This could not have been cast better. This is 1 of the greatest shows of all time, up there with The Honeymooners & Martin & Seinfeld. 30 Rock. The Office. It's a must watch and it's a must watch a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and even 5th time because the jokes are so layered on top of each other, you will always find another genius line that will have you in stitches. Perfect show. I'll always hold out for a Jonah spin-off
First two seasons were great. Then it all became ridiculous and dark and unfunny. Jonah was smart yet annoying. They turned him into an imbecile. Selina’s increasing comfort with corruption was dark and weird. the whole show just became dumb. Too bad.
its so weird, i personally enjoy the first 2 seasons the most too. after a while narc characters can get a little old IMO because they usually have no real growth. i was disappointed in Amy turning full on kelly anne conway. i assumed most people felt this way but after reading peoples opinions on reddit and other things, most people love s5 and s6 the most.
@@benjsmithproductions but she didn't technically get the 'big job' on her own until the very end. the only reason she moved up was by default. jld and the creators have spoken about their reasons to blow up the premise by s3 and i personally think it was really well done. the scene where she first tells gary about how she's going to president is fantastic.
My favorite television series of all time. Brilliant writing, acting, editing, etc. I've watched each episode multiple times and will do so again.
Julia is a BEAST! She was amazing in Seinfeld...But; this is her magnum opus...Loved every character...Gary and Jonah are amazing too...

Also Arrested Development in terms of layered jokes. Also, Jonah spin -off really? He was funny in doses but not good as the focus of the show imho

Selina getting the big job should have been saved for the series ending arch. It just wasn't really Veep once she wasn't... you know...
