I seriously hope that sims fixes this rental pack to be more income based, because it'll be more fun. But that aside, it's been funny watching the sims fail at land lording the same way we did...by not getting paid rent. I LOVE your videos...thank you so much. You're so fun to watch.
the thing i learned with this pack is that rent gets paid on mondays! it’s the same day that bills and rent are paid in other packs (such as city living) and that’s how i got paid rent. i’m not sure if there’s a bug with your version or the early access, but that’s what i found worked in my game! love u simsie!
I think there must be a bug with her version. This video wasn't filmed during early access - she has access to all the packs and there's no floating watermark. She played all the way through to Tuesday too so she should have got the monday payment
@@SomeoneBeginingWithI that’s so weird! do you think they patched that in the most recent update from tuesday?
@@marierenea7285 Maybe? I don't have the pack so I can't test it myself. I don't know what Simsie's production timeline is, but maybe she filmed this before the update. I believe you that it works in your game, and that could explain the difference. Several recent packs have had big bugs on release which were fixed in an update, so I wouldn't be suprised.
@@SomeoneBeginingWithI yeah that’s so real. can’t bring myself to get wedding stories because i’m scared it’s gonna destroy my game lmao😭
@@marierenea7285 yeah I'm staying away from wedding stories for sure. Some of the build/buy is beautiful but it's not worth the risk.
This was so chaotic and I am totally here for it 😂 much love Stanley!
I love how Kayla’s videos have been longer then usual lately. Brings me joy ❤
It’s really disappointing that you don’t make much money considering that it’s the entire point of the pack and it’s even more disappointing with good ratings you don’t make enough. Like what’s the point? It’s just city living at that point if you’re just going to rent since land-lording isn’t worth the time
After all that Kayla has put Stanley through and she doesn’t think he deserves anything nice?! Oh Lord lol 😂
Kayla irl: Charity streams! Help the children! We love generosity 🤗
Kayla in the sims: You want me to give to charity??? In this economy???
Kayla discovering you need to be rich before you can afford to become a landlord is so funny 🤣
I can’t wait to see what it’s like to rent to your family! That’s what I’d use it for, but I’m wondering how annoying it is to still play the landlord position for grandma
"That was my toilet money" 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Meanwhile, Stanley is like "Am I the drama? I dont think im the drama."
Absolutely loving these long form videos bestie!!!
I had just made a HUGE rental building and started with my sim and then the adoption drive started and I saw this really cute kitten so i went to go talk to it but a few minuets latter SHE DIED FROM LAUGHTER!
I have Mickie in my apartment lot too and i love them! They are fighting all the other tenants and playing loud music and living their best life
this is one of the funniest videos she’s made in a while 😭
the more i watch content about this dlc the more i dont wanna buy it lol i thought nintendo was bad but at least they deliver the fun part, the sims 4 is just paying to get stressed
"I'LL EVICT WHOEVER I WANT , WHENEVER I WANT!" was hilarious
Disclaimer: I don’t have this pack yet…
…but I heard you get rent on Wednesdays. 🤷🏻♀️
So I started playing The Sims 4 again a couple weeks ago, after a very long break. The funny thing is that I was building a house and I thought "it would be so cool if there was a way to build houses for rent." And you can imagine how thrilled I was when I checked the new packs and found out there WAS a way to build houses for rent! Lol I've been playing as a landlord for a while now, and all I can say is that it gets better and easier to deal with tenants and everything else.
ALMOST A FULL HOUR OF STANLEY?! We are blessed, but also sorry Hope. 😂
It's been a while since I watched Kayla and it's so sweet to come back and see her growing!!
If your landlord sim has the neat trait that lets them clean things that aren’t dirty you can just spam a bunch of cleaning when you visit your rental property and the rating and maintenance will go up.
As expected, Kayla woke up and chose utter (decor) chaos.
Kayla being okay with murdering sims for no reason but upset by evicting awful sims >>
I wonder if having a butler, they would do all the maintainer for you in common spaces
Sadly you can't hire butlers in residential rental lots.
IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE. TURN IT UP.
This pack may have singlehandedly saved the get famous world lmao
There is not nearly enough spaces to live in there, but now that thus came out we can make more 🎉
I feel like there should be a way to search for stuff with environment scores. Or to filter it? Feels like it would be a great minor update
Stanley is basically that landlord that is gonna fine you for breathing too much in the apartment.
I plan on buying the pack next week (waiting to make sure we don't have another wedding pack fiasco!). It looks like fun...but I'm not sure which way I'll play. I really want to build a townhouse for...maybe sisters. Not sure yet.
Stanley as a landlord! Love it!
I always wait. Usually there are bugs that need to be patched so I normally wait until the first patch after a pack is released to buy it.
@@KimberlyRatliff I second this, I was having the same issue Kayla was in my own game. I saw some advice on the ea forum and they said to move tenets in via the phone, not the business panel. I wish the pack just worked as intended 😭
I really like the idea of the pack but the fact that it's so bugged is unacceptable for this amount of money! I don't understand how it passed the playtesting. I would much rather that they postpone the premiere date... For now, I will wait for some discounts or a cheap key somewhere
