Holy. Shit. 2018. A gun company finally comes out with a pistol with texture at the top of the grip where shooters actually need it. The gun looks like shooters designed it. I hope it runs!
It ran about 2000 rounds on the presentation but we haven't had the chance to properly stress test it yet

This company is giving the gun community exactly what we thought we had, but this one is definitely better..... I’ll get one as soon as it hits the market.
First you beat the hell out of the hammer fire market, now you're going after Glock and I love it! Great looking gun and now keep that size and give the rmr cut.
I suspect that we will see a tactical version with a threaded barrel and rmr cut in the future, maybe also a full sized model...

Looks well thought out. I like the serrations on the slide plate and the rear sight; and the trigger action seems is very nice.
On screen seems to be a strong contender for my PPQ, reset is fantastic and ergo also very good, hope to see one soon here in Italy. Thankd for the excellent presentation

FN Five seveN also have the "reset" trigger.. i love this feature on pistol, it makes follow-up shots very easy and accurate !

The best gun channel out of Europe. One of the only ones. The best one. Better than some channels here. Almost makes me want to move to Slovenia. My great great grandparents were from that part of the former Yugoslavia.
The appearance reminds me of an FN 509. It seems to be very nice and has a strong utilitarian look to it. I would like to give one a try, but I would prefer to get one with a safety.
The manual safety was primarily intended for LEO and military contracts but i'm sure they will also offer it in a couple of civilian models.
They will have all the new models available to shoot at SHOT industry day
I'm normally a .45 user, but if I ever get a 9mm, Rex Zero 1 will be my first choice.
Delta in an aluminum lower would be a beast. Maybe even a Sphinx killer if you like striker fired pistols.

How does it shoot in terms of accuracy and reliability? Does it seem like it will keep working for a long time without too much maintainance?
Accuracy is very good, especially combined with the trigger but we haven't shot enough rounds to test reliability. Also these were pre-production prototypes so some things may still change
Has many of the same features of the Springfield XDM9 except that stupid grip safety. This is a good thing.

Handled one of these at the US Concealed Carry Expo in Pittsburgh at FIME Group's booth. Really, really nice guns, and the Delta comes at an excellent price point. If the ones with manual safeties become available, I'll be happy to buy one! I'd be really miffed if I had to pass this up because they didn't make the one with the manual safety available for consumers. This seems like an excellent alternative to the deluge of low-quality, overpriced striker-fired handguns I'm finding on the market.

Last time we were at the factory i got a sneak peak of some Gen 2 drawings. I'm not sure if it's just a concept or if they will start working on it but im pretty sure we won't see it at least for a year or more. Right now they are full focused on the Rex Delta

Every time I look at the Rex Delta I immediately think of the Ruger Secuity 9. LoL
is the trigger reach shorter than the rex zeros? their trigger reach was over 3 inches, which is too far to hold comfortably for many people
If it had polymer mags with metal feed lips, this would have been a win.
Unfortunately, now this is still no Glock killer.
Also, I don''t know why manufacturers insist on doing a front sight dovetail. Just do a screw in post. It's just as cost saving, and prevents the front sight from coming loose.

I read an article that said it won’t be out till December of this year or like the guys at Polenar said, at Shot Show in 2019. I wish it was sooner! When it does come out it will be a strong competitor with Canik for sure.

Is the extractor easy to remove and clean behind? I hate having to punch out roll pins to do that. I only saw a roll pin for the loaded chamber indicator so my hopes are that it's easy to remove once you remove the rear striker plate.
It has an internal extractor similar to Rex Zero 1 so i'm not sure how easy it would be to remove.
Also this is the pre-production model so there may be some improvements still...

Looks cool. I'm a little concerned about how the slide comes off the rails without having to travel down their length. Hopefully they have that figured out, otherwise we'll be seeing reports of slides flying off of frames.
I prefer my hammer fired pistols but dang i want this.

Optics ready version
Threaded barrel version.
Since it's going to be produced in Brazil too, hope to one day be able to buy a full size grip with the compact slide version present in the current version (Kind of like the G45 or G19X), but having it Optics ready and with a threaded barrel.
They are releasing more models at the start of the new year. The Delta L (G17 size), Delta M (G19 size), and Delta X (G19x size) -- both in optics ready and non optics ready versions.

@@eduardolimaargimon5499 It is, but there's three different sizes with the next generation of the pistol. The pistol is still called "Delta," but it now has an L and X variant, in addition to the M (the original G19 sized version of the gun).
Price Point ? Looks like you took the que from the Glock 19 size and improved it.

Two questions. What are the dovetails for those sites? From what I was reading about the Delta, it uses Springfield XD sights? And also how does it feel in the hand? Like what is the most immediate firearm that you could think of, based on memory, that it feels like in the hand? I imagine it's comfortable, but still curious. Love you guys.
Actually three questions. So here's the 3rd, what is the possibility for Aftermarket accessories for the Delta? From what you know or could ask AREX? like possible extended mag release, slightly extended or canted slide release, aftermarket Barrels, maybe a bi tone slide?
So wait, a handgun with the irons design to be snag free in the back of the rear irons, and sight rackable on the front of the rear irons? I'm still wondering how every other company gets that backwards with their "snag free" sights.
They explained it to us that the sights shouldn't snag when you are trying to get the gun out of the holster. I tried a couple of draws from appendix holster and it felt good. Would be interesting to compare it with some other designs

Thumb safety is the reason I never bought a 01. Nice the thumb rest is textured and there are memory index points with texture also.

EDIT: The more I look at it, it's like a G19, a P320 and a P10C had a threeway. Still, not a bad looking firearm.

I don't know if it's lighter but it definitely has a better clean break. Also some of the triggers still had 3D printed components so it's hard to compare them before the final version
