I just lost my Mom last year due to her weight and stress :(. Please take care of yourself!
My mom weighed 358 pounds and she died last year. I agree with you. May God help us all.
Sorry for your loss.
Thank you for sharing your story. It's important.
Ty for sharing that. You take care too ❤️🩹
Sorry For Your Loss RiP Beautiful Angel She In Heaven Now
Sorry For Your Loss RiP Beautiful Woman Your Mom In Heaven Now Jesus And God Bless Her
I lost 30 lbs in 2 months after watching what I eat without any exercise. But I was feeling weak and having some skin problems. I noticed that I need to exercise. Losing weight isn't all there to it. It is about being healthy. If you want to feel good about losing weight and want to keep going, balanced diet and exercise BOTH need to go together. Just wanted to help based on my experience.
I have a lot of questions about this show. Have the participants been screened for clinical depression? Do they need antidepressants to keep them motivated and positive? What about doing a complete hormone panel for thyroid, adrenals, etc? They definitely need a therapist who specialises in past trauma. Without that, all the weight is going to come right back on at the next emotional crisis. They need coping mechanisms that will replace emotional eating.
Very well said. Are you working in a psychiatric field?
how about some serious councelling???!!!!
antidepressants that work as seratonin inhibitors do the opposite of motivating you, you ll be calm and "less sad" but less motivated. Dopamine regulating ones might help weight loss...Like wellbutrin.
Are you a doctor or some kind of qualification to assume these people are depressed?
@@MrThatnativeguyIt’s a huge increase if you are obese with depression. As one who is 258 pounds now. I know I need to get in shape. Definitely depressed. I eat. Get angry at myself then get depressed only to repeat. Trauma as kids is also common. 6 years of childhood abuse to me. I saw murder on vacation. Survived two forest fires evacuated from both. I survived a hurricane that killed others on another vacation… Then got extremely sick after the storm along with many others. Contaminated water at the resort. Been through a lot of terrible things…
Exercising in the water is good for loosing weight.
Definitely! A lot easier on your joints
It was too much too fast. A lifestyle change needs to be more gradual and sustainable. You have to build the habit first.
He also needs to be in therapy to figure out where the food addiction stems from and work on healing.
No need to focus so much on exercise. 90% is diet, 10% is exercise. Ppl can lose weight by doing no exercise at all. If you eat less what you eat now you lose weight. As simple as that. Not saying exercise is not important tho
Agreed. Walking would drastically improve his health and weight without giving him a heart attack.
I needed to hear tht
You are 100 per cent correct. This show is so wrong headed. Diet is so much more important. This exercise is dangerous for someone this size!
Exercise is vital for health. Especially heart and joint health which suffer the most. Also it's a good way for keeping an eye and maintain motivation
Diet is only 80% exercise is 10% and sleep 10% diet and rest are key
Intermittent fasting keeps me in control of my food intake. If I eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner even in "small amounts", its all over. My brain just makes me eat and eat and eat. It lets my brain know that I will have One Main Meal a day with some minor snacking if I choose. So I plan for it like its a reward. Also I do things to distract from the refrigerator like it is my enemy. Stretching excercise is my daily routine plus walking.
Omad & if really helped me and I love it, I'm never hungry!
Should just eat when you are hungry
@minakatahizuru But I am always hungry.
Nick is such a good guy. I hope keeps continuing to lose weight and find his dreams.
How you know he's a good guy ? You only saw a sliver of his life?
This was like 10 years ago...wonder how he's doing now
Very useful and encouraging!
Mick seemed like a nice guy and it must be just painful to never be feel that you have had enough. My heart goes out to him. But, seeing him eat all that food at the restaurant was shocking. I hope he does slain his dragon. He deserves it.
Don't stop at the drive through, go to the fruit and vegetables shop. Fast food is so bad .
How does he get so much money to eat dim sum several times a week without income?
Without a doubt his parents. He still lives at home, his dad is obese too.
247.3 kg = 545.2 pounds
😭insane
I was bigger
Honestly not that bad. You should see my 600lb life. It's a Houston based show. You have to be at least 600 lbs to be considered.
Wtf?! That’s why I was so confused to why he could walk at 273. Now it makes sense.
@@ariasworld9991 hmu baby
Any info on this today? I can't find anything.
I wish him all the best of luck
Loose 200ibs?! I’m 5’9 and barley weigh 130 holy moly that’s insane 😵💫
It's a myth that we need three square meals a day. One proper meal a day and a few snacks is more than enough for the human body to function
Your body could function on much less than that doesn't mean it will function well.
