    I’ve had the T400’s in the bag for about a year now and absolutely LOVE them. The best clubs I have ever hit. The lofts do require some conversion ( i.e. if you’re used to hitting your old 7 iron to X distance, you may now be pulling a 8 or 9 iron from the T400 series). But don’t let that scare you. These clubs are a dream to play with.

    Love that you guys apply each club as best you can to “a type of player”. Really helps us novice players get an idea of what we should be looking at.

    Thomas, consistent? That is an understatement. I'm always amazed when he reviews clubs, so enjoyable to watch.

    Went in for my fitting really wanting the t200 as a players distance iron but i just didn't get that wow factor. Hit the t100s and they were more like what i was after but i just didn't hit them consistently enough. In the end i opted for the cally apex 21s which gave a soft but solid feel and great overall distance and dispersion

    went for a fitting yesterday, the 620 mbs are such nice clubs that are surprisingly forgiving with a lot of distance for a blade

    9 DIFFERENT EXPERTS HAVE SAID THE T-300 HAS EVERY ASPECT A GREAT IRON SHOULD HAVE. AN 8 HANDICAPPER COULD BRING HIS SCORE DOWN TO A 5-6 HANDICAP , A 12 HANDICAPPER COULD BRING SCORE DOWN TO 9-10 , AN 17 HANDICAPPER COULD BRING SCORE DOWN TO 13-14 .

    As an older golfer a moderate to slow swing speed I need more loft to get the ball in the air.
    Manufacturers only seem to build game improvement irons with less loft which in my mind seems to be the wrong way around.

      Hi Dennis thought you’re comments about more loft was good 👍 I just bought a set of Titleist T300 Iron’s 7 to 48deg Gap Wedge with graphite shafts & get plenty of height, And have Rescues 4, 5 & 6(28deg), You may find that’s the best way to go for more height (hope this helps) 9hcp 75year Senior golfer Dickey UK

    Hi Thomas great 👍 review of the Titleist iron range, I just received my Titleist T300 irons from 7iron to 48deg Wedge in Tensei red (2deg up +1”longer) I am delighted 😀 with how they performed, increased Ball Speed, Swing Speed & Distance & straight med high Flight testing on practice ground with launch monitor, my club fitting was a great help in selecting the best Irons & Shafts for me, 9hcp 75year senior golfer Thanks Dickey UK

      @@2ndswing question - is the 2021 and 2022 T300 the same clubs? Was there any changes made from 2021 to 2022?

    When I get a fitting, I will be most interested in trying the Mizuno irons (223, 225, and JPX 921) because of what I have heard about their feel and forgiveness. But I would definitely want to compare them with the T300s due to their power and forgiveness. Plus the Ping i59 model seem to be a possible good choice to compare.

    • @atxrich
      @atxrich 2 года назад +1

      The Mizuno Pro 223 compare favorably with the T100S. They both felt great but I ultimately went with the 223.

      I was looking for a player’s distance and for me the 225’s launched in the perfect window for my swing the t200’s launched too high. The fact they were also the best looking and feeling was icing on the cake

      T300 is more GI than everything else you mentioned. T200 would compare better to i59 and 225, others would be T100/S

      Absolutely loved the T300’s when I got fitted. Nothing compared as far as forgiveness AND power! They’ll be here in Les’s than two weeks! So excited!

    I'm a high handicapper and I tried the T200 and T300, both with AMT red shafts. I have a tendency to strike my irons thin and the T300 were considerably more forgiving on those thin hits. My best shots on both were comparable, but for someone who doesn't strike his irons as consistently as Thomas, you will see a very large difference in forgiveness.
    Would have been very interesting to see the numbers of a T400 9-iron. I'm curious if the spin/carry/launch numbers would have been similar to a T100s 7-iron since those are almost the same loft.

    Great video. How do you put a tagg with each club set up on a trackman ? We have the chance to borrow different clubs and test it in a trackman. Would be nice to get it explained how you do it.

    Im super torn between t300s and jpx 923s .... I've tried out 923s but cant demo t300 in my area. 923s gave me great numbers but not being able to try t300 is messing with my head.

    • @2ndswing
      @2ndswing  Год назад +1

      Both are really great options for sure. T300 is a half degree weaker in loft at standard in the 7-iron, so you might see slightly less distance but more launch. There are different materials within each club as well, so the feel and sound will be something to monitor. We found that the T300 is slightly louder than the JPX 923

    I'd like to try those T100 s or non s irons. Maybe the T200 non forged. I have an old set of Forged 775CB's and I love the sound. I don't think I'd like the sound of those non forged irons. I'm seeing fitter from Titleist this week and will try their newest irons and ask for the forged. This helped.

    Love to get some extra info about to which HCP-player (e.g. 400 iron more for mid HCP 18 up etc.) you would put the clubs and what shaft options are in place.

    I wonder if it would make sense to do reviews on Irons backwards from Distance.
    Identify the clubs from each set that go a certain distance, then judge based on dispersion, ball flight, ability to hold a green, etc.

    You hit the T400 one more time then the rest, that far right hit certainly changed everything too. Not a perfect apples to apples comparison, but T400 for the win in my opinion, and by a mile.
