garden decor and a modular hedge.
Omg imagine a hedge with functionality similar to the kitchen cabinets where the options are in a separate menu and you can do different pieces but they all slot together nicely!!!!!!
Uuuuh! That’s a good one !!
Agreeeeeeed❤
@@aacerr_oh that would be glorious
i think we NEED some art-focused clutter kit - paintbrushes in a jar, watercolour paints or just overall more stationary and stuff focused around painting and drawing. also could be fun if they made a pack with new instruments, probably would be smaller but still a nice additon. also, and i know it's a controversial one, a kit with more cat trees, dog beds and other pet accessories to fit more of today's style could be fun - i feel like the cats and dogs and my first pet stuff is kinda dated now and lacks a lot of cute pastel swatches. or some animals like lizards and snakes to actually keep as pets like in the sims 3!!
That’s such a good idea, omg, a little art studio kit ❤
I would like a kit based around death traditions. Like funerals and stuff that other cultures might do.
It can be another game play kit. 😂
I would like a whole new stuff pack for funerals
This is an AMAZING idea
I'd put a pin in it, people who are usually right about insider info have been teasing that the next EP will be death related. Even one of the sim guru's said it the other day in simsie's twitch chat.
Decor to the max peacock goes great with paired with the fountains from Romantic Garden. I've made some cool cemeteries with it
I immediately thought The Sims 1 homage as there is one in the OG game
This. I now need to do this. Thank you. 🙏🏻
The fact that you can’t bundle kits for something like 3/$12 is insane… $5 is so expensive considering stuff packs give you so much more for $4 more.
I was discussing CAS Kits with my boyfriend the other night and he was like “…… Caskets? Like for vampires and dead people?”
Every time Simsie says “Cas kit” I hear casket 😅
the one CAS kit I really want to see is a modesty dress kit bc it‘s so hard to dress hijabi with what we have and like muslim girls‘ fashion game is STRONG, I can‘t dress everyone in the same two sweaters 😭
I love Kayla deciding that some kits aren't easy to use in her day-to-day gameplay because her gameplay is Pure Chaos, no question asked. And like. For anything to be hard to use for her it's gotta be so out of the box it's in space
true!! that's an excellent point- if you can't fit it in unadulterated chaos, can you even fit it anywhere????
edit: typo
I think the thing with the Castle Estate Kit is that it's mainly useful for things that aren't castles. DevonBumpkin's Hanford on Bagley rebuild would look very different without it, and it's just that all those builds are old stone buildings in general.
That's a beautiful build, isn't it? I can't imagine how much time he put into that last video.
But when do we get the “Lilsimsie blue suburban” collab kit 😂
nah. that‘s an expansion pack
This is actually really helpful cuz I never know what packs to buy especially when it comes to kits!!!!!!!
Do you want a facial hair stuff pack or kit?
@@matthewboyajian9593 I mean there's other kits I'd probably want more
@@matthewboyajian9593what? I wouldn’t.. that would be so useless
fs clutter kits, book nook, greenhouse, blooming rooms and the luxe kits are the top ones
please make a build using only kits, i’ve seen people do it before a couple years ago but now we have WAY more and it would be fun to see
I would want more stained glass and art nouveau style b&b… we only got so little in realm of magic… and despite me playing as spellcasters all the time, I always have a hard time to make the realm of magic stuff work, so I would really enjoy having more of that kind of thing, maybe also modern leaning, that it could work in a more state of the art kind of build
i wish they’d make a kit that was just little stains and spills decals-a puddle carpet and coffee ring clutter pieces etc. i like making gross builds of abandoned buildings and old houses so i’d use it all the time but i think it would also serve the same kind of purpose of clutter kits by letting players make their builds seem more lived in. they’d never make it ofc and there are decals in other packs that serve the same purpose but a guy can dream.
Yeah I like worn out stuff too - strangerville comes with a lot of stains and stuff btw (also for rent) if you buy them then they have you covered imo
@@mwahha6965 The werewolf and vampire packs also come with some good wall scuffs and tears.
