Honestly I think it would be reasonable to take a week or two off after the charity stream is done! It's pretty common among folks who work office jobs to take time off after a busy season. I know it can be hard to take more extended time off when you have to contend with the algorithm, though. Which often means working extra to make videos ahead of time, which isn't ideal if you're alredy busy. Maybe you could line up having smaller creators make guest videos for the channel, maybe on some kind of theme?

Please could you do an “everything is not as it seems house”? One that’s functional with items being used for different uses than what they were intended for, hidden rooms, secret gardens, confusing layouts, completely different exterior & interior, etc, etc??? Love your videos xxxxxxx
hey, I don't usually comment but I went through something similar earlier this year. my grandpa was in the hospital for almost two weeks so I can imagine how hard this must be for you
you can always count on chat to choose the most chaotic choice possible
but I genuinely think this house turned out really cute regardless of the chaotic choices !

Oh friend, you are SO underselling TOOL 🤭! In a build I did recently I took one of the HUGE debug buildings that you see in the world and made it small enough to fit on a desk as decoration. TOOL is the mod I never knew I needed and now can't live without!

I've been learning how to use TOOL recently but it's got a hell of a hit and miss success rate for me 😂 watching Caryn and Connie videos got me to download and try it but I think I probably manage to do what I want with it about 2 times out of 10 🤣
the TOOL mod has saved me such a headache with placing curtains! can't live without it now lol

Kayla, I hope you know that even if you use TOOL, objects stay that way in the build. No one would need to download TOOL to be able to use one of your builds if you did use it. And it's an amazing mod that makes things so much easier. TOOL and BBB are the only mods I ever use

@17:00 having more size increments for bigger and smaller scale is one of the many things i have on my ‘what I wish for the Sims 4 in 2024 list” I really hope this one gets implemented, and an update to the phone, and MORE functional lots in almost every world. as well as more functional objects. Those are up there for me, and there’s already been more functional objects 🤞

Oh can’t forget bug fixes and game stability❕‼️, that’s just basic foundation, basically #0. Very glad it’s being addressed, I haven’t updated to the late May patch to get experience the improvements yet!

I once read a home-decor book who stated - start with the rug. Find a rug that you love, and decorate your room around the rug. It's easier to do that than to find a rug to suit the already complete room.
every time kayla plugs her streams i die a bit inside because where i live, shes streaming at like 4am so i cant watch them 😭😭

I totally relate to you. My grandpa passed away late last year and my grandma went to a nursing home so we took in their cat and he just recently got diagnosed with liver cancer

In afrikaans there's a saying, "jy het a warme mond" which translates to "you have a hot mouth", what it refers to is when a person tends to talk things into existence unintentionally. Kayla has a warme bek, i fully expect RUclips or twitch to go down in flames soon 😂. The amount of times I've experienced Kayla talk about packs and features way before they're implemented really is sus, I guesss that's why people think she has an insider at maxis or something.
