I'm curious about what the difference is between this and triggering the samples with midi notes and using the groove you extracted in the clips. Wouldn't it save you from manually placing individual samples?
You missed a very important question: do we do this to the notes in our bassline to groove with the drums or should there be some contrast with the bassline? please answer this😩
Do you ever adjust the warp markers placement on the transient of audio files? It doesn’t seem to always land right where the waveform actually starts but idk if that’s a problem
Yo! I defintiely think its good to be mindful of how other elements sit in the groove outside of just drums. Vocals I wouldnt worry much about, but for synth one shots and melodic elements, I think anything with 16th notes should be swung to the projects groove
I saw you had 999 Subs, so I had to click to make sure you hit 1K. Congrats! ;)
Usually cant sit through these 10min+ tutorials but this one was way to informative and extremely helpful.
This is gold bro. Def something not covered elsewhere. Thx

I defintiely swing my basses. Especially if they are more percussive like an 808 or tom
@@muusmusic do you use the same swing as your drums.
Theres no rules in music do what sounds best to you ‼