@pointsixteen basement treasures is a really good kit for this. Strangerville, vampires, and werewolves are also really good for that look
hanging out by the pool with a cider and a new simsie video - today is gonna be a good day :)
What kind of game pack do you want for sims 4?
@@matthewboyajian9593personally? i would want faeries or a larger fantasy pack
ugh that sounds so lovely
@@latiecastro3873 I tihnk fairies should ahve their own expansion pack.
The goth revival kit is SO slept on!!
It has 2 super good comfy/casual t shirts in several colors (including a few bright colors not just dark tones), a cute oversized hoodie that’s great for winter, a nice jean jacket w t shirt duo, and some sneakers that look kinda like vans! They have a white swatch on the shoes I often use, and all the tops have different shades it’s not all dark moody colors! Theres a cute casual dress over a fitted t shirt (looks cuter than I’m describing lol) and it has a little mini backpack detail! My favorite swatch has a pretty green shirt underneath with a red toned flower pattern on the dress and a brown toned book bag! There’s also a pair of Jean shorts that are kinda freyed at the bottom and has a belt and I use those regularly in the plain Jean swatch! I often use the pack for all my sims and none of them are goth!! Just regular shmegular people lmao
@@taylorweems3746 yeah that’s probably because the goth kit is more egirl/eboy style than it is goth. It’s more like what non goth people immediately think of, rather than anything actual goth people think of. There’s no obvious pieces that are trad goth, romance goth, cyber goth, etc. Which works fine for the overall sims community, but is disappointing for actual goth simers or simers who want to make goth sims.
The other thing with the greenhouse kit is that the doors and windows come with a mesh version so you can do a proper screened in porch. I'm thinking of building The Family Guy house and use the greenhouse kit for the screened in area.
Ill say, Ive actually really enjoyed bust the dust as an everyday gameplay feature. Its a small but realistic thing my sims have to do, and they almost always end up discovering the neat trait. My sims get focused and happy moodlets from cleaning and i think its a nice little background feature! I totally understand why people would find it annoying but I like it
Not for a kit, but the most necessary thing we need is dimples. There are lots of skin details that are represented that are much less common than dimples. It's actually pretty sad that something so simple doesn't exist.
The base game has dimples! In CAS, click on the Sim’s cheek to see all the cheek presets. It’s the left column, 8th up from the bottom.
There are also chin dimples when you click on the chin.
Honestly, just a kit of more wallpapers/flooring options would be nice. Just some variety in swatches we already have, or more molding that matches the wood floors would be nice to have.
Yeah, a lot of people are suggesting kits that are just a bunch of the same item that crosses a lot of themes. And I almost agree, except I also wonder if those sorts of things aren't better suited for a base game update/pack refresh.
Like, I make mostly community lots because a good community lot makes the game feel a lot more alive. So I almost want a kit. But what I really want is 3-5 new signs in the base game, Refreshes of the existing signs with more swatches. And a little more decor for business purposes.
Like a sign for a pool, the standard image on a lot of pools is stylized water with a swimmer where you see only the head and one arm. Another neon sign that's two words instead of one in a different font.
And ceiling and wall decor that can be customized to look like exits, or directions.
@@steggopotamus didn't they add a new sign l>ke that in base game? The little black one with all the symbols on it for community lots? Am I making that up?
Personally, as a cottagecore builder one of my favorite kits is surprisingly the Industrial Loft Kit, I find so many uses for it despite building in a completely different style than it gives off. I love the arch and decor, in your generation challenge (Red Gen) I used it for an industrial theme and it fit so well with my generation heir!
This is also all so dependent on personal style too, because I use the grunge revival kit alllll the time lol
but overall I heavy agree with this list!
I have to force myself to not use that little tucked in/tucked under tshirt on like every femme sim
I love the invisible dance floor for one reason: Fog! You can place a bunch of em on a lot and turn on the fog on each em to make a creepy lot.
