Profumum Roma Ambra Aurea is the most beautiful amber ever.
Rosendo Matteu No. 5 is one of my very favorite fragrances of all time. I love all of his fragrances but No. 5 is my favorite. His loss was a big blow to the fragrance community.

Amazing video! To me, Ambre Sultan is still the king amber. I love Le Lion, in my top 3 labdanum fragrances and Au Coeur du Desert needs to be mentioned, great one too. Ambre Kiso is great, I really enjoy Grand Soir, the best available MFK IMO. A lot of great ambers, one of my favorite notes/accords.
Benjoin Bohème is my Christmas gift for this year! It’s quite special, isn’t it. And that bottle! I’m so pleased to have this flacon! ✨

Glad you brought up the sweetness factor, that's been what puts me off to so many ambers. I'm a big fan of Amber del Sur.
I am happy you finally got Ambre Précieux- it's printed Pray-ssyeu tho, not Presso as Sebastian calls it, to my chagrin. I have used more than half my bottle since I bought it 2 1/2 years ago...

Great seeing you! I finally had a chance to smell Grand Soir at Saks Fifth Avenue last week. The associate gave me a sample. I was not impressed with it. I washed it off. Gave sample to a coworker. So I am still playing with Oud . I have fragrance that smells better than Satin Mood. Not a fan of house.
What do you have that smells better than the two you mentioned?

I have a bottle of Absolue Pour le Soir, with about a 1 ml left. My all-time favourite perfume! Had I known all those years ago that it was going to be discontinued, I would have bought 5 back-up bottles. No joke, 5! 🤪

I just ended up with a sample of Le Lion, and was a little scared to try it honestly, but I went for it. Oh my goodness, I love it! And actually find it very wearable. And I really need to get my nose on Papillon fragrances! Love Francesca Bianchi, and need to try her amber.
That’s funny I was just watching your videos about Profumum Roma Ambra Aurea. I’m trying to decide between buying that one and Initio Side Effect. I want the one that people may feel garners the most compliments.

@ScentedMoments I've always get compliments with Ambra compared to when I had side effect and the only compliment I got from that one was it smelled like old lady lol
I took a gamble on Fiori D'Ambra and im glad it is part of your list. I dont get to distinguish one amber from another but with the inspiration of opium on this one then it kinda sets it apart from the others (hopefully 😅).

There is an amber fragrance from Les Indemodables "Ambre Supreme" that you did not select for this line up. The same for "Blessed Baraka" from Initio. Any special reason? Would like to have your thoughts on those.

That Bon Parfumeur 302 sounds great. Have you tried their 902 armagnac, blond tobacco, cinnamon Bon Parfumeur? On Fragrantica, 302 has not good reviews for performance, but for you,performance was solid?
