Been a fan of Carlos' music all my life, what a talent! And, I have now just read Universal Tone. What a musician. What a man. He Bad mouths no-one, and credits all his successes with every member of his band Santana from the outset when he was fourteen years old. He almost idolises some of the musicians he has played with in the band, a very generous musician indeed.

I AM THE wOMAN in the video. Carlos was scolding the security guard (not Carlos' bodyguard) because he wouldn't let me pass the bouquet of roses to Carlos. My seat was not far from the stage. The security guard pushed me and hit me in the chest. No joke. What Carlos was telling him in this video was "I see you." "I'm watching you." what the video doesn't show is Carlos also telling the security guard "fuck you." I always take a bouquet of flowers to Carlos to every show I attend.
lolacat07 I saw him in DETROIT,years ago,people rushed the stage,security started pushing folks back,Carlos said let the people dance.Loved him since I first heard Samba pa ti,almost 50 years ago.
I saw Carlos and the band at the Hammersmith Odeon in '86 and almost got to shake his ✋ nice flowers and hope you managed to enjoy the show!! : )

Its hard to believe Jose Santana (Carlos's Dad) was a legendary Violinist and a Mariachi Leader and Carlos is a legendary Guitarist and it's possible Salvador can become a Legendary Keyboardist but it would be amazing if Salvador was a Guitarist but i still like his keyboard skills
