This was fabulous. I am surely not the only one who enjoys longer format, don't apologize! Perhaps, if you would allow me a suggestion, time stamps in the show notes might solve the problem (of anybody's time constrictions). When in a hurry, I always check for time stamps and wilI only watch (*whatever the full length of the video is*) if I can easily access what I'm looking for or interested in. On another note - no pun intended - I was surprised to hear that Panthère is all but universally disliked. True, it's very old-school (a plus in my book) but so cleverly done, an eighties-style rose-chypre in the vein of Ungaro's Diva. It's boss lady, with an Italian exuberance, sophistication and presence, to my nose. I adore it.
Thank you! I typically do time stamps but I ran out of time to post this one. I’ll go back and add them when I can 🤗 I know I couldn’t understand the dislike of Panthere either, it is fantastic!
I forgot to answer Question 9 - "Overhyped fragrance that I currently own" I don't know about "overhyped" I mean, if I own it I expect I don't think it would be overhyped but one that I own that definitely gets a lot of airtime is Rouge Malachite.
And your hair looks amazing!
🥰
Amazing, tag! I love it so much. Wonderful fragances! I love Fleur de Lalita…..,so pretty! Amazing floral.❤️❤️🌹 The Panthère and Ormond Woman are so special for me. Thanks for sharing this awesome tag. Have a nice week. Lots of love🌹❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! x
I love La Panthere! It really is a Chypre throwback 😊
Cherie - love that you did this tag video. Your answers are so thoughtful and detailed 💖
But we NEED YOU TO DROP YOUR SKINCARE ROUTINE!
Haha I promise you it’s not my skincare routine - it’s the new lighting!! …and Bobby Brown face base under my makeup. That’s new too.
Oh fun! Thanks for the tag! Watching yours now and will make mine!
Lys Sølaberg and Blondine are two of my all-time favorites ♡. Loved this video!
My Diva fragrance is Mitsouko. The chypres conjour old school glam for me. Really enjoyed your list. You do look lovely.
It was great to see you do this one. Yea some hard questions. I was glad to see Honour there 😜 The one for beginners was so hard, everyone has such different taste
And yes I think we all want to see Henna's version.
Yay! Excited you did this video :). The way you present yourself is quite lovely!
Thank you so much 🙂
So nice to hear your selections Cherie. You put some thought into it, we can tell. Can't believe I was in London this year and didn't get my nose on Ormonde Jayne. Now it's on my list to smell Man and Woman plus some others that I've heard about.
You look stunning and your skin is glowing.
Thank you so much 🤗
Enjoyed hearing your unique take on this tag and yes….you are truly glowing!
Thanks Jill! ❤️
Just love your videos Cherie. They are thoughtful and detailed, and we often enjoy the same fragrances. You are absolutely glowing in this video by the way, your skin looks amazing.
Thank you! I’m trying to remember what I did differently with my skin for this one, people seemed to like it! 💕
Great list, and you look so lovely! I am listening to Pep's episode chatting with you right after this, too :)
Yay, thank you!
I just love your videos!!! You have such a down to earth demeanor and honesty about you. We have the same scent profiles. I love ormonde Jayne and NO one ever talks about them! Woman is one of my faves. Oh by the way you look glowing and stunning marriage suits you! Thanks Cherie
Oh thank you! I’ll be sure to pass on the compliment to Matt haha thank you for your lovely thoughts x
I love thèse longer videos! Honestly, I could listen to you for hours but I don’t imagine you’d have fun talking for hours. Loved hearing your choices!! Gorgeous hair and you!
Are you kidding? I love talking for hours on perfume! That’s why I started this channel! Haha
You’re looking fabulous Cherie! You are a robe and a recline away from ‘full diva’ mode ❤😂. I’m going to have to go and smell Velvet Splendor now. Great video 👏👏
Thanks Nell! Haha I’m always a just dramatic pose away from full Diva mode 😂
Lovely! Ty 💙✨
I loooooove your voice...great video gurrl❤❤
Thank you so much!!
Hi Cherie ❤ love to see this tag from you - yay!! 😊
Yay, thank you! Have you done this one? Please do I love your recommendations!
@@TheTopNote maybe I will do it, it’s hard to do ! Loved to listen to yours 🙏🥰
Lovvveeee lys solaberg!
Looking fabulous ❤
Thanks to a little Dell magic 🥰
A wonderful video and you look great Cherie🌺
Thank you so much!
Velvet Splendour needs more love amongst the fragrance cognoscenti! I'm fascinated with this perfume but I do have to be in the mood to wear it. Great video, Cherie.
I agree Jim!
Yay!
Hi Cherise. I watched you Live with a very nice Gentleman, who likes perfumes also, and I really enjoyed watching the video. I am enjoying wearing my perfumes, and I bought a few lately. Yesterday I got motivated to organize my perfumes in three cabinets and on top of a dresser. It was hard work, but it was worth it as it is so much easier to find the perfumes to wear. I hope you and your husband are doing well. Take Care. 😊
I really want to organise my fragrances better, you have inspired me to set some time aside to do it!