Not for normal humans.
You know the majority needs to eat and has a healthy weight.
I desperately need 3 meals a day to function and maintain my weight.
I would starve with only one meal
For some people it is a myth and for some it is not. Everybody has different needs
@@ActuallyAShrimp we all have different needs and we have to deal with them not expect the rest of the world to do it for us .if someone" needs" twelve pints a night should every tax payer finance that persons need through their tax
@@michaelharrison3602 I'm not sure what you're even going on about. It isn't healthy or commonplace for most people to eat only one meal a day because calorie and macro nutrients matter more than just a linear meal
How did this guy ended up with thomas muller as his trainer?
High protein low calorie diet is a must for people who are very overweight. It keeps you full much longer than a regular diet. Also, therapy is a must for people at this weight. A good mental state does wonders to your self-discipline
I'm 110 pound over my average weight what should I do how is that diet can you tell me
@@Moon-sv2lr Reduce your portion size. Reduce take away foods if you have them.
Reduce snacking, substitute to healthier versions.
Eat lean protein, a large amount of vegetables and small portion of carbohydrate in each of your meals. Continue to make your fav meals just substitute for healthier versions. Also counting calories helps, make sure your in a deficit. Light walking gradually increasing to 6-8000 steps. You will see the weight come off. All the best, you can do it. I’ve lost 30 pounds and have 70 to go.
It’s all about appetite control. Once u master that, everything else is easy
so if you don't master it, you stay obese
You need to watch Dr Jason Fung.
@@elmtree33 I’m gonna watch him
As somebody whose lost lots of weight over the past year, I have to say I disagree. Things like that don't matter if you're not in the right mental space and appetite doesn't always link with how often you eat.
It’s not something you can master. The key for me was starting to love myself and not putting trash into my body. Taking care of my body and exercising. But everyone is different
This is What i call a self destruction... Im 25 years old. Im glad ive been doing aerobic exercise since The age of 5...
20 years of regular aerobic exercise.....
This guy is just a reminder of how not to behave in life when it comes to eating...
Does this programme have the ethical approach of looking after his mind?
Im confused 40 kilos in 40 days i looked up the conversion thats almost 90lbs. Am i missing something? That doesn't seem possible.
Morbidly Obese people tend to lose weight much quicker.
If you're morbidly obese you can lose significantly more weight than you can at a lower weight. Weight loss slows down significantly at the overweight /bordering obese mark from what I've experienced
He did it though. It's a lot but he did it, so it's possible. He had to be eating 10000 cal a day to maintain that. It makes it easier to lose weight just with diet. And he was adding exercise though.
Eat less then the body uses, simple but challenging... calorie defecit and more movement weight falls off👍👍👍
We have a winner!!!!
And for those skinnies, eat more than your body burns.
His name is Mick Spalding pls tell me at least 1 member of the familys done "Mick's Balding" 🤣
Personal Empowerment. That's the Take Away.
If he had personal impowerment , he wouldn't be a obese man
My girlfriend is getting really big. She is really obese and I am not attracted to her physically. How do I get her to start losing weight without hurting her.
Break up with her and let her on her own journey. If her weight has made her unattractive to you, she wasn't meant for you and vise versa.
Can you guys exercise together? Like take walks or something? I don't like this trainer guy on this show; he acts like he's getting sonewhat unfit people ready for the strongman competition! So don't act like him, lol. But (assuming you're still together), 1) you should evaluate your relationship for you. Is she the person you wanted to date? I get physical attraction is important, but is she the person you wanted? You shouldn't continue daying if she's not the person for you. And 2) it is important to be honest. If she can't handle honesty, she might not be the person for you either. She needs to be told the truth in love, and it's up to her to take care of herself. But if you want to continue dating & to help her, I think exercising together might be the way to go. And eating healthy (nice food, not like celery sticks & cabbage soup. Just healthy food.) Good luck to both of you!
Break up with her so she can lose weight for revenge.
247.3kg equal 545lbs
Why didn't they just say that but we could see that it didn't mean he was 247 pounds 😅😅😅
Roughly 550 pounds
Forget this dramatic documentary
I want to know how these people have a heart to exercise. Their hearts are clogged. How does the heart de-clog. To be able to exercise and breathe.
If his heart was clogged he'd have dropped dead of a heart attack whether he exercises or not.
