Thank you for all the TDI content! I was curious if you happen to know how to by pass the rev limiter on the mk6 tdi? I can’t find anywhere on how to do it or why it even has it. Can you possibly make a video on it?? Please!!!
Just did IE stage 1 tune with Dsg tune and wow crisp and the power is awesome. The wife loves her TTS its a little beast now. Im going to do this intake but i will get a K&N filter and make it fit. Carbon is flex, and love that sbout this intake. Plus it might a 5hp maybe more with a tune.
Hi, i have same car with you and just bought the same filter as well and didnt fit it yet, thx your vid first of all, why did not try with both noise door open?
Theres nothing else I can really do in terms of performance stuff with the TDI, and the support for the build was never present until I stopped posting it so...
Just ordered one of these for my 2010 TTS, keen for it to arrive. Ive been rocking the stock airbox while running APR stage 2+ because the stock intake is incredibly good for what it is. Does the IE connect to the stock air duct for the box? that could be why temps are so high with sound covers on because it cant grab cool air from anywhere.
Yeah it hooks up to the stock air ducting that scoops from the front grille, when the car is moving its better to have the doors closed (Or at least you would think) cause having the doors open pulls engine bay air, but sometimes if volume is the issue this would help
The more covers you leave open the more hot engine air you are sucking in, I would recommend the front because it least it would be subject to more air flow that is coming through different holes in the front of the car vs the back where it’s pulling stagnant air that is hot off the turbo/ exhaust
I’m also modding my MK2. have the same intake coming in wednesday!
What tools did u use?

I’m not a tuner so I have no idea

I have nothing against the TTS as I had an 8j RS but man I miss the TDI content. Seems like lots of others do too. What happened to it?

Seems like might as well keep the stock box on
Honestly it probably doesn't make much of a difference in terms of a relatively stock vehicle, but we can test more as time goes on!
How much HP gain after install this vs stock?
Tools used?
We need TDI content 😂
Guess you’ll have to buy me another one 👍🏻
So, is the best sound with both flaps open?
Yes
@@ThatGuyTyy are the figures better with both flaps open or with only front one?
I would like to know also the same question. What about leaving off just the rear cover?

HP+ ?
hello fellow tts owner

intakes are almost never worth the money/bhp.
Yeah mainly for the aesthetic on this one, Audi/ vw has great intakes from factory