I love your hard time story. Thank you for sharing. My mom loves that fragrance as well. I tried to get it for her but I can’t find it anywhere.
OMG I neatly jumped out of my bed, when you showed Bulgari... It was my signature scent as well. and same feelings for that fragrance. I had worn it back in 2006, when I met my husband:)
It’s a great one and so different to anything else!
No wish list! 😨
So now I have to question myself - why do I have a list? And what would happen if I don’t have a list?
I am a list maker for 3 reasons:
- I don’t want to forget anything important
- It saves my brain from having to remember everything
- checking things off the list feels like I’m accomplishing something.
Reflecting. I dont need a perfumes to buy or test list. Worst case scenario I will forget something I once wanted. That sounds like a very good thing! And I would rather check things off a list of what to declutter than what to add to the collection.
Once again you have inspired me and I really like that. It’s so easy to get swept into the community hype machine. And I enjoy fragrances so much. But here I am with an ever growing perfume closet and 30-40 perfume samples I have yet to try. I don’t need another perfume right now. Even if it is mind blowing.
Thanks for that mental readjustment.
I totally understand you, I am a list maker too! Right now I just don’t want to remember “wants” because I already have so much more than I need 💕
Hi Cherise. You look lovely. I like your makeup. I wish you and your husband and all your family all the best. Take Care. 😊
Your hair looks amazing! I think I will copy you lol
😍
Great video Cherie and I have to agree with the other comments, married life clearly agrees with you as you are glowing. I am so glad that Blondine made the list. I adore that perfume. There are only a handful of perfumes that I buy replacement bottles, however, I am nearly ready to open my third bottle of this masterpiece and I will be forever grateful to the delightful Yve from Yvespiderssmells for getting me onto Blondine 😊
I think this is the first time I have ever noticed how beautiful your engagement ring is - what sort of stone is it.
Thanks Kellie, yes Yve has wonderful taste and she was the one who sent me a sample back in 2020, very grateful for her. 🙏
The stone is an Aussie sapphire! I love coloured gemstones 💙
@@TheTopNoteSo do I Cherie - I have a very significant birthday coming for me next year and I am in the process of consulting with a jeweller to get a ring made with an Australian pink sapphire or a black opal 😊
Thanks for the mention Cherie!
I wonder if i can adapt this video idea.
Would love to see that Pep!
But make sure you still tell us what your boss babe perfume is.
@@CanadianBeautyBlog i am filming right now! Can i change it to bossman?
😂
@@CanadianBeautyBlog 🤣
Beautiful and funny video ❤
Thank you 🤗 you are very kind!
I tried Ormonde Jayne Woman thanks to you and fell in love. With the perfume and the house...I now have more OJ perfumes than is good for me...
Haha you and me both! I’m glad you found a love though 💕
Just started watching and I'm looking forward to your responses....but really, Cherie, you should do a skin care video. Gorgeous!
Thanks lovely! It’s 99% lighting and makeup 😂
@@TheTopNote I think not! 😂
cherie, you made my friday evening with this video, i love listening to you! It was very thoughtful and original ♥️♥️♥️
I love Lalita very much but equally Melodie de L'Amour. The most elegant tuberose in the world. ❤ This is for the evening especially! For every day - very comfortable scent is Rhapsodie noire. Warm lavender and coffee with milk. I love a few more Dusita fragrances (* Except moonlight in chiangmai because it is very similar BR540 which I hate) Great house! Natural smells.
Melodie is incredible. That would be another I put in my “Diva” category, so opulent 💕
I hear you on the BR40. I used to just be meh about it, but now there are so many dupes, I smell it so often around me and it hate it. It smells like body odour and wee 🤮
You know, I love wearing sweet scents to bed, but I can’t stand when I wake up to the scent in the morning
I was just gonna say your hair looks amazing! Are you wearing a lip colour? You look fresh, sis! ❤
Thank you! Yes I am! It’s a Givenchy lipstick in the shade L’Interdit :)
@@TheTopNote it looks lovely on you! (and I'm going to look it up immediately)
So funny your dog has the same name as mine 😊
❤️
Hi Cherie, how did you manage to get what looks like a vintage bottle of Annick Goutal? Those bottles are so pretty. I think the brand is now just Goutal, is that correct? I only own one, Songes, and it's so beautiful I would love to try others, but I am not able to find them in my area. I live near Seattle, Wa. I really enjoyed your video, thank you! oxJulia
Hi Julia! I bought it from the store in Italy. I have since purchased a 50ml of Songes ❤ and that is in the newer bottle - I got that online.
@@TheTopNote Yes, I heard that, and I wonder if they had old stock? At any rate, that is a lucky thing I think! oxJulia
Fab video, but your different somehow?? Not physically, can't put my finger on it. Anyway, I was sure you were going to say Infusion d Iris as your lifetime choice... because of its presence.
I haven't sampled lalita yet.. but looking forward to doing so based on your reviews of it. 😀
I could have definitely chosen that one too! My bottle only has a few drops left…