I’m not going through all of them for the moment, so this is just my must haves: Book Nook (book cases are essential), Basement Treasures (I love the couch and the arm chair, so comfy), Greenhouse Haven (the windows make me think of TS2 and that just makes me happy), Pastel Pop (has the only cute kids carpet other than spooky stuff), First Fits (anything for kids and younger is essential), Little Campers (kids stuff needed). A lot of them I really like, but these are the ones I put on must haves for me.
My holy trinity is Goth Galore, Pastel Pop, and Blooming Rooms. These help me so much because I can get a good look at each and list the ones I want to get later.
How are there 31??!!
Corporate greed
My must haves: book nook, pastel pop, blooming rooms, country kitchen and everyday clutter. LOVE those ones, always use them
If EA could take the idea of the costume trunk they are reintroducing with Lovestruck and make a costume party kit, I think that could do really well - new costumes, the trunk itself, maybe a punch bowl if it needs an additional game play item. But really focus on adding new costumes, and refresh not only the base game costume parties but also the Seasons trick or treating costumes. The key would be focusing on all age groups, and maybe focusing on children and toddlers.
Yes! I currently use a mod that lets the costumes from other packs work with seasons. I wish they would update it to include more costumes. I hate how guests at costume parties only have like 5 costumes and half of them are star wars themed.
I actually really love the Moonlight Chic kit because it feels like a more adult version of the high school years clothing! I do really like the styles in HSY but they feel a little young/juvenile for my late young adult sims, and Moonlight Chic feels like a natural, more adult transitionary version of the styles in HSY.
Industrial Loft, Decor to the Max, and Courtyard Oasis are 3 of my most used kits! I guess I am a maximalist at heart lol. Incheon Arrivals is the only CAS kit I have and I have no regrets. I do think I will get Urban Homage eventually too.
my must have kits are
• first kids kit (even if i don’t have it lol)
• bathroom clutter
• simtimates collection
my unnecessary kits are
• castle estate
• décor to the max
• goth galore
Wow, we are complete opposites. My occult obsessed self ate goth galore and Castle estates up
lol im the complete opposite I can’t live without goth galore and decor to the max but the simtimates collection is unnecessary to me
This is super helpful as someone who loves building but is hesitant to drop a bunch of money on bigger DLCs. I only have the base game and the free kits that came out
Edit: Did Kayla already make a build using all the build kits? If not that’d be fun trying to work castle estate with pastel pop and other juxtaposing kits
Buy an expansion pack on discount and you will get 100% more bang for your buck. Kits are the most overpriced of all the dlc honestly. Recommend seasons on sale or on cdkeys
1 that sweater is adorable 2 i've actually been loving the cozy bistro kit for homes, especially the lace short curtain which has been great for kitchens. there's also this really cute gay vintage style painting in that kit i'm obsessed with
I'm so glad they made the blooming rooms kit free for a time - i wouldn't spent money on kits but this one is just perfect for my build style XD
A kit that I would buy would for sure would be about gamer stuff. You know, some new PC, chairs, desks, but not in the GAMER aesthetic way, but something more subtle that can go well with a gaming room. With some mario bros references, etc.
Home decorator is a must for me. Love all the bright busy patterns. Saves on having to clutter everything up to be all homely. X
Long story short- I no longer have access to my mom’s EA account we have been sharing (off the record lol) for YEARS and years. We as a team had every.single.expansion in the game. I had to make my own account and start over everything from scratch. The packs I chose first even surprised me a little but I don’t regret my choices it is the following:
-seasons (duh lol)
-cats and dogs (duh lol)
-discover university (for storyline)
-wedding stories (for storyline and beach gameplay at once)
-my dream decorator
-bathroom clutter
-everyday clutter
-blooming plants kit
-fancy luxe decor kit
-toddlers clothing kit
-parenthood (for gameplay)
-goth revival kit (such good casual/comfy tops)
-decor to the max kit
-laundry day (for realism)
My next packs in my list are:
-busy the dust
-the new loves truck one coming out this month
-high school years
-get to work
🤍😊
(For context I’m the summer who loves building, CAS, as well as gameplay I enjoy every aspect and yes it does take me FOREVER to set everything up 😂😂)
managed to find this video exactly 31 minutes after it was posted, what are the odds!??
