    I’ll take this over any other gun on the market right now.
    It fixes almost everything Glock refuses to (for me)
    It conceals great, and it is very reliable!
    I blacked out the rear cocking indicator (Sharpie) and painted the front sight with some orange glow in the dark paint.
    I have been carrying it for about 6 months and I haven’t gotten bored with it at the range yet.

    I guess I'm in the minority on this one. I find the ergos more comfortable with this gun over the Glock 19. The recoil was very manageable. I didn't mind the 5.5-6 lbs trigger because of the clean break and excellent reset that follows. It's by far better than any stock Glock trigger I've felt. I prefer the look as well over the boring Glock look. Fully ambidextrous controls that actually work. I paid $425 for it and I think it's a good value for all of the features it comes with.
    Is it as good as the P-10C?
    I would say no but it's not that far off.

      I paid $360, I own 21 pistols , and this gun was the size I've been looking for. Smaller than my G19 , lighter , comfortable, feels better than my G19 in my hand . The CZ P10c (big to carry) edges it in many categories except for size, btw its trigger has actually gotten better after 1000 rds. Bottom line is buy it. No plate for optics which sucks.

    This is a good thing! Another good pistol on the market, some will like it, others will not. I have a lot of pistols and recently bought a Rex Delta. Today, Delta is my EDC weapon. More ergonomic and snappy for concealed carry, excellent precision and finish, the slide has grooves for better grip and the grip is ergonomic and comfortable, the trigger reset is awesome, good price, it is an extremely good choice.

      @@arthurwood7525 I have been using my Rex Delta for 8 months, daily. I use it on a Kydex holster. I don't think the polimer is cheap. The mag is made by Mec-Gar and is very good finish, I think is better then polimer mags. I still thinking this is a very good pistol.

    The grip angle looks pretty similar to a cz steel frame but a lot more barbaric...
    You can see the inspirations from several manufacturers and maybe they are trying to perfect them all in one. Needs some more refinement though and I can see it being a great comfortable shooter the next gen BUT I’m not interested considering we have endless opportunities to build and buy something for our preferences
    While I looked very close at the zero I just went all in on a sig 229 ase. No regrets. Arex is still missing something for me personally but it’s awesome they are trying and seem to be doing well

    Not sure, as I don't own this (and wont unless it goes on crazy clearance), but I can give a suggestion, the cuts under the trigger guard are for people who put their support index finger on the front of the trigger guard. On guns I hold by the front of the guard, I often add grip tape to the bottom of the guard for my support middle finger. My hands sweat a lot, so I generally have issues with grip and that helps.

I personally did not handle this pistol but have been very interested based upon those features; will have to see how things go though and if there are any mid release changes made. Based on KS's review I am a bit skeptical yet. I trust his take on things because we have very similar opinions.

      It actually took a long time for anyone to make a direct G19 competitor in the same size. There were smaller and bigger, but nothing the same. This was strange because in a lot of ways the G19 is the perfect size for a lot of applications. But not the dam has broken and there are quite a few poly-striker guns in this size. So if a manufacturer is going to try, they need to have better features and/or value than what's out there. I don't see it with this one. As far as I'm concerned, the best value in this size gun is the M&P 2.0 Compact. Stronger, better ergos and features than the Glock 19, and significantly cheaper.

    • @killacoiler1707
      @killacoiler1707 5 лет назад

      @@bbmw9029 i would agree with that assessment for sure it is hard to beat the M&P 2.0 but I also like the FNS 9c it is very similar to the M&P 2.0 but with stippling more like the CZ P10c and is completely ambi controls like the XD by Springfield. It is one firearm I think gets overlooked far too much and like the m&p it is 17 round capable and has Apex trigger availability. The G19 in my opinion is outdated and ill equipped out the box for the money. The Delta has some appealing features but needs some refinement in areas to truly make it a contender with the big names it is the first offering I am sure that they will absorb the reviewers and consumer feedback and make tweaks and come out with a gen 2.

    KS I noticed in a few sneak peek vids of this that many of the testers were wearing tactical gloves and I believe that they aimed at ensuring that the grip texture provided excellent traction with wet or muddied gloved hands. Naming it Delta in a sense kind of denotes that it was intended as a duty sidearm maybe geared more towards professional operators than civilians. Let's face it we are one of very few countries that allows its citizenry to keep and bear arms so the majority of the global market is military and police and a large percentage of these wear some form of glove now-a-days. I do agree that one should not have to buff down sharp angles to comfortably shoot with bare hands, I felt that the P10C Gen1 texturing was overly aggressive like that and was quite pleased with the refinements of the P10 G2 series.
    Being it is a gen1 pistol and the attention to quality that came with other pistols from this manufacturer previously they will be taking notes and make slight changes rather quickly based on consumer feedback. Let's face it there aren't too many offerings that can match how well S&W made their 2.0 grip textures on the M&P line it is my favorite out of the box grip surfacing for sure and I think it sets the barr for what a grip surface should be. That being said the new Steyr grip modules and surface may very well have raised that barr although I haven't had any significant time handling it in a range day yet I did get to handle one at an expo a few months back and it is going to have any Steyr fan giddy that's for sure (hint hint 1776) 😊
    I have seen other reviews of the Delta where testers have said that they didn't like the first impressions of the trigger when dry firing that it seemed heavy and rather long traveled. But that when it came to actually shooting the weapon their opinion was changed and that they found it was rather pleasant and very unnoticeable; was this the same experience for you? I know that of all the reviewers I watch you and no offense are like me and a bit of a trigger snob so to speak. Would love to hear your thoughts on that and maybe after another range session wearing shooting gloves. Great video Thanks for Sharing Brother see you Wednesday for the chat.

    • @KSGunGuy01
      @KSGunGuy01  5 лет назад +1

      Very good points Coiler! I do agree that its intent is most likely for law enforcement and such and they may benefit from the grip contours. Time will tell on that one. As for the shooting, during slow fire, it wasn’t bad at all and the reset is fantastic. During rapid fire, the ergos just made it unpleasant but it was still reasonably accurate. I am no doubt a trigger snob which plays into things. Tough to avoid that. I may do a follow up but haven’t decided yet. We shall see! Thank you and cheers brother!

  • @ckim6400

    @KSGunGuy I heard that the Rex Delta is pre-cocked and the spongy trigger is caused by the trigger fully pulling the striker back to fire. I don't have one to check it out. The red cocked indicator in the back should move back a tiny bit when pulling the trigger back to the wall.

    Woa, not what I was thinking. I'd rather STIER. Thanques I appreciate the review KS - haven't seen any other Rex Delta reviews yet but this review will be highly reccomended from me. I love their RexZeo1 line - fantastik! The designers should take some feed back on this and try a Gen 2 because I would love for ARex to have a great polymer pistol and why not, everyone except "Ole Green" has a good polymer gun. Haven't touched the Mossberg MC yet but I understand it's a good alternative to the Sheild and G43 lines...

Angle and grip, too much light weight (yes, i like more heavy weapons) and trigger were my concerns about this gun : you answered them and i'll pass. The polymer striker fired pistol manufacturers have gotten so good that it’s hard to differentiate between them in terms of reliability and accuracy.