Wow. That’s enough dim sum for 3 people!
So much food for one meal. Is it a stomach or a wending machine.
No need to insult him
Parents are always to blame its not rocket science. Then vultures like weight loss company's get their claws into you and take your money for the privilege of something you can do for free!
They can't be vultures if their is a problem to exploit
It's almost as if crash dieting/eating disordered behaviour only leads to temporary changes and a yoyo cycle🤔
It's also super disgusting how his totally valid human desire to be romantically loved is equated with his body size.
Our outward appearance reveals our inner weaknesses. He lies to himself, is an addict, is weak-willed, and lazy. Those virtues are revealed in his appearance therefore he is not attractive to a mate
1:09 I seriously and honestly did not know quad-moobs were a reality.
Sure it is i have many
They look like pure titans from attack on Titan
Damn 😅😅😅😅
I only wonder what went through Lee's mind seeing the father in more or less the same state as his son.
Shameless and disgusting.
I disagree with eating carbs. It's what gave me diabetes in the first pace. Oats and apples and the like.
If it were instant, sugary oats, yeah, but steel-cut oats have a different effect. Especially when eaten with protein, healthy fats, and fiber.
Carbs don't give you diabetes. Dysfunctional insulin receptors do. Controlling your carb intake helps regulate your blood sugar, but it doesn't cause diabetes.
Can’t believe the host blamed the mother for a 33 year olds man’s diet. Look at the state of the father, does he need to be babied too
where do these guys get the money from to buy so much food? :o
its ok big pharma has the final solution, boosting him to the netherworld.
Food stamps duh
That 'duh' is not necessary, not everyone knows about that ( NL here, we don't have that ), kind of a disgusting attitude - you're not amazing or special derp.
@@Jenny-uv4dl wouldn't cover the amount of food they need to eat to maintain that weight
That's always the big question. Even on my 600 lb life where many are on disability. How can they afford all that food
Eat less... Don't go for your palate always!!! Regular walk is important too..
Terrifying
We saw the food going in - it would be interesting to see how in the heck it comes out. Did they just turn the bathtub into a toilet?
no could die about it, they definitely will die
I can gain 20 pounds in just three days. If I run out of my pee pills...my goodness. Last week I was 329 pounds. Yesterday, 307. Today, 302.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you heal.
@@sigmaballz8548 I got put on Topamax as an appetite suppressant. I have been taking it for about three weeks. My mood has improved. I have more energy. My general pain is less and today, I walked up my inside steps like a normal person and my knees didn't hurt.

Wtf us pee pills?😅
Did he actually eat everything on that table???? I think that might be one of the most disgusting things I have ever seen. WOW And How does he pay for all that food?????
I'm sure his mother pays for a lot of it.

no offense but can u say a bottle of water?🤣 bc i usually sounds like : can i ge a bowe o wahe 😅
Like this video friend i hope jogging friend
Freskin' gross!
Why is a clearly insulin insensitive or possibly even borderline insulin resistant person eating so much sugar?! Keto or even carnivore and fasting seems more logical. Some greens and even berries could be added back as he gets healthier.
Keto is the diet for treating seizures, not diabetes.
Gluttony
Eat eat and continue to eat. Live life
Are you sure about this
Willpower is nothing in the face of carbs. You need a different kind of dietician - one who understands that carbs are addictive. You gotta go low carb. No will power is needed then. Because no addiction. Also, your bodily will automatically go exercise. I feel so sorry for him.
"Quick" carbohydrates like refined sugar and white flour should be avoided. It's actuallyt the ultra processed foods like pizza and chocolate that are addictive, but that's because of the high amount of quick carbs. But complex carbohydrates like those found in whole wheat, fruits and veggies are not unhealthy and have health benefits. And carbs per se do not give you diabetes, it's more complex than that.
have these people never been introduced to liposuction? I mean sure, lifestyle changes are important but liposuction is absolutely necessary yet ignored
Eat according to sunnah. End of discussion.
More like 350 to 400 pounds you need to loose not 200 lbs
who is the enabler that's buying the food and giving him the money to eat so much
His mom the food dealer
Fruits and veggies 😂😂😂😂😂 carnivore bro !
Heartbreaking ❤️🩹 But people must see the weight gain as it’s coming on. Please HELP THEM & DO NOT SAY MEAN THING’S or BULLY.
Being overweight jee could there be a simple solution ahhhhhhh stop over eating.