I’m seeing your comment 31 mins after you posted it✨
And the video is 31 minutes long. 🌝
I would love to see a wood working kit, where it gives you more things you can make, like picture frames or something
Not the kits being over 100$ like bro that’s just so much lol
Next week, coming up: Every Room is a different kit, bun in that room, everything from the kit has to be used!
It’s not a NECESSARY kit but I honestly would buy a kit that’s full of pet accessories! Like more collars and outfits for dogs and cats
Yes yes yes, absolutely, the fact that cats and dogs is an expAnsion pack based on cats and dogs but came with so few options is just a bit disappointing...
@@samanthatrafton6280 We do have my first pet stuff but that had the controversy of dlc that requires another dlc (required pets to function)
They would never do that after the My First Pets debacle. DLC for DLC is not a great look.
@@Derpy_Bot Totally agree but yeah the DLC for DLC is insane. But maybe it’s been enough time for them to do a little refresh? I think we could use revised pet beds (with more depth), bowls & collars.
the release would be a whole my first pets stuff 2.0 but god id love this, or even a pets clutter kit :(
I was thinking that they could create a bathroom kit with a toilet, shower, tub, shower/tub, two sinks (1 pedestal and 1 counter top sink), bathroom shelving unit (1 cluttered and 1 uncluttered), bathroom counters. Without a kit like this, trying to do a kits only house without using base game is hard, because your sims wouldn’t have a toilet. If they wanted to, they could bring back the corner shower from TS2 and TS3.
My ideas for future kits I'd like to see:
>Kitchen Clutter
>Art & Wall Decor
>Rugs & Curtains
I want an electronics kit. Like individual monitors for a tower pc (could be varied like the extra long curved monitor and vertical monitor), more game systems, vcrs, dvd players, and clutter like tangled dead earphones, old cd stack, vcr memory box, forgotteb cable box. Call it “its electric”
Must have: Basement clutter, Castle kit, Bistro kit, Blooming rooms, Everyday clutter, first fits kit
Kayak doesn’t appreciate my fav basement clutter kit 😢😂
When the sims 4 came out, I kept up on buying every new pack. I stopped around the time University came out in like 2019. It was too much and I’m pretty sure I have like $2000 in packs. It’s wild how many packs there are, especially once kits started coming out.
Me personally I would looove more hairstyles specifically African American hairstyles... I would love something like Bistro but like a Hair Salon Kit
The Modern Lux Kit and both clutter kits are my MUST haves I use them in literally every single build😂
I’m madly in love with the Modern Luxe Kit! I’m ALWAYS using it! My number 1 kit by far!! 💕🥰❤️
honestly preppy clothing kit would be fun and maybe another kitchen set kit, i find hard to use most of the kitchen set and its the room i struggle most with even tho kitchens are like my favorite thing to decorate so another kitchen set kit would be useful
Unpopular opinion: Pricewise I prefer two kits before one of the earliest stuff packs (like the ones before laundry day more less)
My Top 3 Kits:
•Book Nook
•Both clutter kits (they should’ve been in one kit, let’s be honest)
•Incheon Arrivals (it’s the best CAS kit to me)
My Least Used (of the ones I own)
•Party Essentials
•Modern Menswear
•Courtyard Oasis
If I ever really want to go get a fancy coffee and then talk myself out of it I reward myself with a kit 😂
I love these ranking videos! Also that sweater looks great with your eyes!
I *always* use the dust and *always* add laundry in my builds. I even have multiple pieces of laundry CC lol
You are braver than I
I fear the dust system with all my heart
I would use laundry all the time but it ALWAYS breaks for me. I get so frustrated replacing bugged washers and dryers that I inevitably delete it.
12:00 That peacock is the hero item, I love her. The wallpaper is a bit much for me because maximalist isn't my style but sometimes I just want a statement piece and that peacock is it. Also the wierd mirror type thingymajiggy.
