Great selection. I love Blanche Bete, I too have a decant of it - I get creamy semi-sweet rice pudding and a touch of violet. I’ll save mine for winter. It’s too thick on me now in summer. My choice from LI is Fleur de Sable in heat. Salty touches keep it interesting and no vanilla or coconut. I keep thinking about Nuit de Cellophane and Gris Clair must organise some samples. I love L’Eau Froide and Laine de Verre so think I’d like them. Stunning dress too. You look so summery and effortlessly elegant ❤️
Ohhh, love Sunny Side Up, Ormonde Woman (wearing it today), and Blanche Bête (I think it's best in fall, winter, and spring but might be too much for summer...ours are very hot and humid, too). Now you've got me interested in the Sisley. Great video, Cherie.
My January rotation down here in sultry Sydney: Diptyque's Philsykos and Eau Duelle, JHAG's Sunny Side Up, Gentlewoman and Pear Inc, Shiseido Zen and Replica's Beach Walk (for the beach). I'm enjoying the rotation concept btw especially as I'm in Australia too and it's a great way to experience a perfume collection.
A lovely smelling month. Oh the summer I can't wait for ours. I love a drop D'Issey it's not a mind blowing one but yes beautiful lilacs and it does smell like lilacs 😂. Oh the JHAG really do struggle on me. I do wish I could enjoy them. Blanche bette I'm with you, it's not a great love for me. Not bad though but yea our Claire Pear adores that one. Great video mate
Hi Cherie! I have the same reaction with Blanche Bête! I like the idea of it and I can appreciate why people like it but when I wear my sample enjoy it at first but very quickly it becomes almost sickly sweet and lactonic. I think I want to like it more than I actually do because of its good reputation.
Hello Cherie, thanks for your part three! I think it's interesting to go back and try things that get neglected in our collections to figure out why they aren't getting worn or simply to give them a chance to be used. I have avoided Byredo for all the reasons you mentioned in your video. I am still curious to try them though. Blanche Bête seems polarizing, people love it or don't. I haven't sampled it but may try to this year. I am curious about it because it had so much hype through the last few months. I was sampling Arquiste Misfit yesterday. It was snowing all day and that fragrance felt so fitting and grounding to me. It wasn't too sweet but had a touch of sweetness with the resinous notes. It's on my wish list now for sure. It made me feel happy and peaceful. It's a high of - 15c today... A bit of a cold day but sunny and clear. All the dark scents are my thing right now in the cold weather because of all the layers of clothing one needs to wear to say warm. 🌲❄️🥶 Have a good week ahead! Take care! - Jenn
Amyris Femme is one of my favourite. To me the vanilla doesn't turn sweet on my skin but it becomes more like 'woody' vanilla scent and this perfume surprisingly blooms in the heat. Lasting power is great too and it dries down into soft powdery musky woody scents.
Hi. My 76th birthday was yesterday. I had a beautiful day with two police captains visiting me giving me two birthday cards with one Captain giving me a teddy bear with a happy birthday balloon. I found Opium perfume at the flee market today (the original) in a beautiful bottle and for a great price. Take Care. 😊. My daughter and three grandchildren are coming to my house tomorrow to celebrate my birthday.
I got a decant of Baiser de Russie after seeing your video and loved it so much but could never find a bottle. Today after waiting 4 months, Place Venome confirmed my order of Gourmand Coquin and also informed me that they will have Mon Precieux Nectar and Baiser de Russie in stock in a few weeks!!! I'm not greedily checking to see they will also restock Le Plus Beau Jour bc all of my Guerlain originals are evaporating faster than I can use them. I wanted to let you know 🥰🥰
Oh my gosh! Did you end up getting Baiser! Im so relieved that Place are stocking it, we cant even get 'normal' Guerlain's in Australia at the moment, its nuts!

Thank you! Yes I'm really enjoying Gypsy water. I'm so tempted to blind buy ormand woman but I'm holding back. 💙

Thanks Frances! So many great choices there. Philosykos is a great one and so far I am very much enjoying Sunny Side Up!

Really enjoyed these videos and happy to hear you’ve rediscovered Gypsy Water - one of my favorites. ♥️
Thanks Laura! Xx
Nice fragrances, Cherie! ❤️

😍
Izia la nuit to me it was very similar to rose arabie from Armani.. I'm crazy or could be?
Oh can you believe I havent actually tried the Armani! I should try and get a sample to see if I get the similarity, it wouldnt surprise me tbh :)
Floofy 🤭 Why do I like that word so much?
Haha it is very appealing
