    I test & compare the Titleist T100S, T100, 620CB & 620MB irons looking at the differences in performance and which models are ideal to create split sets etc. These are all the forged headed irons that Titleist offer.

    Thanks for the awesome review Mike! Such a great channel and great reviews you provide. One thing to mention about the t100s vs t100 is the placement of CG. Titlest made the CG lower in the iron face for the t100s, not only the 2 degrees of loft. Specific placement of the tungsten is different in the t100s vs t100. Also the turf interaction in the T100s is a little different, supposedly easier turf interaction.

    Just picked up T100S yesterday and took to the course, it took almost exactly 3 months to get them, only nonstandard item was true temper black instead of white shafts, used to have AP2 716 (traded in for these) and did better with them than any other irons. I also have Srixon, Callaway, and just purchased some Taylormade P790 since I was getting tired of waiting. Now I will be trading in all other irons as these (for me) are way better than any of the others (not sure why). I just have more confidence when I hit these than others, so I hit better and farther. I"m 71, so the decreasing weight of the shafts works well vs the 6.0 that I had on AP2. Still use stiff as I just hit them more accurately, good old torque.

    I'm in the T100S bent 1 weak. I really like them. Pretty easy to hit for the look. Shot my first ever rounds in the 60s with these clubs.

    Just bought a full set of the CBs, KBS tour 90 Stiff shaft. I cannot wait to try them on the course. During the fitting I hit the T200, T100, CB, and MB. I was more consistent with the CB.

      coming from Taylormade M2 strong lofted super game improvement irons. Hitting my m2 7iron 2012 yards because it was actually lofted like a 5 iron. i didnt know anything about game improvement/players irons until i was fitted.

    Great idea only having forged clubs in this video and cast in another. Your videos have come such a long way from the JPX EZ review days. Top line/offset, back and sole views for every club along with the nice hitting room and software showing info about each strike. 👍🏻👍🏻👈🏻

    when you spend so much for clubs these days, it's hard to resist the looks of titleist irons ( as it's always been). i'm excited to at least to go to the range after upcoming covid vaccination. riding with a stranger in a cart, is, for me, another year away.

    For me, it is a decision between the T100 and the CB's. I much prefer the look of the CB's but all that Technology built into the T100 is hard to ignore. I'm a 5 and have hit CB's for the last 10 years, I really like how I can get new irons every few years and nothing changes much. On the PGA Tour, I cannot think of anyone hitting CB's, it's MB's or AP2's or T100. They hit a lot more balls than I do, play for a lot more money than I do, so it seems like taking advantage of the new tech seems reasonable. When I went to fitting for CB vs T100, T100 launched higher and farther and with less spin, didn't notice a big difference in feel or workability but my spin #'s in T100 were too low for my liking compared to the CB's. Not sure which way to go on this one, blending a set of T100's and CB's would just be weird!

    HI!
    I am currently gaming the 620 CB in 5i-PW! My 4i is currently a T200.
    the reason for the T200 is for the height! That club launches to the moon and gives me a lot of stopping power!
    Really enjoyed the review!

    I am really interested in a combo set of 4-7 in the T100 and 8-P in the MB’s and bending the mb’s one strong to gap 4° between my P and 50° aswell as the 8 and 7. What are your thoughts on it? Anything I should think about?

    Conventional wisdom is that blades are intended for the best players, and certainly using them requires more practice than most people will commit to (and perhaps more athletic ability than most people have). However, there is a minority of opinion that blades are the ultimate "game improvement" iron, because they force you to hit them right, and there is some value in this.
    The question: Do you see any downside in someone purchasing a few blade irons to take to the range, but playing with a more "forgiving" iron?

  • @SwayPromo

    Titleist is ridiculous with how many Irons they offer. I would bet the T100 T100S T200 do 75 percent or more of the sales. They could kill 3 or 4 offerings and nobody would care.

    How do these MB's compare to your Wilsons?

  • @petter284
    @petter284 3 года назад +1

    Great lineup in my opinion. However I think that Titleist has moved the T100 little bit to close to the CB though. The head of the T100 is smaller than the original AP2. They should have an option for those who wants the forged feel, standard lofts but not look almost like a blade when you adress it by the ball.

    • @andrewbankert8997
      @andrewbankert8997 3 года назад

      The T200 is exactly what you're looking for.

    • @petter284
      @petter284 3 года назад

      @@andrewbankert8997 I'm not so keen on the feel of the T200. It's also quite hot and strong lofted, thus not giving me the spin numbers and control that I want :)

    • @andrewbankert8997
      @andrewbankert8997 3 года назад

      @@petter284 they are hot off the face! You could always bend them or add an extra wedge to the bag. I agree with you though, when I did my fitting I did not love the feel of the T200. They're super nice, but after hitting the T100-s they were not comparable in terms of feel in my opinion.

    • @petter284
      @petter284 3 года назад

      @@andrewbankert8997 Yes that's the beauty but also difficult thing when choosing clubs. It's always a trade, if you want a nice soft feel you usually need to sacrifice something else, e.g. forgiveness, and vice versa.
      I went for the T100 though, I'm overall very satisfied sometimes I feel they're on the smaller side for me. I liked the AP2 better actually, maybe I should switch back haha.

    • @andrewbankert8997
      @andrewbankert8997 3 года назад +1

      @@petter284 you are correct. I thinks sometimes there are too many options that it has us second guessing our choices. I hit the 718 AP2's and really liked them, but for me the T100's were that much better. I don't know how long you've had yours, but I'd imagine you would get used to the slightly smaller head of the T100. Happy golfing brother!

  • @samslade7986

    Interesting that the 100s with less loft had a higher peak height then the 100. Spin a little better with the 100, but the 100s makes up for it with descent angle.