I really like the Cozy Bistro set. In a Café whilst it rains is a vibe of which i utterly adore.
Controversial opinions:
-The greenhouse kit is the only build/buy kit I don't own because it looks useless to me
-The party essentials kit is great! The bar, the disco ball, the record player, the LED TV, the invisible dance floor, the fog machine, the backdrop, the tiny speakers?! So many great things in that pack.
-I like the dust kit. I wish they would release more gameplay kits
if i could make my own kit it would be all cosmetic. I want modern hair, makeup, and nail polish!! there’s not enough middle parts in the sims that look good. i swear i use the outdoor retreat hair every time i make a sim.
Looking at the stuff in the basement treasures kit made me think of how cool it would be to make like an antique home good & furnishings shop!!
Kit ideas: more curtains. Exterior architectural deals like unique chimneys and trims. A collab with IKEA. Matching toddler and kids furniture.
I want more decor kits. We already got clutter and plants, so now one for rugs one and wall art.
I did a little “treat yo self” and bought some yesterday just cause I wanted a little something extra and I should have waited for this video 😅
31:06 Gaming Kit? I know you can probably already do this in game with multiple packs, but the kit could include more specific items all in one place. Like a PC gaming set up, something like a dual or triple monitor set up that can come in roygbiv also white and black swatches. Some other ideas I had were a gaming tv, consoles and controllers, maybe even a chair/steering wheel/monitor set up for driving games! I think it could also come with at least one wallpaper or floor, so you can make a gamer specific room. :P
I really love your dialogue in these “ranking” videos.
You and I are opposites, I’m a CAS simmer more than a build simmer (by far 🤣), but I never feel upset or hurt or offended by your reviews of the CAS packs.
You always speak so thoughtfully and respectfully, and I really respect that about you.
Thank you for being so authentically yourself, Kayla 🫶🏼💛
Decor To The Max was really good for making Chinoiserie rooms in my country castle manor I built in Henford-on-Bagley. That style was very trendy in the 18th and 19th centuries, a lot of royal palaces use it. Shame it doesn't have more stuff (can be said with all kits tbh) but it combined with some of the base game's Queen Anne decor it really works well. Blooming Rooms is also a must have because plants.
i love all the collabs, every time the sims does any sort of collaboration it ends up being really great imo
I think a lot of these Kits are leftovers from packs. Like, the Country Kitchen Kit was made for the Country Living Pack, and they had to chose which Kitchen goes into the Game. So they released the unused as a Kit to get some coins that way. And I do not mind that. But some Kits are so random and not even niche. Like the Airport Fashion one. Its regular Fashion. Nothing Special. I think they should other stuff with kits. Or at least also. Like with the Goth Fashions. Goth is mire than just black Leather and ripped Fishnet Tights. If they do Kits with Asian Fashions, than give us the crazy stuff like Harajuku Style or Lolita or Emo. Even Time Periode Fashion Kits would be nice like a 50s Fashion, 70s Fashion and so on. And the same goes for Build/Buy Kits.
A garden kit of some hedges, different standard garden plants and the big game play item would be a porch swing on a stand. My other idea is obsolete tech, a few different styles of landline phone from rotary to cordless. We could have deco answering machines, newspapers, and such
Wow feeling pretty validated seeing this ranking with the kits I have! Pastel Pop, everyday clutter, bathroom clutter, blooming rooms, book nook, decor to the max (totally agree that individual items are really nice but hard to use all together), and industrial loft (industrial is 100% my vibe I make so many industrial builds!)!
I’m not even kidding when I say the kit I want most is a trash cans kit.
