next time you put ptfe on remember to put it on the right way, as you screw it together it should be tightening the tape not unravelling it.

I knew this at the time. It's always the same though, I sit there for five minutes trying to figure it out in my mind, which is the right way (and it should be clockwise, like I said in the video). It's the same when I'm respooling a strimmer 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for highlighting it though 👍

The old waste you took out how do you remove the stopper ? Ive similar and want to try and change the spring but cant seem to turn the stopper to get it off and get at the spring underneath? Or is not removable and you just need to replace the whole waste? like you just done in the video? Any help appreciated

Replace the whole waste like I did, you'll get a better waste (one that you can access the clean) and it will probably work out the same price 👍🏻😁