I still feel like kits were announced as a new pack type yesterday and now there's 31 this is crazy 😭
I would like a kit with Scandinavian fashion, a kit that focus on rooms with slanted walls (which are all over Europe). Or hear me out: Catio kit! A kit for making life fun for cats, like climbing ropes going down from the ceiling and wall mounted scratchers with a cosy sleeping spot. Or a kit with an animal behaviour specialist, or a groomer kit!❤ oh my, I keep going😂
Literally just for the fact that Industrial Loft comes with a fuzzy rug, I would rank it second to highest lol😂 plus the beeddd
For me Incheon Arrivals, First Fits, Book Nook and Little Campers are my must haves. The CAS ones are so well designed especially the Incheon Arrivals kit. For winter wear its my go to🤍. And even tho im not a builder at all the Book Nook kit just has such good items to scatter around. The book stacks and the little tbr basket are my faves😍.
My must haves: book nook; desert luxe; castle estate; and decor to the max.
loving kayla’s literal sweater in july while living in florida
I think there should be an upgraded vacation/camping kit. I can't remember if it's added, but just some more fun bohemian style furniture and decorations and even hammocks in a backyard.
I use the small, round table from the plant kit to put my crystal charging grid on!! It fits perfectly and hides the glass!!
My biggest issue with the Courtyard Oasis Kit is that it didn't have anything that really worked well with any other pack (expansion, stuff, or otherwise). I would love for us to have a Middle-Eastern-themed world or game pack. That would be great.
Incheon Arrivals is a must have for clothes for me and Blooming Rooms is a must have for building for me lol!
I really want an accessory based kit or a hair kit!
the fact that I knew what her list will be before staring =)) i love this!
My dream kit? honestly there is a '"few" 😅
For CAS I would personally love to see:
-Victorian goth lolita fashion
-Steampunk fashion
-Steampunk lolita fashion
-Cyberpunk fashion
-Alt hairstyles
-Boho fashion (there are cas iteams that I use in that style, but I still use tones of cc to have more options/to easily mix and match)
-Dark academia fashion
For B&B:
-Steampunk
-Cyberpunk
-Anime inspired or a colab (I know we have HSY,but Im thinkig here of figurines, keychains, bags.pillows, plushies, manga but I wouldn't mind more posters either)
-50s/60s/70s/80s inspired furniture
-Boho furniture
-Gothic/Victorian furniture (we have a lot of modern stuff in the game so personally I would love to see more older looking furniture in the game, especially in the gothic/victorian style)
-Kitchen set (older looking & modern)
-Bathroom set (older looking & modern)
Courtyard Oasis is in use often or even must have for me just because of the tiles and the wall. I use that so often, the colors are great and it looks good both indoors and outdoors. Little campers is also in use often for me, because I use that card table / normal table version + the matching chairs all the time in the gardens. Desert Luxe is a must have for me because of the curtains; the rest of the furniture is also great. All the clutter kits are also up there for me (bathroom, everyday, the old basement stuff and the booknook and plant kits I also count to this). Honestly, I think all the build kits have cool stuff and I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I don't hate kits in general, I think they serve different niches and do that well enough. If that niche isn't something that you miss in your game (like you never build pools, or you prefer to build modern houses over rustic houses, or you never play with kids anyways), than it's easy to say no to a kit and just not buy it.
I want a playground kit and arcade kit so badly. The playground one could have things like a merry-go-round, sand box, those old wooden castle slides, the dome jungle gyms, splash pads, play houses, etc.. I guess some of those would require new animations so maybe too much for a kit ;^^ But an 80's themed arcade kit would be fun
i’d personally love a kitchen clutter kit or a toddler room kit (more toys, wall decor) but my unrealistic dream is a wallpaper kit. not the category wallpaper, but actual wallpaper with skirting boards and a pattern. also i agree with some other people that more subculture fashion kits would be cool! oo or maybe a hair kit with a modern hairdresser theme
For CAS, I'd love a formalware kit! Something to add more suit and tux varieties for masc sims and maybe some more makeup options that look better on masc sims.
For Building... I really love all of the clutter/clutter-adjacent kits, so maybe a "Nerd Den" kit that's all about adding more clutter to gaming rooms, like different types of gaming consoles and board games, and maybe even a fake DnD table with all of the bits and bobs it'd come with.
